Erdbeereis Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Sir Von Lego do you know what figs are in the Venator? We actually know this already. The minifigs will be Chancellor Palpatine, 2 Senate Commandos, a Clone Gunner and a Clone Trooper. The description is on the first post if you need extra details. Hope that helps! Quote

Yes, we've known this for some time. One can always hope, though, that they would decide to include some more figs at the last minute. The price certainly justifies it. Quote
ROCON Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 So what set do you guys (and Ladies) think the July Brickmaster set is going to be. Hopefully it's a CIS Frigate. It would make a good battle with the mini venator. Quote
DarthSion Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 There's a link in the first post of this topic to the 2008 Picture and rumor topic.Read away Oh i thought that was only sets that came out, not ones that didnt. Quote
CloneMe Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Awsome news. Thank you so much. I just cant wait to see pics. These are all must get sets. Cant wait for the toy fair to come. Quote

I was kinda confused when I saw they're was a Clone Pilot for the first pictures then they're was a Clone Trooper for the most recent pics. Anyways thanks Edited February 8, 2009 by CommanderCody77 Quote
-JD- Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Endor sounds awesome! Does the AT-ST have an interior? Is the leg movement a power function? If so, that would be the best AT-ST ever! Quote
Patriot720 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Endor sounds awesome! Does the AT-ST have an interior? Is the leg movement a power function? If so, that would be the best AT-ST ever! If you mean NXT power functions in the AT-ST, then I doubt it. It's already pretty small, and has to fit a minifig. But if they did it would be so cool! Quote

Hi, no power functions, you can walk with the AT-ST by pushing a technic gear in tan (don't know why tan because the whole AT ST is in grey, perhaps it will change) in the back of the AT-ST. Yes, it does have a small interior, and chewbecca...so there is not too much space in there.. The bunker will include a commando place with three computers and a small place where you can hide weapons. The explosion function is really cool, they use the classic technic pring system small version. greetings Hendrik Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I would actually think a CIS frigate would be very likely for the July brickmaster, or maybe even the Malevolence. Anything to combat the Venator would make sense. Quote

ADHO15 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Thanks you very much for the great info Sir von Lego! Could you tell me what the interior of the Venator is like and what functions the Y-wing and Snail Tank have? Quote

Not a problem for me though, since I'm an American savage! I'm pretty sure a lot of the brickmaster sets turn out as exclusives in other countries every once in a while. Most likely they will do with Star Wars seeing as it is a popular theme. But you know, there's always a possibility of an OT brickmaster exclusive! Quote

The Bunker sounds really good too. Quote

The Bunker sounds really good too. To me it looks like it really contracts and extends do to all the technic beams, pins, and hinges on the legs. It looks like you can turn the knob and it each leg would snap up and down at different times. Quote

Do you think the faces on the Commandos from the Venator will be standard Clone faces? I hope they are almost the same except with a different eye colour. But I suppose a totally different face would be better as the commandos are not actually Clones. JD Edited February 8, 2009 by Jammiedodger714 Quote

By the way, does anyone know if the final Commandos have new molded helmets or not? The newest picture, showing plain blue Clones is officially now marked older than the others. So it could be a new mold! Is it, Sir Von Lego? Edited February 8, 2009 by Darth Legolas Quote

I really doubt it. They can get away with the clone helmet mold, and I think it looks fine. We need to cut them some slack, they have been more than generous with new molds lately, especially for headpieces... Quote

I don't care if they do or not, but the first, and oldest picture of Star Wars 2009 we have of the Venator turns out to be the closest to the final product, and in that picture, although it was blurry, it looked like a new mold. I checked on a clearer pic, sorry , it isnt a new mold , just a new face patern. P.S , congrats on becoming a knight. Quote
Millacol88 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I think the new senate commandos look great, regardless of their faces. As long as its not just a helmet over a plain black head like the stormies are. Quote
Bricks Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I think the new senate commandos look great, regardless of their faces. As long as its not just a helmet over a plain black head like the stormies are. I think they look too similar to an Clone. Just another colour? Such blue Gladiator helmets from BrickForge would be very nice... Greetings 'Bricks' Quote

Greetings 'Bricks' Yes, I think they are, just a recolored clone. They look accurate enough though. However, I still probably won`t get the venator, on account of the high price and low fig count. Derek Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 (edited) I know we are getting two new figures in the Venator, but I really don't know how Lego puts 5 figures in a ship that is humongous and calls it a day. If they put 2-3 more figures in it, I might consider it if its on sale. They could put Admiral Yularen, Wolffe, or even reuse some of the Jedi molds they made, like Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, or Luminara. I can imagine how expensive the molds are to make, and I think if kids see a cool Jedi in the set, they will make their parents buy it. I mean, what 8 year old kid wants a boring old guy? Even CW Obi-Wan would be nice, he's only in one other set... Edited February 8, 2009 by darthperson Quote
