Jipay Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Woaw, I just order my sales and deals on shop at home. Hope you guys did the same. It's just terrific to see how good the lego company has been to us ( by us I mean europeans). Completing you star wars collection was easy with sales up to 50% ! I ordered spiderman final stuff for 25 euros instead of 69 ! Minis for 3 euros, slave I for 14 or 30 depend of the version :P I wanted to know if you bought some stuff before everything disappeared ! sam89 Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Well I'm thinking about what sets I can get. The Spider-man ones look great, but I'm wondering if that bridge set would take up too much room on my shelves. I might get Boba Fett's Slave 1 to go on my Cloud City landing pad, but I've already got Jango Fett's, so I might not. I was also thinking about getting Jabba's Palace and the two smaller Jabba sets since they're half price now. Or maybe I could get the Hailfire Droid? Oh, it's all so confusing EDIT: Just looked again and most of the Star Wars sets have sold out, including Darth vader, R2D2, the Stormtrooper, Jedi Defense I, Jedi Starfighter, Droid Fighter, MINI X-wing Fighter & TIE Advanced, Jabba's prize, the Flash Speeder and Boba Fett's Slave 1! Also, the Spider-man Final Showdown set has changed to 'call to check product availability' :( Quote
David85 Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Lego Shop @ Home in the States is not the brightest..... They have Spider-Man Action Studio with 244 pieces for $20, but they have Spider-Man Adventure Kit with three different sets (including the SM Action Studio) and 319 pieces for $18.50. Quote
Jipay Posted August 3, 2004 Author Posted August 3, 2004 Considering the spidey final set there was only 47 left at midday when I ordered mine. It seems that AFOLs are making a rush on those products, which is normal. Maybe by seeing this they will do this more often :) Quote
