March 16, 200915 yr They should at least make 16x32 Blue, Tan, White, Green, Grey available from the pick a brick website if they dont want to return to being generous with them in sets.
March 20, 200915 yr More please, and if possible charge less than $12 for a 32x32 one. Really. It probably costs them 50 cents (if that...) to make, and they go and charge $12. And the only color available is light grey, which isn't even realistic for any realistic creations. I do agree that they need some in more sets, like the new Krusty Krab, like mentioned. Not even just the 16x32, the smaller ones are just as nice, especially small city sets.
May 15, 200915 yr I actually prefer not having so many baseplates. I like the fact that the Medieval Market, Soldier's Fort, and Shipwreck Hideout are on normal plates. I find these to be much more useful than baseplates because I can't attach anything to the bottom of baseplates. Sure the road plates are good for kids with carpet so they have somewhere to drive vehichles, but I prefer brick-built SNOT roads (which are too expsensive for most kids)
May 23, 200915 yr I think I prefer regular plates. Baseplates are such an odd width in comparison to the rest of Lego. That said, they are rather usefull for some of my MOCs.
May 23, 200915 yr I think they should definitely release more 3-D baseplates. I don't have any as I started collecting only last year.
