LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours

Well, gentlemen! ) Today i managed to have a look at the new Trade Catalogue of 2009! )

So, what can I say? )

The sets are awesome! )

Separatist Shuttle.

A classic neimoidian shuttle in gray and blue. Comes with 3 BD, nute Gunray and that guy with Greedo's face from the CW serial. The ruler of that planet.... ) Can't remember the name now.

Venator.

Indeed, only 5 minis. Palpatine, 2 senate commandos and two clones.

Tank Droid.

All dark gray, with 2 jet troopers. Looks to small and short.... hm, hope it'll be revised....

Endor.

The bunker. Smaller version of AT-ST (looks awesome!). 2 ewoks, 2 scout troopers, Han, Leia, death Star trooper. Will be a limited edition, exclusive set.

Any questions, while I still remember? )

Did you manage to take a look of the echo base?

Hi,

I doubt that the Endor Playset will cost 120€ as I read at the first page of this thread because at our Fanwelt Cologne 2008 we heard from TLC that it will be 99,99€/ 99,99$.

I hope that it isn't a limited edition because it sounds really really great (why doesn't it include more minifigs???)!

Aahhh. So we DO get an Onocadda Farr. I'll be looking forward to that, and of course Nute Gunray. And for those who didn't think it'd be a Neimiodian Shuttle, I hate to say I told you so! H craft my foot. So, who else besides me has a feeling there might be a fall 09' set with possible a blue Delta-7B? With the white stripes? They made the yellow, blue and white, and red Eta-2, so why not a white and blue Delta-7B to go with these two current ones?

EDIT: Oh boy jump troopers! But no battle droids in the Snail Tank?

With the news above that the Endor set has a scaled down (how much ?) AT ST in I am wondering whether to stock up on 7657 whilst my local toyshop has some left (no longer on S@H)

Sounds great! We finally get Gunray and a Rodain, but hopefully they'll both be like Plo Koon- CW-styled minifigures, but still looking like a classic-style one (if you know what I mean).

Hmm... Now I have my doubts on getting it. I'll probably just get the Palpy fig on BL.

Sounds good, just what we expected. I'm not sure whether or not I like this "mid-scale" idea yet... On one hand, the mid-scale models are cool, small, save space, and cost less, but on the other hand, normal- sized SW vehicles are small (compared to minifigs) already. The TIE Advanced in the DS looked good enough...

No. There were no droids. ) Though I might have not noticed thae, I was carefully studing the way "the eyes" were made.... )

No. There might have been Chewy there.... But I looked t the set carefully, no officers, no AT-ST pilots....

The Penguin, what can you tell about the level of detail for Venator? Its piece count was rather low and I think we could appreciate some insight.

I'm still purchasing the venator, tank droid, shuttle, and echo base.

I'm not getting endor it just dosen't sound great.

@ Penguin: Hows that Venator? Is it similar to the ISD minifig size? What are the parts and the playability like? How much dark red is on it?

I plan to buy about 3-5 of those and make a REAL minifig Venator ^^ SO I need to know if that are good parts or not

In the new Lego online catalog, you can see that Brickmaster magazine will have not only the MINI Republic Star Destroyer special in the January-February issue, but also a another (unknown at the moment) Star Wars exclusive in the July-August issue. I wonder what it could be?

Indeed, it was there. ) But it seemed just like the rebel one. Nothing special. )

The Venator picture is quite small there, so I couldn't study it carefully. It seems to be smaller than ISD, I'm afraid....

Clones on venator seem to be generic. No special markings on them. No commanders.

The Endor set does include rebel soldiers, though I don't remember if those are heroes or just some rebels. )

No, I didn't see the pirate tank. Hmmm, I'll check it....

Gentlemen, if the person who showed me the catalog will be kind enough to give me it once again, I shall be able to answer all your questions! )

Also, Penguin, apparently the Mon Cal cruiser wasn't there? (It was a fan's choice, after all). Are you allowed to scan the catalogue or not? I would really like to know more about the Sep shuttle and the Venator,

Thanks so much, penguin, though. Without your info, we would still be stuck on a lot of the sets, (such as what the Sep shuttle was or whether the tank was the snail). But you mentioned that the Sep shuttle was gray and blue? In the movies it's tan. I'm assuming they applied the Sep colour scheme like they did to the AAT, am I correct?
