April 28, 200915 yr Slimeface with hair? After all we have only seen him before with a helmet on and Lego are well known for including a helmet but even if the character has hair in other sets, any set it wears a hat or helmet in means no hair. Also: Inferno might be partial to a little cloning, maybe Slimeface was an early experiment?
April 29, 200915 yr Also: Inferno might be partial to a little cloning, maybe Slimeface was an early experiment? I like this theory. Though I hope my opinion is true, that is is a new character. Like how Saw Fist and Fire Arm (heh) were different characters but similar, I hope that these two slime guys are different but of the same Slime Corps! Batbrick Away!
April 29, 200915 yr I hope that everybody here goes to the new quarterly survey from TLG and states how much they love the Agents line and can we have some more sets after these. I know they are focusing on vehicles, but there are so many other places to go without being Alpha Team, which i never got, but the Agents line has such a great reference to comic books, anime, and old spy movies that there are more sets available. An outerspace set with a satellite to be retrieved and a small Agents rocket. with an cargo hold and detachable pod. An Agents base, similar to the Batcave, with a small helicopter to land on the roof, radar tracking for the Agents rocket, with a lock up for the baddies. An Inferno Rocket A Dr. Inferno helicopter base, somewhat steampunky-Skycaptain -ish, with the rotors ejectable for the "motion" part of these sets. A Dr. Inferno car, similar to the Agents, but a bit more sinister and small Agents Robot to fight Dr. Inferno's, or small jet-pack for the agents, not the heli-pack they have now. So that is about 5 sets more Keep this well crafted and identifiable line going!
April 30, 200915 yr But wait... why??? Isn't it obvious? So that Agent Chase (who seems to be the leader of the Agents) is distracted and Inferno can terrorize Lego City with his Mech without interference in the meantime! Good thing that Trace Fuse have the situation under control without the guidance from Chase. Slimeface with hair? Some good points. But like Natman8000, I like to think that SlimeFace's power is it to shapeshift, so he can form his head into the shape of that of Dr. I. The white part on his hair could be just foam or something that resulted from the shapeshifting. The cloning theory is interesting. But why would Inferno clone himself? Another interesting question would be: What is in those tanks on the helicopter? @lego hand: Those are some excellent set suggestions! I had the exact same thoughts! (kinda creepy ) In fact, I was thinking of MOCing such a Skycaptain-ish base some day. PS: Don't mean to be annoying, but... Any prices yet?
April 30, 200915 yr white part on his hair could be just foam or something that resulted from the shapeshifting.Another interesting question would be: What is in those tanks on the helicopter? First off his hair has Green streaks in it! Those containers could possibly be slime-bombs but if you look they have similar ones in river heist and even in a SP3 set called squidman pitstop! Weird...
April 30, 200915 yr Author Space Police and Agents will be my two big purchases this summer... specifically, Robo Attack. Do we have any prices yet?

Look on the box behind it, and you'll see it's Inferno's hair with black and green instead of orange. But I do buy that theory, that Slime Face or a Clone is used to distract Chase while Inferno terrorizes Lego city.
April 30, 200915 yr Oky, the hair is only white because it's a prototype! Look on the box behind it, and you'll see it's Inferno's hair with black and green instead of orange. Yeah, I guess you're right. Oh well, he's a shapeshifter. That's all we need to know. Space Police and Agents will be my two big purchases this summer... specifically, Robo Attack. Isn't it gorgeous? It's one of my most anticipated sets of the year! I always wanted some of those tachometer tile pieces, and this set is loaded with them! Do we have any prices yet? That's what I want to know too! If Robo Attack is below $50, I'll get it as soon as it comes out! Edited April 30, 200915 yr by Oky Wan Kenobi
April 30, 200915 yr Inferno clones himself to live on. What baddie wouldn't? (Just a pet theory of mine, mainly to explain away my extra Inferno figure as I have both sets he came in. A clone chamber/lab is a section I plan to add to my Inferno HQ). Price is no problem for me! Just as long as I have a chance to get the old sets before the noew come out!
May 5, 200915 yr Ok seeming as this got asked to move I guess I should move it. I wasn't sure if I should have posted them in the City pics thread so I created anew one. The title explains it all, just some new box pics of the agents 2.0 sets. Unfortunately they have confidential stamps so I haven't deeplinked them. Sorry if these have already been spotted too.Link
May 8, 200915 yr From http://www.superspielwaren.de/ a few new set pictures. Poorly no new pictures of "Random huge Robot". May 8, 200915 yr Author Isn't it gorgeous? It's one of my most anticipated sets of the year!I always wanted some of those tachometer tile pieces, and this set is loaded with them! I wish Exo-Force was like this set. I really like the aesthetics. Unfortunately, I doubt it'll be under $50. :/
May 8, 200915 yr From http://www.superspielwaren.de/ a few new set pictures. Poorly no new pictures of "Random huge Robot". I feel your pain. Does anyone know about the blond-tan haired agent? Agent Chase in disguise? Maybe? And I much prefered yesteryears small agent set. These are two crappy wheeled things! Edited May 8, 200915 yr by DoctorDude234
May 9, 200915 yr I just picked up 8937 Gold Tooth's Getaway, 8968 River Heist, 8969 4-Wheeling Pursuit, and 8970 Robo Attack at LEGOLAND, California today. They had these on the shelf as well as most of the new Power Miners and Castle sets.
May 9, 200915 yr *blink* blink* *rubs eyes* Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Be sure to do a review.

May 9, 200915 yr I'll do my best. If I were to review ONE set tonight, what would you want it to be? Robo Attack! Do you even have to ask?
May 9, 200915 yr What exciting news! I'm looking forward to your review! I wish I lived near LEGOland, I'm surprised they have the sets this early. Hopefully there will still be some left for me to review.
May 18, 200915 yr I missed this thread. Anyways, I'll post it here. :) I saw on TRU website: LEGO Agents: Aerial Defense (8971) I was all set to use my gift cards to get it. Then I noticed they charge extra for Hawaii and they charged the tax. :( $100+. Yuck. I'll wait and see if the local TRU gets it. I have a feeling they will and it'll be on sale for $100+ anyways. Anybody else USA state side seen the sets elsewhere?
