YES! Yes, Lego, bring back the Wild West theme. Please! I'll do anything! ANYTHING!

Whew, little overexcited there  But if you're reading this, TLG, you have my vote :cry_happy:

Glad to have another EB member beotted with Lego Wild West here!:thumbup:

And great to see that so many people voted and commented in this topic - and that so many people are interested in WW!

So if TLG in the next years doesn't release some new Western sets it's their own mistake!

Great! It's only recently I got interested in cowboys and horses and canyons and indians and sunsets :skull:

Do you think it'll come out as a theme though, or as a Factory set? A theme hopefully :cry_happy:

btw how much does Bandit's Secret Hideout go for on bricklink?

I don't know since I bought some of the smaller Western and Indian sets in toy shops, some of the bigger sets when they were rereleased in 2002 but the most of the sets used (but in a very good condition) from Ebay. But perhaps someone else can help you.

If recently or not recently - that doesn't matter. :classic::grin:

(After the poll from TLG about one year ago whether we'd like to see Western, Animals or Robots - and where Western surely won) I could well imagine that TLG will test next year with two Factory sets if enough people are interested in WW. If yes then they'll supposably release a whole new theme in 2011. At least this was the course of action how TLG did with the new Space Police theme - last year two Factory sets, then one year later (this year) the whole new theme.

That's how I could imagine it works. But I might be wrong, too. :sceptic:

I really hope that we will not only see one or two exclusive (Factory) sets but a whole new theme (at the best with new Indians, too)!

Sadly , the western set were released during my dark age, so I don't own any of these.. but I love the bandit hideout and the fort legoredo seems so nice!

I loved the Western Lego alot when I was a kid, I used to have the Sheriff's Lock Up, Weapons Wagon, Sheriff's Showdown and Frontier Patrol.. Lucky me but to bad I have absolutely nothing left from it except for some wagonwheels, 2 baseplates, some plants, 4 minifig heads, 2 blue torsos and legs, a Sheriff's hat, the prison door and the Sheriffs sign from the Lock Up set

I would buy all sets if they were sold again or if they laungh a new western theme with high quality sets!

I recently got my hands on a complete original Bandits Secret Hideout tho, phenomenal set!

My favorite would be the Sheriff's Lock Up, unimaginable how many hours I was satisfied playing with that set, great playability and quality. I also loved the special bricks and the number off awesome minifigs the sets came with..

Thank you very much for your nice comments, TheCobra, gormadoc1, Dwarfinator, Guss and Peterz! :sweet:

It's really great to see so many Lego Western fans here on EB!

If now TLG denies that a new Western theme would be a huge success than I really would not know what I should think. :sceptic::grin:

And btw: Welcome to EB, Peterz! :classic:

Hello all, can I still post after 4 years?

I just joined EB and love Western. I've got all of the sets, some of the sets I got more then once.

I couldnt decide wich one is the best, but I do like the blue Cavalry soldiers a lot. I am making a Western layout and try to keep it in the original style. I just started, but hope it'll become a really big one.

I would love it if Lego ever produced some sets in the same old style, espacially a train set with train and station I do mis, and of course a Saloon. But sad enough I don't think that's ever going to happen :cry_sad:

The only sets I own from this theme are the Sheriff's Showdown and the Bandit Wheelgun.

Really unfortunate because they were all great sets. I don't even know where to start with my voting. :sceptic:

One thing I do know is that in the day when they were out, I was really in love with the Weapons Wagon, but couldn't afford it.

I don't recall ever seeing the bigger sets except in the catalogues. I could stare at those catalogues for hours though. What a great theme!
