CommanderCody77 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I don't think any of the magnet sets will come to Hong Kong though so I have to order on Ebay Quote
LEGOscum Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Would they be the same as the ones alsonar's pointed to a while ago?- the ones in the first post? Maybe. This thread is very hard to keep track of. I checked back and couldn't find anything tho :( Jeremy Quote
General Magma Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=852555new clone wars magnet set with Yoda, Dooku & Mace Holy..I am saving up for the AAT, now I will get the magnet set and AAT both - the RAS and Solar Sailor which I wanted to buy were mostly for the minifigs..but now I just get the AAT (I seriously want the AAT itself too, not only Yoda.) and the magnet set too! AWESOME!! Quote
Captain REX Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 It would be great also if they did Rex, Cody and Fox. you beat me to it! dang but i like this idea as well. I never got the AT-TE or the HSD so this would be a great pack. Come on Lego make it happen! Quote
The Rancor Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Holy..I am saving up for the AAT, now I will get the magnet set and AAT both - the RAS and Solar Sailor which I wanted to buy were mostly for the minifigs..but now I just get the AAT (I seriously want the AAT itself too, not only Yoda.) and the magnet set too! AWESOME!! I've got to agree here. I still want the AAT (and maybe the Republic Shuttle), but now I don't have to buy the Solar Sailer for Dooku. I hope there are some clone magnets ion the future - but there is nothing to support this, as of yet. Quote
slimninj4 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I thought the magnet sets are glued together? Quote
L-space Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 (edited) I thought the magnet sets are glued together? NO look here Edited February 4, 2009 by L-space Quote
puddleglum Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Haha anyone with a spare Boba better sell him now while the price is still high. I'll probably end up getting the Leia pack, though I've always wanted a Darth Maul...(what color are the accents on his robe, looks like aqua blue or something ) The pricey Cloud City Boba Fett will still fetch top dollar due to it's rarity - it has the printed arms and legs. Wout Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Looks very nice. And a nice cheap way to get three main figs, especially the new Dooku. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 (edited) I thought the magnet sets are glued together? Come on dude! You're like the 15th to say this! And we've confirmed in December, you're wrong!!! Wrong wrong wrong! Regular minifigs. Detachable from the magnetic brick. I also determined these are all 100% real. I type the serial numbers into Shop@home, and even though it came up as "not available," I still got results and the pictures meaning they're coming soon. Bricks Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Thanks for all the new magnet sets pictures I really love them, and so I'm very happy to see them going away from the near death. But one point is really crazy, why made TLC a magnet set, which contains the three rarest figures of the new spring sets? But we just smiling 'Bricks' Quote
Commander Flash Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Hmmm.. i could get 25 of the leia ones and make deal or no deal (i already have one leia). Then i would have a mandalorian army and guard army. haha. That would never happen. I am definately getting all of them over time. Quote

Excuse me if I'm wrong. ) This topic is to discuss the contents of the sets and rumors about them. This is unrelated to that, seeing as it has to do with your collection. Back on topic, I am afraid TLG will make the Dooku+Mace+Yoda pack $20 or even $30! Either way, it's still cheaper than the AAT, Shuttle, and Solar Sailer combined. (Though too late for me, I have all three! ) Edited February 4, 2009 by Darth Legolas Quote
Captain REX Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Really is that the price in dollars? I feel sorry for you . in pounds its still £8.79 Quote
Etzel Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Back on topic, I am afraid TLG will make the Dooku+Mace+Yoda pack $20 or even $30! Either way, it's still cheaper than the AAT, Shuttle, and Solar Sailer combined. (Though too late for me, I have all three! ) I think you're wrong about the price. The magnet set is already available in Sweden S@H and for just 94.50SEK which are $11.35. And considering that lego is more expensive in Sweden than in US (mostly due to taxes) I think the price will be $10. I'm not really into SW but I'm thinking of getting this magnet set because of the cool hairpiece Dooku has, and the torso is nice also. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Oh, so it may be only 10$, though in America they tend to alter the price not to match for some reason. I think it's a bold move of Lego to put out the three currently rarest minifigs for $10. I hope they actually sell it in America! But maybe TLG listened to us. Maybe since everyone will buy it, they decided to lower the price and they'll still make loads. Or maybe they're bracing us for killer prices in the summer! Quote
Patriot720 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Or maybe they're bracing us for killer prices in the summer! Who knows? With the worldwide economic crisis, even our favorite toy may have to raise prices Quote
Derek Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Who knows? With the worldwide economic crisis, even our favorite toy may have to raise prices Wait. You mean they haven't already? Quote
Commander Flash Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Haha. Like that would ever happen Im sure venator will be 150 or less Quote

CommanderCody77 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Wow we already have 100 and more pages anyways back on topic if they release the mid scaled milleniom falcon I wonder what figs it will have, and I hope it won't be the same as the exclusive one last year whick costed 20,000 HK Dollars, about 300 US dollars Quote
Millacol88 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 No, I think its safe to say it'll be way different. The price point is rumored to be around 60 dollars, meaning that will be getting something much smaller than last year's. Quote

Bricks Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I've heard some people saying that in the upcooming set ''8036 Seperatist Shuttle'' is Lord Durk and not Nute Gunray. But now it's sure, that it will be Nute Gunray. Because the Star-Wars-Fan-Side: ''jedinews'', got a closer look at Toy Fair in the description of the sets: 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid: 2 x Battle Droid, Clone Trooper & Jet Trooper7749 Echo Base: 2 x Snowtrooper, 2 x Rebel Trooper, Taun Taun & Han Solo 8036 Separatists Shuttle: 2 x Battle Droid, Droid Pilot, Onaconda Farr & Nute Gunray 8037 Anakin's Y-Wing: Anakin Skywalker, Ashoka Tano & R2-D2 8038 The Battle of Endor: R2-D2, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Rebel Commander (clean shaven), Rebel Commander (bearded), Paploo, Wicket, Chief Chirpa, 2 x Biker Scout & Imperial Trooper 8039 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser: Chancellor Palpatine, Clone Gunner, Clone Trooper & 2 x Blue Senate Commando Greetings 'Bricks' Quote
KimT Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 Isn't that almost the same as we already know (and have in the first post of this topic)? Quote
