Morgan19 Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) 32 figures total: I'm especially proud of a few of them because they're my first attempts at sculpting and painting custom pieces: Nakko Chan, Polix Gartoga, and Merai (who I'd sculpted about a week before the Home 1 pictures came out ) are among my favorites. A big thanks to Kaminoan for his tips on getting started in the sculpting process! Mocha Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 wow those are truely amazing! I love the arc-170 clone pilot. How did you make the clone pilots face mask and all the custom alien heads? Good work! Quote
Darth Yoda Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 These figures are amazing... Although there aren't too many clones and the few that are, aren't very clonesy.... But they are making me jealous... Quote
Morgan19 Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) Although there aren't too many clones and the few that are, aren't very clonesy.... There were other people besides clones that fought in the Wars, you know... ;) And I'm rather proud that they don't look "very clonesy"-- there are too many ones out there that just take a regular clone body, Sharpie it, and call it a day. I prefer some variation to the idea. How did you make the clone pilots face mask and all the custom alien heads? The pilot's mask is just one I pulled off an action figure, trimmed down, and reattached to the figure. The alien heads are all custom Sculpey pieces I made, sculpted and painted. m19 Edited February 20, 2009 by Morgan19 Quote
AoNZ Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) I especially like your ARC Pilot. Good work. I haven't tried sculpting yet but it looks quite effective. Edited February 20, 2009 by AoNZ Quote
DarthSion Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 They are incredible, is scuply sculptures?, do you sell them?, id kill to see a Felucian. Did anyone else see TU-24 AEGIS and think Stewie from family guy. Whats a force pike?. Lol, it seems so funny to see a female lego character with breasts. I like Parovo Bomu. X1 Burst Droid looks like Bain from batman, but very kool. Lol, the linux penguins in SW outfits. Quote
pr0visorak Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Great job! Did you enter the contest on the kamonian decals website where you had to make a custom minifig? I am sure you would win! I love the clone pilot the best! Followed by the medic whom I think is a little too fat By the way are you selling them? Quote
General Magma Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Wow, amazing, they are damn awesome! How did you do this?! Quote
Future74 Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Great job! How do you get started with building custom made minifigures? Is there a manual? Whats a force pike?. Here's a link to Wookieepedia on Force pikes: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force_pike Quote

Bobskink Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 that Polix is great, asuming he's the same race as Zuckuss, cool gun aswell. The rest is good aswell, but i don't realy know these races. Quote

Morgan19 Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 Thanks everyone! is scuply sculptures?, do you sell them? Sculpey is a sculpting clay, yep. Lol, it seems so funny to see a female lego character with breasts. You got me there. ;) X1 Burst Droid looks like Bain from batman, but very kool. Understandable, given that they have the same head. Did you enter the contest on the kamonian decals website... By the way are you selling them? These were created because of the contest, yes. And I don't have any plans of selling, nope. For those interested in trying their own custom pieces of figures, the K.A.M. boards have several great stickied threads in this section on sculpting, painting, and so forth. I suggest grabbing the PDFs in those links and just starting to experiment! m19 Quote
