Lego12 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I'm in a bit of a struggle right now...... I have the pictures and I uploaded them, but I have to go to work, so, I can't post the pictures until 4:00. Will the raffle still be open? Quote
osakana Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 As I have only one set with me now, I present you PIRATE MINERS: Quote
Bricks Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Hope it's not too late! Here's my entry, the poor street rocker: Greetings 'Bricks' Quote
Ricecracker Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 That's very creative Bricks! I love the idea, and it looks great too. Quote
Holodoc Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 That's very creative Bricks! I love the idea, and it looks great too. The only thing is the expression on the face of the street rocker. I wouldn't give him any money with that grimly face. (Well done!) And polywen: I love your mecha! Great! Quote
L-space Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 (edited) WARNING; may contain nuts Well after a week thinking about joining, I finally finished my entry. "Music with Rocks in it" based upon the backcover of sir Terry Pratchett's Soul Music it features the Librarian (Be ware: urangatan, not a monkey) playing the piano, a troll playing drums, our hero on the leadguitar and supported by a horn. it may look simple, but you try finding the missing pieces when all is packed for the movers being chased around by your wife; "why are you doing this NOW?" Wonderful! (but Imp is a Druid's son he need white robes just me being picky...) Too bad lego don't do dark glasses that fit on rock monsters. Quote
Lego12 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 (edited) Ok, my entry is a giant superlaser which is going to blow up a rock city. Its not that good, though, but at least it'll get me in the raffle! Here's the superlaser: Here's the mini-scale rock city: Here's the superlaser blowing up the rock city: Enjoy! jifel Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 (edited) NOOOOOOOOOOO! Why did I get kicked of the computer? I have had all the pics up on BS, so I need to do something. Overview: Side: Angle view: Other side: "Jim, can you pass me the TNT? Hey, Jim! Are you there? HOLY CRAP!" I know pics are big, but my camerea was on smallest size, and I checked. gallery when public. link jifel Edited February 14, 2009 by jifel Quote
Athos Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Rushed around to finish this, but apparently to no avail... Oh well, it wasn't that good anyway... Its a rockstar... Steve Quote
Scouty Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 There was a lot of entries featuring a guitar. Nice figure though Quote
Asuka Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 A pretty terrifying little scenery and an interesting idea with that one arm of the skelly king. Quote
Quarryman Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 There was a lot of entries featuring a guitar. But only one featuring tubas But yes, a nice figure. Miniland-scale doesn't appeal that much to me, but I can see that it gives lots of room for details that can't be achieved in minifig scale. Quote
jifel Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 A pretty terrifying little scenery and an interesting idea with that one arm of the skelly king. Thanks. Its just a white hand, pretty simple. jifel Quote

Millacol88 Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Congratulations on winning those polybags! Don't go the CM way and sell them! Not like those rock monsters are worth as much as a chrome vader... Quote
