Kaitan Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Love it! it looks just like the movie but I think you should change the Clone Wars R2 with the Old R2 That's actually the R2 I got with my UCS Death Star - looks possible that'll be the 'standard' R2 from now on - who knows? I personally prefer that Artoo, the old one's head decal is just too small for my liking! That looks alot like the moive. Love the light where Leia is. Maybe take a pics with some stormies entering the door Getting ready to fire. Just to tell you C-3PO's torso needs to be put on the legs. But the rest is too great to make this MOC look bad just because of C-3PO's legs. Yup that C3PO blooper really annoyed me when saw the pic! Note to self : make sure everything is pushed together properly! That red light is one of those red LED bricks. I tried to get a pic of Leia getting shot and captured, but that corridor is just too small -I basically ended up with a pic of a stormies back! If I decide to ever redo it (yeah right - I rebuilt this one twice before I got to THIS stage!) , I'll make a few more removeable walls to get more angles for pictures. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome and your kind words. I hope I can live up to your expectations :) Thanks again, Kaitan Quote
pr0visorak Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 That is incredible! Besides the great MOC, the pictures taken are excellent and are from unique angles! Great job and congrats on making the front page! Quote
liquidcross Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 This has got to be the best LSW diorama I've ever seen. Aside from the perfect build, the photography used to capture such classic scenes really makes it stand out! Quote
Courleciel Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Very impressive ! Nice work ! I like the minifig of Captain Antilles. Quote
KimT Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 This is a very nice rebel base you have here. I like that everything is so smooth and white. It is exactly like the one in the movies! Great Job!LegoKing Rebel base? Rebel BASE? REBEL BASE? What do you mean Rebel Base? That's not a base... Quote
Deinonychus Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Pretty slick there. I wonder how much work it'd be to build up the rest of the ship around it Quote

JimBee Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Excellent work, this is the Tantive IV that I've been waiting to see. It's really accurate to the movie, and the fun little details are great, like the custom Captain Antillies. Quote
