slimninj4 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 great I been wanting This yoda now for so long and did not want to buy that ship to get him. I am happy now. Quote
Bricks Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Isn't that almost the same as we already know (and have in the first post of this topic)? Yes, of course. But some members (I think one of them was 'Darth Legolas') said that the figure in the Seperatist Shuttle is Lord Durk and not Nute Gunray. This was just a ''counterevidence''... 'Bricks' Quote
KimT Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 Yes, of course. But some members (I think one of them was 'Darth Legolas') said that the figure in the Seperatist Shuttle is Lord Durk and not Nute Gunray. This was just a ''counterevidence''... 'Bricks' Aha! Ok, one questions remains though. Am I right when saying it has 2 battle droids and a Clone Trooper or is jedinews right when they say that it has; 2 battle droids and a droid pilot? Quote
ADHO15 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Yes, of course. But some members (I think one of them was 'Darth Legolas') said that the figure in the Seperatist Shuttle is Lord Durk and not Nute Gunray. This was just a ''counterevidence''... I did semi-clean this up with picture comparison evidence but I guess this sort of confirms it. Am I right when saying it has 2 battle droids and a Clone Trooper or is jedinews right when they say that it has; 2 battle droids and a droid pilot? I think it includes two battle droids and a pilot as the only thing to suggest otherwise is one picture from the Toy Fair (which wasn't the most well-organized event I've seen, at all ) but he could have just come from another set. Oky Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) I really like the look of those magnet sets. A really nice way to get some of those figs in case you missed out on the sets they came in. I guess TLC found a way to sell us sets with (almost) only minifigs after all. The watches are also nice, but I don't think I'll get any. Do you think the Adult Watches will come with minifigs too? 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid: 2 x Battle Droid, Clone Trooper & Jet Trooper Damn. I was hoping that both of them would have jetpacks. On the other hand, if the jetpack turns out to be just an airtank and not a new mold, I wont care. I've heard some people saying that in the upcooming set ''8036 Seperatist Shuttle'' is Lord Durk and not Nute Gunray. Lord Durk? Edited February 5, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote

Yeah, I think TLC make a big mistake for herself, but now we could catch them very easy Damn. I was hoping that both of them would have jetpacks. On the other hand, if the jetpack turns out to be just an airtank, I wont care. No, I think not. TLC want to make the fans buying more of the sets. And if they have such difficult new parts, they are also expensive... Lord Durk? You won, it's Lord Durd Greetings 'Bricks' Edited February 5, 2009 by Bricks Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 You won, it's Lord Durd Greetings 'Bricks' Lok Durd? Anyways ADH015 cleared that up a few weeks ago. @DarthSion: If you are serious about Onaconda Farr, you really need to catch up on your Star Wars trivia. or you're making a bad off topic. Joke. Not sure which! I think that the Falcon will probably have at least 5 figs. Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie and an open space. Maybe for a misplaced Lando? Quote
The Rancor Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I grow tired of this bickering of names of minifigures in these sets It seems odd that the Hoth set should be the same price as the Snail Tank set - there are at least 50 more pieces in the Tank set + expensive clone molds I would like to bring up the Home One set again. I'm not really a fan of unfinished bases (original Echo Base anyone?). I hope there are some good figs in there or possibly on Summer magnets - otherwise I'm unlikely to buy this set. I don't think I've mentioned this before but I am not really either a PT or OT person - I like both. The main sets I buy from Star Wars are usually sets from battles on the ground of a planet (+gunships). For this reason, I don't buy many ships Quote

The pilot would make sense, I did the info from the Toy Fair pics and I guess you're right about the messy setup Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) Thank you very much for the pics of these new magnet sets, KielDaMan! The two OT magnet sets are great! Perhaps I'll buy one of each, too, since 20 Euros for six SW minifigs is ok. It will depend on which other (SW OT) sets I will get and how expensive these will be - so let's see. Darth Legolas Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 (edited) On the Taun-Taun, it looks like the body is one piece with a hinge head that bobs up and down like on the horses. Though it is very possible it is one solid piece. It's also possible that the bod splits in two. Arms and legs are detachable, and the tip of the tail is the common tail piece. Commander Flash Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Might open for hoth soldiers to camp out in... Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Might open for hoth soldiers to camp out in... That's true, but look at the tail. The upper half is all one solid piece, clearly, and since it's the same part as the upper torso of the Taun-Taun, it's likely to be one piece. Quote
ROCON Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 On the Taun-Taun, it looks like the body is one piece with a hinge head that bobs up and down like on the horses. I'm gonna have to go with the horse idea because I don't think two large parts like that can combine to fit a little tail. Unless it splits in half where Han is (highly doubt it ) life the Lego Studious Jurassic Park Spinosaurus. Oh and to get it over with, using Darth Legolas' proof almost 20 pages back, there will be two jet packs in the snail Tank. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=RotciV Peace out. v(>,<)v Quote
Natman8000 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 It would be cool if the taun taun had a flap or such to put in a figure. Maybe there is one and luke is just hiding in it on the box art Quote
DarthSion Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Well i want to say thanks, that photo is very good quality, most of the stuff i have seen has been rubbish. But, DAMN, we got to wait till August, oh well guess it will give me time to save for the RSD, and Endor with 11 figures. Perhaps KimT you could copy that photo and put it into that other thread, i believe the last point makes it rather clear neither lego nor L.A will not renew the lego SW license. Speaking of which, i got the shock of my life last night, never seen lego ad before, over here in OZ they showed the RAS, looked kool. Quote
Corvus Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I'm dissapointed about there being just one EDIT: 'jet' clone in the Snail droid, but it's a fine set nonetheless, so at least TLC isn't relying on the fig to sell the set. Definitely going to get more than one. The shuttle is a definite must, too. Some parts might need modding, but Gunray is looking much better than he did in the prelims. sorry, I was just so excited and didn't looked in the other lists but please don't try to tell me what to do. I know that is a bad habbit of americans but it won't work for me! little toychef! Brilliant! He pays no attention to the thread and makes fun of someone because they told him so! Two in one! Quote

ROCON Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 We are getting two jetpacks. I think Mr. M got the thought of there only being one clone in the snail tank because there was only one clone in the minifig box. So what happened with the pirate tank, anything new Quote
