Gee thats a bit weird.. Welcome to EB Yeah, don't worry, there's certainly a few of us Battle of Geonosis is a K-mart exclusive, they're the only place you'll find it. It's a bit steep at $89, but it is an exclusive I guess

Don't forget to introduce yourself Here. As Legoman pointed out, Battle of Geonosis is a Kmart exclusive. I'd wait for a sale before you get it, as $90 is way to steep imo. CF

Anyway thanks again i'll have to check out the local k-mart though I wouldn't expect them to have exclusives so thats really interesting. Edited April 9, 2011 by Lego Pinocchio

Batmayne Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hi everyone Long time no post here but ive been checking in regularly... I keep forgetting my password lol I dropped by the Albany warehouse and bought a pack minifig series 4 and landed me a Frankenstein. Quite happy tbh, would have liked a musketeer too! Bought a Lego Batmobile Collectors Item from TM a couple of weeks ago(used). Luckily all the pieces were there and it was in fine condition. Quite a set really ! But dont know where to put it so i can look at it but at the same time sand o it doesnt gather up dust. btw, just found a box in my room with about 10-12 minifig series one in there. I will probably put these up on TM but want to know what the goin rate is ? around 9 cavemen a magician or two a crashtest dummy Cheers for the help.
Callum Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hey guys. Just started up my Bricklink store again to get rid of some of my unloved Lego. Currently available to New Zealanders only http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Stormcrow If there is anything you are looking for, let me know! Cheers :) Callum.
White Nun Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 btw, just found a box in my room with about 10-12 minifig series one in there. Some traders ask more, but they don't seem to sell as quickly.

Nikkiwi Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Bricktrain - Thanks for the update. How do you go about placing an order if you want to pay in $NZ by Bank transfer? Callum - would it be possible to have the minimum purchase amount for your store lowered? Thanks again for making your parts available to those of us who are in need...:) cheers Nick
Bricktrain Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Bricktrain - Thanks for the update. How do you go about placing an order if you want to pay in $NZ by Bank transfer? cheers Nick Hi Nick, just place the order and add a message asking to pay by bank transfer. I used to have it listed as an option but even overseas buyer would select it and it just made things difficult. Paypal makes it easier for me to spend, or rather to pay for what I have bought as I always seem to be buying lately. Cheers Paul.
jonwil Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Anyone know how much the bank robbery set is over there and anyone know of an easy non-paypal way to transfer money to NZ? With the rip-off price of AU$89 in the local shops, I am wondering if its worth trying to import one from over there. Although if the price over there is just as bad once shipping, exchange rates and fees with whatever money transfer method is used are taken into account, it may not be worth it.

Bricktrain - bank transfer please. My name is the same on bricklink. Callum - Hit me up on face book if you have any 2x2 dark grey tiles, i dont see any on your briklink and i just cleaned out gelo and bricktrain. and Dsenior on trademe never has any :(
jonwil Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 80NZ doesn't sound that bad, the only problem is the total lack of a decent way to send money across the pond without using PayPal (who I refuse to use for all sorts of reasons)

I was a bit annoyed that I left those 2x2 D Bley tiles in my store as I discovered last night my personal collection was almost nil (now is) so I am just ordering bulk of them for a stock in my store as well, might take a week to arrive though.
jonwil Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Credit card? If someone knows of a way to use a VISA card for this purpose (i.e. having someone in NZ purchase a bank & money transfer set and ship it to me in Australia) that doesn't involve PayPal, eBay or anything connected with those entities, please do advise me as I have yet to find such a service.

When toyworld are having a sale I call them and buy what I want with my credit card and can either have it shipped to me or they hold it until I go to the city. I dont see why they wouldnt send it to you over there, the store I would suggest as most likely to do so would be Toyworld Shirley, Chch, Ian was always most helpfull when I dealt with him. Also try Trademe, some sellers on there can do Cc, I made a sale to an Aus buyer this week but I used Paypal for his credit card.
