Another entry for the Job Muller's Contest going on over at classic-castle.com.

Wyrmtamer's Lair

The taming of firewyrms has long been a hallmark of the Galmesh people, and vital to their survival. By both tradition and necessity, this task falls to the bravest and hardest of the Galmesh men. Wyrmtamers usually work in a cave or burrow outside the village, to isolate the potentially fatal incidents that so often occur when breaking young firewyrms.

Ranulf has pioneered a new philosophy of wyrmtaming, emphasizing love and positive surroundings over the harsh discipline that is typical of wyrmtaming. Though unconventional, his methods have proven highly successful.

This is my first "full" MOC since coming out of my recent dim age, and I really had a blast with it. Before that I only really did Star Wars, so it was a major change of pace for me. So, um, yay for LEGO!

Update: Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I really put a lot of effort into the details, so I was glad to see that you all enjoyed them. I'm feeling the love. :classic:

That was so good! I laughed so hard!

It's a beautiful MOC with incredible humor in it. Everything is really good made and I especially like the bottle, the childish colours of the wall and the dragon baby itself.

I haven't followed the contest very much but as far I've seen I rate your MOC as the best! Good luck!

I hope to see more MOCs from you puddleglum, you sure got potential!

Thanks everyone! :classic:

I fiddled with something at Flicker yesterday that seemed to have broken the photo link, but it should be working again now.

*Could someone grab Dragonator?*

Seriously, this makes me laugh with that loud crying baby dragon. Look at the minifig carrying that milk bottle by that cradle, it is so puny and that is so funny!

Good luck in the contest!

I love the idea for that toy in the front right corner! This is hilarious!

Thanks! That is actually my favorite detail in the whole thing. :classic: Depending on who you ask, they are called "corn poppers" or "pusher poppers". Anyways, my son has one, and I got really excited when I got the idea for how to make it in LEGO.

It's so cute! The idea of a deathly fire breathing murderous cave dragon in a baby-like room with a little painting, one of those roley-poppey things, a teddy bear and a crib makes it hilarious. Now I wonder what would happen if you were to drop that oversized bottle....

Not to mention the cabinet... and you did a spectacular job with the cave wall!

Three thumbs up!   (This MOC was so good I grew a third arm...)
