Yeah that's my thinking about them too. Also they are really expensive for what they are and I would rather spend that money on something else.

My local kmart has the tantive IV in stock for $259. I'd anyone had that set do you think it's worth that price?

It's not exactly a bad price, but I would have been hoping K-mart would have them on clearance by now  If you really want one I wouldn't advise against it, but I won't be surprised if they get cheap soon

Ooh the Tie defender is a nice price. Too bad there's better sets around though...

Has anyone seen the Castle Advent Calendar yet?

From what I understand it won't be retailing in NZ, but you never know, we may see it from some slightly more unusual source.

Hi all,

K-Mart's catalog says that the Hoth Wampa Cave is $80 so a good opportunity for those who want it I guess (Legoman :classic: )

Not a fan for it myself but just for those interested.

Also are the Series 2 only available at Warehouse and TorWorld?

Cheers for the heads up mate. However, I actully got got one a about a month ago for $75

It was still expensive at $75 I thought, but it is a nice set if you ignore the price.

As far as I know the CMF-S2 are only at Toyworld and Warehouse, but there may well be other places that are smaller I don't know about

Hi All - Just to let everyone know, Toyworld Coastlands (on the Kapiti Coast, Wellington) are holding a Lego Building and Display show on the weekend of 2/3 October. Its an opportunity for people to build their own models and bring them in to show off to the public.

The show will be held at Coastlands Mall in the vacant shop opposite Paper plus, near the south entrance of the mall from 9-5.30 Saturday the 2nd and 10-3 Sunday 3rd. There will be a whole bunch of rare and collectable Lego sets on display too (Hopefully the entire SW UCS line) plus building tables, competitions and Lego Movies on show.

Prizes for each age category and free giveaways too!

Last time there were over 150 entries, and some amazing models in all sizes and shapes. This year should be even better! Email coastlands@toyworld.co.nz for any further information.

Hope to see some EB members there:)

Wow Fishpond certainly have messed up pricing... Rather odd.

Cheers for the head up on the Wampa cave on TM, but I'll be passing. I don't really think I'll get a secound unless It's around than $50... And I have money at the time

Oh!! :oh:

I was looking forward to that. I wonder if I could go... I've been wanting to go for a few years, but It may be too shorter notice now. I'll check out grab-a-seat and let you know

If you need help with any of the UCS let me know, I think between us we have all of them

A shame I don't have any recent nice MOCs I could take... I guess I could have a go at putting my 32x32 Endor scene back together.

To Grab A Seat!

In other news, farmers have 30% off toys on thursday if your a cardholder (which is free)

I will of course be there again this year, so if any of you come along make sure you come and say hello. After leaving my castle throne room standing half-finished and neglected since MC2 finished last year, I'm trying my best in a last-ditch effort to pull together enough bricks to get it finished for the display by tearing out some of the blank outer walls (which were only really there so I could do interior photography for the game anyway). Hopefully I'll get it done, but if not then I might bring it up half finished anyway, we'll see. Not much to look at from the outside anyway, haha. I'm currently short by 16 of the 1x4 black bar pieces, not sure where I'll find those in time, and no clue about the roof tiles for the front.

Wanted : 1x Chrome C3p-0 Loose mint or bagged.

Anyone out there have one burning a hole in their collection?

Also : 1x White Boba Fett.

Cheers!

Anyone seen any Prince of Persia sets on clearance anywhere? I'm looking to buy them as parts-packs for Indiana Jones MOCs, and I'm sure they'll drop in price soon as the movie pretty much bombed.
