I liked chapter eight, I can't wait to hear more about the "Agori System". Since this guy on BZP saved all the entries, my story will be fine. They'll announce the winners soon, I can't wait! Good luck with the sequel!

Wait till you read the epilogue......something "bad" will happen....(a shocking ending)

MAJOR EDIT: CHAPTER 9!!!

The group arrived at the edge of the Great Crater. Skralla checked the scanner on the staff and it confirmed that the next crystal was somewhere hidden.

“It’s already nightfall. I want to sleep,” said Berix.

“We have to keep going,” said Tarix.

Traveling down the crater was tough due to its steep sides, but they managed to reach to the bottom safely. But upon arriving at the bottom, they all heard a howl.

“Was that a Zesk?” asked Berix.

“Why would they be here?” asked Raanu, “They avoided this spot!”

***

Flashback: 74,250 years ago…

Skralla ran for her life. She heard rumors that Certavus was dying. Once she arrived at the Arena Magna, she could see some Glatorian carrying him back to Iconox.

“What happened?” she asked.

“It was an accident. Certavus collapsed during the match by some unknown infection,” answered another Glatorian.

Skralla took a hard look at Certavus. He was wearing a necklace of some unknown design.

Once they arrived at Iconox, Certavus was taken to his hut and was locked inside with a few Glatorian to fix him. It took an hour before they allowed any visitors or friends so Skralla went inside first.

“Certavus!” she cried, “Please wake up!”

Certavus finally woke up and barely turned his head to her and said, “My time here is finished. My debt is paid,”

“No! Please don’t die!”

“Skralla, my time here is up. You were the best friend that I know. Take this necklace that I now pass onto you. It will guide you and aid you in times of great need. Apparently, the necklace has chosen another apprentice and…”

Before Certavus could say more, he died.

“No! No! No!” Skralla cried. She placed her hand over his heart and continued to cry for a while. She wondered how did he got sick and who or what caused it, but it was too late to find out. When she finally calmed down, she carefully took the necklace off of him and put it in her pouch and left.

***

Present:

Skralla shook her head.

“Is something wrong?” asked Berix.

“It’s nothing. We’d better continue and find that crystal,” answered Skralla.

They ran across the plains to find the Crystal. When Skralla found the designated spot, they all begin to dig it out.

***

The 20 Skrall that were assigned to find the princess heard about the destruction as well. They wanted to go and investigate but the leader hold them off.

At some point, they found foot prints that led to the Canyons. It was all in various sizes, both Agori and Glatorian.

“Is this where they are at?” asked one Skrall.

“It is a possibility. If we can catch up to them, then we can ask them about the Princess,” said the Skrall leader.

***

Skralla kept on digging while the others stood guard. After a few minutes, Skralla found something.

“Is this the crystal?” she asked to Berix.

Berix took a careful look at the object, its color was brown. He took out a copied chart of the Ten Crystals and tried to see if it matches.

“Yes! It’s the Brown Crystal. It holds the powers of Weapon Repair and Re-ammunition on various weapons,” he answered.

But before anyone could relax, they all heard howls from everywhere.

“What was that?” asked Metus, taking out his sword and shield.

“I’m not sure, said Raanu as he took out his torch and ignited it.

The light from Raanu’s torch provided some light but only at a limited range.

Before anyone could cry out, some Zesk pounced on Berix, and Metus. Raanu tried to blind the beast with his torch while Skralla took out her “unnamed” launcher and fired a few spheres of light. But it didn’t help as much. More Zesk appeared, surrounding their latest prey.

“Any last words?” asked Gresh, as he fired a few Thornax launchers but the beasts deflected them with their tails.

Before anyone could speak, they all heard a whistle. Skralla quickly examined her map to see who it was and gasped! But before she would cry out, Malum appeared right in front of them, with a few Vorox.

“Your majesty, it’s time to go home,” said Malum.

“I’m not going back! I know you hate me and my kind! Besides, why should I trust you?”

“Because I was given this,” said Malum.

Only one entry in the contest got four votes, and it wasn't any of "The amazing writers of BZP". Who do you think it was?

OMG!!! DID YOU WIN????!!!!???? :oh3: :oh3: :oh3:

Here's chapter 10 anyway.....

Chapter 10:

Skralla gasped. It was her crown that she left behind.

“Why did you bring that?” she snarled.

“Your father wants you to return,” answered Malum.

“Now wait a second!” said Raanu, standing in front of the exiled Glatorian, “I forced you to leave Vulcanus and now you formed an alliance with the Vorox and Zesk?”

“Haven’t you heard? I took over their clan and now I can command them whatever I say. Now, let’s go princess or else I’ll make my friends do it,” said Malum.

Skralla looked at Malum bitterly.

“Not in your life,” she said, as she activated her tan crystal.

Before anyone reacted, Skralla and her friends disappeared. “Find them!” said Malum, “Kill them all if you must,”

***

Skralla and her friends reappeared at the Hot Springs. It wasn’t far from Tesara but it was already midnight and they had to find a place to sleep.

“Shouldn’t we just go to Tesara?” asked Berix.

“There is a reason why that this staff teleports us to certain places,” said Skralla.

“Well, hardly anyone goes to the springs at night,” said Gresh, “We’ll leave at dawn.”

Flashback: 55,000 Years ago,

Tuma and Starax were heading to Iconox. They were invited by Metus and Strakk to discuss building another trade route which involved using a valley between the White Quartz and the Black Spikes. It wasn’t an easy journey. They had to make sure they weren’t seen by a group of shape shifters. Rumors said that they were out to kill any Glatorian, particularly the Skrall.

It had been a few hours since they left. But along the way the mountains were unusually quiet.

“Why is it so quiet up here?” asked Tuma

“Don’t know. Could it be those shape shifters?”

“I think we should have taken a different route,”

But before they could argue, the ground beneath their feet began to rumble. Tuma and Starax ran towards the other side but Starax fell. Before Tuma could rescue him, the ground beneath Starax gave away and Starax fell alongside of the mountain.

“Starax!” shouted Tuma. He was shocked to see his friend falling for doom. There wasn’t time for grief, the shape shifters appeared and surrounded Tuma.

Taking out his sword and his un-named launcher, he fired a few spheres of light which drove some of them away. Taking this opportunity, he ran across the bridge and didn’t stop till he arrived at Iconox

How am I going to tell the others, he thought. That leaves me in charge now…

***

Present:

It was sunrise, a time for Skralla and her friends to move out. They left the springs and headed north, towards the White Quartz Mountains. Strakk suggested that they could all head to Iconox but Skralla refused to go there. She had a feeling that the Skrall could have asked the villagers to find her. She knew that she’d be Bara Manga’s Most Wanted but once this quest was over, they would all understand why.

Scanning for more crystals with her staff, she found nothing for a while.

“This is getting annoying,” she muttered.

“I heard that another crystal lies in these mountains here,” said Strakk, “Try pointing your staff there.”

Skralla aimed her staff and this time, she was picking up a signal. Activating the Green crystal, everyone hopped on and flew towards the peak.

***

Fero and his tribe of Bone Hunters were not happy. For the last couple of days, they found no princess or any traces.

“Should we head towards Iconox?” asked one of the hunters.

“I hate to admit, but that’s one of the places we hadn’t got a chance to look at. We’ll arrive there by noon,” said Fero.

***

“Just how will this crystal be at the peak?” asked Metus, “I used to explore those areas and yet I hadn’t found anything other than ice!”

“Sometimes, treasures appear from no where,” said Berix, “if you know where to look…”

“Did Tarduk teach you that?” asked Raanu.

“Yes he did, and usually his theories are correct!” answered Berix.

“I see something shiny!” shouted Tarix, pointing towards one of the peaks.

Skralla checked that area with her scanner.

“We’d better wait,” she said, “This snow storm has to slow down,”

“This storm has been non-stop for over tens of thousands of years! Chances are that it’s not going to stop now!” shouted Metus.

But he was wrong, as he said those words, the storm stopped abruptly. Skralla placed the others on a cliff and flew towards the peak. The White Crystal of Air, Water and Ice was sealed inside an ice block. But that didn’t stop her; she took out her “Launcher of Light” and fired a few spheres.

After a few minutes, she managed to melt the ice away. She carefully took her fingers and pulled the crystal out.

The crystal was stuck at first but being a Skrall gave her an advantage in terms of strength so she used all of what she had and finally removed the crystal. But just as she removed it, the mountain began to crumble. Thinking fast, Skralla used the crystal to create an ice block to keep the mountain stable.

***

The 20 Skrall arrived at the Great Crater but found no one. Atakus saw a few Vorox roaming nearby.

“Why would they be here? Hardly anyone goes to this region,” said Atakus.

“Where else would our enemies lie?” asked the Skrall Leader, “They were here, and somehow a few Vorox must have followed them.”

“I see another Glatorian!” shouted another Skrall.

Sure enough, Malum was spotted by the 20 Skrall. His eyes were filled with hatred.

“Chase them out of here,” said Malum.

The Vorox charged, while the Skrall charged down the cliff. If they can reach Malum, they can question him on the princess's whereabouts.

I have no idea who it is, I was just going to ask who you thought. After this, we still have the final vote.

Oh man....I don't know then.... :cry_sad:.... You should have seen how much "high hopes" I had...

Do you mean high hopes for me winning? You should enter your epic in a contest. I feel bad for people who judge those, having to read forty chapter epics.

I thought they chose the winner...that's how excited I was....especially if you will win!!! I don't know if I should...there's not enough "Love" in it...

But for sure, I might this epic a trilogy, haven't decided. Oh do you want to see a preview of the "Battle for Bara Magna"?

Sure. That's the sequel, right?

It's in the first story still....close though.....

I'll give you a preview of that and the sequel......

Chapter 11:

Back in Roxtus, Tuma was giving orders to close off any of the trade routes.

“Give them no rights to trade,” said Tuma, “We will not provide them anything since they are not finding the princess.”

Not far from the fortress, one of Skralla’s long lost friend, Belriax desired to find her. Though was not allowed to leave, she secretly packed her things.

I better find her…she’ll understand what’s going on…and then I can help her, she thought.

***

Flashback: 45,000 years ago…

“Ready Skralla?” asked Belriax.

“Yes!” shouted Skralla.

The duo jumped and practiced their fighting skills.

Skralla fired her thornax launcher but Belriax deflected it. She shoved her sword towards Skralla but she blocked it with her shield. They both traded blows between their swords. Skralla pointed her Thornax Launcher, not at Belriax but at the ground nearby. It triggered a small explosion which threw Belriax forward.

“Sounds like I win,” said Skralla. But Belriax was not going to give up, at the right time; she performed another flip, backing Skralla towards the wall. Skralla climbed up on the wall and jumped right in front of Belriax.

“You’re pretty good at this,” said Belriax.

“I was trained by Tuma for a long time,” said Skralla.

“I’m going to get some water,” answered Belriax, “You win this time.”

But before Belriax left, another Skrall was arriving with Atakus.

“Orders from his majesty, Tuma,” said the Skrall.

“What’s going on?” asked Skralla.

“The Shape Shifters had invaded our camps. Tuma needs your help right away!”

Once Skralla and Belriax returned to the campsite, there were several Skrall on the ground, killed by unknown forces. Tuma was badly wounded but was still alive.

“Father! What happened?” asked Skralla.

Tuma turned his head towards here and said, “Go…go find that ancient city of Roxtus. We will settle there as soon as I recover. I sent the others to go find it and make use of it.”

Skralla and Belriax ran, hoping to catch up with the other Skrall.

***

Present:

Belriax carefully waited till dusk in order to escape. She managed to get past a few guards but before she could take a step out of the city, a hand grabbed her. It was Stronius, one of Tuma’s most loyal Skrall.

“Going somewhere?” he asked.

Belriax smiled nervously.

***

“Well, where’s our next hot spot?” asked Raanu.

Skralla waved her staff around. It finally made a signal.

“It’s that way. It shouldn’t be far from Vulcanus,” answered Skralla.

“Well, in the meantime, I’m heading to check my people,” answered Raanu.

“You’re staying with us!” snapped Metus.

“Why should I argue with you? You aren’t even a leader of Iconox! Don’t tell me what to do!” said Raanu.

“I may not, but I’ve learned from several mistakes!” argued Metus.

Berix stepped in between and said, “Please. Every second that you argue brings Tuma closer to his completion.”

“Stay out of this Berix!” snapped Metus and Raanu.

“Well then, that’s probably the best idea that I heard from you guys,” muttered Berix sarcastically.

Without another word, Raanu left the team, heading towards Vulcanus.

***

Raanu returned to the village but was surprised to see what happened. A patrol of Skrall were guardian every entrance. He ran to the gateway but was stopped by a Skrall.

“Have you seen this Skrall?” asked one, presenting a scroll of Princess Skralla.

“No, I had not,” lied Raanu, “Never heard of her except in vague myths. Now would you please excuse me…I have to check up on my people…”

“Who says that you are their leader?” asked a voice.

Raanu turned to see Atakus, walking towards him.

“I am their leader now,” replied the Rock Agori.

“You have no rights of taking over my tribe!” snapped Raanu.

“Well…when you snooze, you lose,” said Atakus.

“My village needs none of your occupation!” said Raanu, taking out his torch.

“Arrest him!” shouted Atakus.

Before Raanu could escape, a Skrall grabbed him and took him into one of the cages.

***

Not far away, Skralla and her friends were by one of the lava flows. Nearby was the next crystal; the Red Crystal of Strength and Agility.

“I see it!” shouted Skralla.

The crystal was in the center of a small island, in a lake of lava. Skralla activated her crystal of flight and flew across. But the task seemed harder than what she expected; the crystal was protected by some unknown force that was keeping the crystal in place.

“I can’t get it out!” she shouted. She tried using her Launcher of Light but it didn’t seem to faze the barriers. She tried using the shield by spinning it fast enough like a saw but it did nothing to take the crystal out.

Patience, Patience, she thought. This time she carefully placed her hand on top of it and gently pulled it out. This time, it loosened and eventually was freed from its bonds. But before she could react, the island was sinking. If she wasn’t quick enough, she would smother to her death. She activated the green crystal and flew away, returning to her friends.

“Got it! Has anyone seen Raanu since he left?” asked Skralla.

None of the others seemed to answer.

“Was he captured by the Bone Hunters, possibly?” asked Berix.

“Or was he captured by the Skrall?” asked Gresh.

“We’d better head to Vulcanus and find him,” said Tarix.

“Wait! If the Skrall are there, then how am I supposed to enter inside?” asked Skralla.

“The Tan Crystal of Invisibility can do that,” answered Berix.

“Oh right…I forgot about that,” said Skralla.

When they got closer to Vulcanus, they saw several Skrall stationed there. What really shocked them was seeing several cages, imprisoning a number of innocent Agori.

“Got any ideas?” asked Metus.

Okay...good luck....     You have my vote, let's hope you win!!!!

I'm about to post ch. 12

Chapter 12:

Raanu was stuck inside a cage. Next to him was another Agori, Kyry.

“How did this happen?” asked Raanu.

“Well…without you being here, we were told by the Skrall to either help find their “so-called princess” or to suffer inside these dirty cages,” answered Kyry.

***

“Ready?” asked Skralla.

The others nodded. Gresh, Tarix, and Strakk fired their thornax at some cargo nearby to distract the Skrall guardians.

Skralla turned invisible through the powers of her staff and ran to find the Agori. The others carefully followed her.

***

Flashback: 20,000 Years ago…

Skralla stood in the center of the Roxtus Arena, hearing thousands of cheers from the Skrall. The day has come and she was finally inaugurated. Her father presented her a crown, made out of Exsidian, and several rare crystals.

“I made this a long time ago. Now it shall be passing onto you,” said Tuma, placing the crown on Skralla.

The Princess of the Skrall smiled, she was now able to take the title of princess and can finally find a mate someday soon.

Though her heart wanted Certavus, she knew that it was time to move forward.

“I now announce you, Princess of the Skrall!” shouted Tuma.

The Skrall cheered but it didn’t last that long. Then one shouted, “They’re coming!”

“Sound the alarms!” responded Tuma.

Everyone evacuated to their huts, tents and any hiding spots. The shape-shifters were on their way.

“Father, when do you think they’ll stop coming?” asked Skralla.

“I don’t know…” answered Tuma, “We have to do something about it.”

Stronius approached and whispered a message to Tuma.

“What?” snapped Tuma, “It’s not them, who is it?”

But before he could answer, a rouge tribe of Vorox were entering in Roxtus.

“Now this is a problem here,” muttered Tuma, “What’s worse is that they’re rouge, not those other types that prefer to live in the wastelands,”

But he was wrong, one of them transformed into a Skrall.

“It’s them!” shouted Skralla, racing towards the fortress.

Tuma and Stronius fired a few Thornax and ran with Skralla into the fortress. They were running out of time and had to hide before any of the beings discovered them.

***

Present:

It took several minutes but Skralla and the others found Raanu.

“Get me out of here!” shouted the Agori.

But another Skrall was coming in, attacking the newcomers.

“What brings you to Vulcanus?” asked the Skrall, aiming his launcher.

But before anyone took action, Skralla activated her staff, teleporting Raanu, herself and the others to safety.

“They escaped!” shouted the Skrall.

***

The team reappeared not far from the Sea of Liquid Sand.

“Now what?” asked Raanu.

“Stay together, keep your mouths shut and try not to get attacked,” said Skralla.

***

Later...

“This is getting crazy!” said Gresh, “We searched for hours finding all the crystals and yet there are still some out there!”

“Um, Gresh, I don’t know if this is good, but I see something in the sky,” replied Strakk, pointing at a flying object.

The Kanohi Ignika, the Mask of Life flew for days in the Wall of Stars. Inside the mask housed a living spirit named Mata Nui.

Well…at least I am alive, thought the Great Spirit.

***

Should we follow it?” asked Tarix.

“It’s probably just rock and debris,” said Gresh.

“No it’s not!” said Metus, “That object was glowing bright.”

“Then we better follow it,” said Skralla, activating her crystal of flight. Everyone hopped on and flew across the wastelands, following that object.

***

The Ignika flew faster as it approached a barren desert.

What is this place, thought Mata Nui. Will I be able to find my universe?

But before he could answer, the Ignika crashed into the sands, causing a small explosion.

***

“Whoa! That object was sure explosive, it’s probably just a gigantic thornax,” said Berix.

“No it’s not!” snapped Raanu. I can still see it.

“What is that?” asked Skralla.

“I don’t know what that is or how it got here, but it’s probably just another useless hunk of metal,” answered Gresh.

“But still,” said Berix, “I think that object has some value to it,”

“Quiet!” snapped Tarix, “Look.”

***

The Mask of Life began to levitate and scanned its surroundings. Seeing that it had nothing better to do, Mata Nui called forth on the mask to create its own body.

Particles of sand and rock begin to swirl around the kanohi, forming a shape similar to a Toa. Once it was finished, the body stood up and looked around. Mata Nui frowned, he needed a weapon, so he called forth on the Ignika again, creating a weapon for his own protection.

Toa…thought the Great Spirit, Toa Mata Nui.

“That is some weird object,” muttered Tarix.

“That object is alive!” shouted Metus.

“Shh!!!” said Berix, “You might scare him.”

***

Mata Nui turned to the sound of that voice but couldn’t find anyone. He began to walk slowly, checking along the way to make sure no one was following, and then continued.

“For a Glatorian, or whoever he is, he appears powerful,” said Strakk.

“But what’s with the mask?” asked Metus, “I can feel its power radiating,”

That being has powers as well, thought Skralla, carefully hovering above him.

The others carefully followed him, trying to avoid being seen. Who knows what could happen if they were caught by this newcomer.

***

Mata Nui heard someone following him. He continued to walk then turned suddenly, weapon at the ready.

The beings in front of him flinched and stood still.

I should question them, they can give me some answers, he thought, or else...

“Who are you?” asked Tarix, “Speak or suffer, stranger.”

“I am Mata Nui, Toa of Life,” answered the Great Spirit.

Skralla and her friends were confused on the word “Toa”. They never heard such a vocabulary.

“What’s a Toa?” asked Gresh.

Wow, you're really on a roll! Three chapters in one day!

Make that four chapters....LOL!!! (Okay...I swear that this is the last one for the day....I'll post more later.....)

Chapter 13: (BTW...we are close to the end!!!)

Mata Nui stared hard at the newcomers and replied, “Then what are you exactly?”

“Strakk, Skralla, Tarix and I are called “Glatorian”,” said Gresh.

“I am an Agori, Berix,” replied the smaller being, “These are my friends, Raanu, and Metus.”

“Could you explain what a “Toa is?” asked Tarix.

“A Toa, is a term for the word, hero. He commands an elemental power as well as a mask power,” replied Mata Nui, “And what is a Glatorian? What is an Agori?”

“Glatorian is a job given to people like us,” answered Tarix, “The Agori are the civilians of the six villages; Roxtus, Tajun, Tesara, Vulcanus, Atero, and Iconox. But apparently, the Skrall destroyed Atero just a while back.”

“And the Skrall are?” asked Mata Nui,

“A type of Glatorian,” answered Skralla, “I am the Princess, Skralla.”

***

News was spread about a flying object across the sky all over. Tuma was skeptical about this object.

“Go find that object and bring it back. Let it be another part of my collection,” he said to his Skrall.

“And what you do with it?” asked the Skrall Leader.

“I’ll make use of it,” said Tuma. If that object is a threat, then it’ll be destroyed. If it’s the answer to our problems, then I’ll find a way to enhance it, he thought.

***

Flashback: 9,500 years ago.

“What?” snapped Skralla.

“Like I said, I don’t want you to travel too much. Just stay a home a bit more often. You’ll be safe here,” said Tuma.

“But what about my friends?”

“Then invite them. Let them come on over and visit this grand palace,”

“But father, I was doing fine. It’s their fault for doing this!”

“I know. So to prevent another attack, I’m limiting your powers just a bit. It won’t last forever, just promise me.”

“Alright, but only for so much time, you know how active I am.”

Skralla left Tuma, heading back to her room.

Skralla couldn’t believe what has happened over the course of time. She was just having fun being with her new friends, from the fiery village of Vulcanus, to the sub-zero world of Iconox. But then those nasty shape-shifters reappeared and tried to attack them. Luckily they narrowly escaped by going through a secret passageway towards Tesara.

But when Skralla returned, her father was so worried that the next day, he posted some new rules over the village and restricted his daughter a few rights.

What am I going to do, he thought. There had to be a way to stop this threat, he couldn’t stand it no more. This raid of the shape-shifters had to stop once and for all.

The Agori-Glatorian System of course, thought Tuma. My Skrall should start following those rules. I heard that they were easy to follow. If we gain enough power, I can take over Bara Magna and put an end to this threat! Then I can give Skralla the power to control the Skrall, once she finds a mate.

Tuma began to smile, wickedly. He knew that this will bring a major changed to the Skrall, perhaps forever.

***

Present:

“Any sign yet?” asked Berix.

“No, not yet, I can’t seem to pick up a signal of the next crystal,” answered Skralla.

“What crystal?” asked Mata Nui.

“There are Ten crystals that she must find, if she wants to save her kingdom,” said Tarix, “Her people are corrupted and are a threat to our people.”

“Makuta?” said Mata Nui.

“What?” asked Raanu, “A Makuta?”

“It’s nothing, never mind. This isn’t my world that I once reined,”

“What did you rule?” asked Skralla.

“The Matoran Universe, I was a gigantic robot, called Mata Nui. Now my mortal enemy, Makuta Teridax took root of it and kicked me out, destroying my citizen’s final hope for salvation.”

Skralla took noticed on what he said. The words of a gigantic robot seemed very familiar. Somehow she knew something about it but it was stuck in the back of her head. But before she could think, she tripped over a rock.

“Princess, are you alright?” asked Berix.

“Yeah, just a little dizzy there,” she answered.

“What is this?” asked Metus, presenting the object that Skralla tripped over.

Berix gasped, it was something that he forgot to explain. He took out his book and scanned several pages.

“It’s called the Stone of Stars. It’s one of the four stones that Skralla must find. Unlike the crystals, she does not have to find them, they come to her.”

“Great. Sounds like I’m not challenged enough,” said Skralla.

My entry didn't even make the runners up...

*Moment of Slience* (5 seconds)

I don't know how I can cheer you up but here's chapter 14....(it's the last chapter before the war!!!)

Chapter 14:

Unknown Location

“Did you find them?” asked one being.

“No. But I kept track of them. We have to hurry. Did you get the rest of the crystals?” asked the female being.

“Yeah, it’s all here for her,” he answered, “Go get the others and find them. Bring them here to safety. The Reign of the Skrall is getting worse everyday.”

“Do you think that we’ll be able to fight back?” asked another being.

“When Skralla receives full power, yes. Oh did you see that flying object last night?”

“Yeah, I saw it, I can tell it’s full of powers that we don’t have. We have to find that as well,”

“Then it’s settled,” said the female being. “We’ll head off and find them while you prepare their resting mats.”

***

Wastelands...

“Are there any coming?” asked Skralla.

“No but I see someone following us!” said Metus.

“Where?” asked Gresh, “I don’t see him,”

But before anyone could react, a rain of thornax were shot down at them, knocking them unconscious.

***

Skralla’s Dream:

Cries of the Glatorian and Agori filled the city of Roxtus. Her father stood in the central town square, ordering the Skrall to execute them all.

“You see Skralla,” I created an empire. “The Threat has ended! You failed to stop me and my Skrall..."

But before Skralla could say anything, she was in a different world, a place full of darkness. In front of her was a being that she never heard about. It was carrying her necklace!

Skralla tried to retrieve it but the dark being threw here across the void. She tried to get up but the floor kept her pinned.

Skralla screamed…

***

Fortress of the G'Legends

Her scream woke everyone up. But they weren’t at the canyons; they were instead in a mysterious place. It looked a lot like Tesara but it was also a lot like Tajun.

“It’s alright,” said the female being, “You are safe now.”

“Where are we? Who are you?” asked the princess.

“I am Kiina. These are my friends, Gelu, Ackar, and Vastus. We are the Glatorian Legends,”

“But what was that dream?” asked Skralla.

“What was it about?” asked Vastus.

“Why should I explain? I’m too afraid to tell about it!” said Skralla, still shaking from her nightmare.

“It’s alright. You can tell me later,” said Kiina. She turned to her teammates and said, “Now who is that being with that powerful mask?”

“I don’t know,” said Ackar, “It came from another world entirely,”

“You mean this?” asked Mata Nui.

The G’Legends turned to see Mata Nui, standing up, pointing to his mask.

“This is the Kanohi Ignika, or the Mask of Life, a powerful mask,” answered Mata Nui.

“I see,” said Kiina, “Well then, you are?”

“Mata Nui,”

“And you are from?”

“The Matoran Universe; I was once the ruler but I was kicked out by a powerful being, a Makuta. His name is Teridax,”

“Well then. We can possibly help you get you back,” said Gelu.

“But we need your help,” replied Vastus.

Kiina approached to Mata Nui and explained the situation about their plan to invade Roxtus. When she was done, Mata Nui answered, “I’ll do it. But as long as I may return home, I’ll help you guys.”

Skralla finally stood up and looked around.

“Here,” said Ackar, presenting her with a bag, “You might need these.”

Skralla opened up and inside was the rest of the Crystals and the stones.

“But how?” began Skralla.

“Don’t worry how,” said Ackar, “We have an invasion to prepare for,”

***

Tuma heard rumors that Skralla somehow disappeared. He had enough of these excuses. Believing that there all lies, be began to dispatch three troops of 500 Skrall to invade the rest of the villages. Atero and Vulcanus were all his but still had to take over Iconox, Tajun and Tesara.

“Go to their leader and kill them. If there is no leader, then capture all of the Agori send them to the Wastelands,” he ordered.

***

Flashback: Two weeks ago…

Skralla tiptoed across the hallway. She wanted to hear what Tuma was up to. She was majorly depressed for the past few years. Just a while back, Tuma dictated a speech to everyone in Roxtus about his evil plans. Though she didn’t admit it, she was against it. She knew that it would only worsen the condition here in Bara Magna.

Skralla gasped, she could hear her father saying something about letting an Agori to be free but later be captured by the Bone Hunters. She carefully ran back and wrote in her diary.

Dear Diary, Today my father has planned to set an Agori free, but get capture by the Bone Hunters. He plans to let the hunters do all the work for the invasion of Tajun. I want to go out and stop this, but he forbids me to even leave this palace. I’ve haven’t seen Belirax for a long time!

Tears flow from her eyes. She knew that she will have to take action.

I can only hope…she thought.

Skralla went to her bed and rested, she wished that a miracle could happen but at this rate, asking for one was impossible.

***

Present:

Skralla placed the rest of the crystals to her staff, but kept the stones in her pouch.

“Now remember, head to the shrine while we fight in the battle. Ask to your ancestors about the stones. They should tell you what to do next to save your people. We’ll take as many Glatorian and Agori as we can,” said Kiina

“But what about the Vorox and Malum?” asked Raanu.

“Don’t worry. Malum is here,” said Vastus.

Out of the shadows, the exiled Glatorian looked around.

“You,” said Skralla angrily, pointing her staff, “You dared to capture me!” she began but Kiina and Gelu backed her away.

“It’s alright. He swears that he won’t capture you, after all, you are returning to Roxtus,” convinced Kiina.

“What about the Vorox?” asked Skralla.

“Don’t worry, they are fine. Malum has told them to invade Roxtus, when we are in the midst of the war,” said Vastus.

***

The Skrall successfully took over the other villages, much to Tuma’s pleasure. He knew that once that the Glatorian and the Agori surrender, it’ll be all over. The planet of Bara Magna will be his and no one will dare to stop him.

If Skralla is alive, she’ll never be able to fight back, he thought.

“Your majesty, they all disappeared!” shouted one of the Skrall.

“What do you mean?” asked Tuma.

“The other Glatorian and Agori were not in their villages when our troops got there. They somehow disappeared!”

“Well, why? Were they afraid to be in our power?” asked Tuma.

“I cannot explain. We don’t know what happened,” answered the Skrall.

“Oh well. At least that’s more room for us!” answered Tuma.

***

“Is this all of them?” asked Skralla, looking at all of the Glatorian and Agori.

“It should be,” said Kiina, “Now that they’re safe, we can prepare for battle.”

“How are we going to get this done quickly? We don’t have much time left!” snapped Ackar.

“Don’t worry. It’s not about the time, it’s about how we get the Skrall to stop their reign,” answered Gelu.

“Then what are we suppose to do?” asked Strakk.

“We are going to divide into teams,” said Vastus, “Ackar and I will take a league with us.”

“Skralla, and Mata Nui,” said Kiina, “You’ll take a handful of Glatorian and Agori with you as another League, “As for Gelu and I, we’ll take who ever is left,”

“Together, we shall strike at the Skrall!” said Skralla.

Everyone cheered. The time was drawing near…the Battle for Bara Magna was about to begin…

Don't worry about it....

Welcome to Chapter 15: Battle for Bara Magna

Part I

Mata Nui and Skralla stood on a cliff; they had already formed an army of Glatorian, Agori, and the G’ Legends. Now they are waiting for the right time to strike.

Below, the army had practice their fighting skills. Mata Nui taught them some new skills that none of them knew about, such as playing dead, then strike when your enemy is about to get you.

Berix came up to them and said, “Princess, Mata Nui, we are ready!”

“Good,” said Skralla, “Now all we have to do is to create a distraction,”

She aimed her staff towards the sky, and fired a blast of energy, changing the course of the weather. She summoned a thunderstorm over Roxtus.

***

“Why is it raining now? It’s dry season!” snapped Tuma.

“I don’t know! Maybe the weather has gone insane!” said the leader.

For the past few weeks, Tuma had sent over hundreds of Skrall to various villages to kill all the Glatorian and Agori but they all disappeared.

“Go gather the Skrall and meet me back here. We will plan for full invasion all over and take over all villages, whether they are out there or not,” said Tuma, sharply.

***

At the outskirts of Roxtus, the massive army divided up into three segments. Segment One which was led by Mata Nui and Skralla were to invade Roxtus from the front entrance. Segment Two, led by Ackar and Vastus were to invade from the west entrance. Segment Three, led by Kiina and Gelu were to invade from the south entrance.

One of the Agori spies, Kyry came up to Skralla and said, “They are all at Tuma’s fortress. We should strike soon, if not, now.”

“Then we shall begin the war!” said Skralla.

Skralla’s and Mata Nui’s segment charged inside first. The others were waited until they were called for help. The battle has begun…

***

The village of Roxtus began to rumble, then they could hear thousands of beings attacking their village.

“What’s that noise?” asked one of the Skrall.

Tuma and his Skrall heard a loud noise of Glatorian, charging into the village. Ahead, they could see an army of Glatorian and Agori. But that didn’t shocked Tuma. He knew that they would come.

“Look! It’s Skralla!” shouted another Skrall.

Tuma gasped, he saw his daughter along with a yellow being, side by side. He growled and said to his armies, “I have no interest in prisoners, kill them all!”

The Skrall charged, aiming their Thornax launchers but Skralla already set up a force field to protect her, Mata Nui and the army behind them. Then Skralla set her staff into flight mode and flew towards the fortress.

Tuma couldn’t believe what has happening, already the first wave of his Skrall were falling to the powers of that yellow being. It somehow proved effective to his Skrall.

Skralla flew her way to the fortress but it was proven difficult. Most of the Skrall were shooting Thornax at her, trying to stop her from reaching the palace. As soon as she reached the entry way, another Skrall attempted to knock her down but

Skralla activated the White crystal to freeze the other Skrall.

***

Mata Nui was having a bit of difficulty. Sure that he wore the Mask of Life and had access to use some of its powers, but there was just too many Skrall. In fact, several were surrounding him. Mata Nui carefully waited till one of them strike, then he vanished and appeared behind them and used his powers of the Ignika to send them unconscious.

I cannot lose; my universe is in the hands of that lunatic! As soon as this battle is over, I’m heading my way home!

***

Back outside of the village, things were getting bad. An army of Bone Hunters discovered the other two segments and charged. Vastus and Ackar spotted them first. Together, they led their segment to fight.

“Just how are we going to do this? Our battle is inside!” snapped Vastus.

“Sometimes, when you want to change the world, you’re going to have to make it happen,” said Ackar. He executed a perfect flip and knocked down a few bone hunters with the back end of his blade. Then he turned on his giant torch and used it to blind the Rock Steeds.

Vastus turned and used his Scythe to drag a few bone hunters and used it to knock down more of the hunters. Though his moves were tricky, the Bone Hunters were masters at predicting.

***

Back inside, Skralla already reached the throne room but gasped. Inside was another throne next to Tuma’s and there was another female Skrall, waiting for her.

“I’ve been expecting you,” she teased.

“Who are you?” snapped Skralla, aiming her staff.

“You know that’s not going to defeat me,” said the other Skrall.

“I know who’s going to be queen!” said Skralla. Instead of aiming at her opponent, she aimed her staff at a chandelier above her and knocked it down. It smashed her enemy but it didn’t stop her.

“Every blow you make gets me stronger,” replied the Skrall

Then the female Skrall charged, and exchanged blows between. Though Skralla had the powers of the staff, Belriax was much stronger than her.

***

Meanwhile, Belriax was in a dungeon. She was also against Tuma’s plan but was not as fortunate as Skralla. Belriax attempted to escape but was caught by Stronius and was thrown into the dungeon since. Already, she could hear a major battle outside.

But before she could react, parts of the ceiling collapsed. Included were another Skrall and Mata Nui. The Skrall was attempting to remove Mata Nui’s Ignika and try to destroy it but before he could do so, Belriax took out her secret blade and stabbed him on the back.

“Are you alright?” she asked.

“I’m fine. But we have to get out of here. Skralla needs your help!” said Mata Nui.

Before she could say anything, Mata Nui grabbed her, destroyed the cage with his elemental power, and both ran across the corridors.

***

Outside of Roxtus, Ackar’s and Vastus’s army defeated the Bone Hunters. A few were still alive but they retreated to the south, planning to regroup and re-attack.

“We’d better get in,” said Ackar, “I don’t know how much fighting that we’re missing.”

“But what about the others?” asked Vastus.

“They’ll come. Hopefully Gresh and the others are on their way too…”

Then, Ackar’s and Vastus’s charged into Roxtus, preparing to meet their fate.

“They’re going inside?” asked Kiina.

“Sounds like it’s going to get more serious around here,” said Gelu.

“To Roxtus we follow!” shouted Kiina.

Together, Kiina and Gelu along with their segment charged into the city, running into the battle.
