Was browsing through the Warehouse website and noticed that they have the 10187 VW Beetle for the online only price $149.99. Considering this is a $220 retail set, and is hard to find, this is a pretty good deal:) Offer ends 2/11.

Just went to Farmers at the Hub Hornby and saw the Winter Toy Shop (10199) for $120. :cry_happy: They also had 7x Dwarf mine defenders and 2x Indy Temple Escape set (7199) for $200.

All prince of Persia sets about 60% off in Toyworld

7573 $79

7571 $29

7570 $19

 I've been waiting for this. Do you know if this is for a certain period of time, or just until they get rid of the stock?

I just made a large order for more PoP sets, as if I don't have enough of them already!

From what I understand they got all the excess stock left in the country and are just trying to get rid of it now, but don't quote me on that.

Wow far out!

I'll be heading down there later, that's for sure!

Thanks for the heads up!

Get it before they run out - Looked like they didn't have a whole lot of stock, maybe 4 - 5 boxes of each set. (Henderson)

Sweet! Ostrich time :classic:

Haha, yup! I'd go for them, but man I need to save for the HP sets and SW sets...

Has Anyone got a second hand Cad Banes speeder or the 8088 ARC-170 or the 8098 CTT second hand for a tad cheaper? Im trying to save as much as I can...

Thanks and PM me if you do have any of them!

Any word of the HP sets in store's?

Thanks

If you are interested in the PoP sets, but can't afford them, try Lay-by at TW. I used it for the City garage and it was great. No fees, just a 10% deposit and 90 day to pay it off. Pretty decent

Are all the Nougat bricks made in China by any chance? They just don't seem a full enough colouring to be danish.

I went down this afternoon, and got 2 of each set. I'm not so much intrested in figures, so was quite dissapointed with the $12.50 set. But after parting out 1 of each of the sets, I think the deal simply comes down to the bigger the set, the better deal. I'll definately be going down again tomorrow. They bigger sets are absolutely great part packs.

While we're on this note, does anyone here want extra POP figures or Ostriches? I love the parts, but selling off the figs would make the deal even sweeter

Nope, they're all made in the standard factory as far as I'm aware. It's just a different mix of plastic I presume, it is certainly a lovely and unique colour.

Alrighty, I guess it's just the colour.

I keep thinking it's going to be the perfect colour for Geonosis

Wow those PoP deals sound great but too bad I spent my Lego budget this month.

Also on another note I found it interesting that on Trademe in the 'cool auctions' box on the home page that there was an auction for 20 Lego people highlighted in that section?

No special Lego men or nothing for charity so I am a little confused???

Anyway can someone tell me if the new sets of Lego come out before or after Christmas because I will need to know when to save and what not?

I can't remember when about they appear but it is close to that time right?

Thanks.

We don't usually get sets very early here in NZ. most 2011 Waves will start to show up in stores mid Jan through to early april, depending on the theme

If anyone is looking at getting some more POP sets, I'd hurry. The Big Castle (Battle of Almult?) thing has now sold out all around CHCH :sceptic:

And the Cave type set is running out fast...

It says they only have 1500 sets of it though so get in quick!

The one for $30 is normally the biggest (until 2010) ship size available. The $300 imperial ship is a send-off gift from the lego team for the pirate theme (won't be produced anymore).

Edit: Went to my 3 closest Warehouses - all were sold out :cry_sad: Ah well, you win some, you lose some

Good luck to everyone else
