Just a reminder to all of you that are in the Auckland region - the LEGO Show that was mentioned a while back is happening this weekend and Monday at Glen Eden Intermediate School.

The main feature is a train/town layout, but there are also a lot of Star Wars and TECHNIC sets on display, and a few BIONICLE MOCs of my own as well. :classic: I also saw what might be large A2 LEGO posters to be given away... :sweet: It's no Brickworld, but it'll be well worth going to see, and I'd love to meet some of you fellow Aucklanders.

Hey guys.

Just a quick question about the ToyWorld 20% off voucher a while back.

By saying 'applies to one product' does this mean 'one product' as in if I bought four Series 2 Minifigs it would only apply to one giving a total of $19 instead of $20?

Or does it mean one product as in if I bought four it would cost $16 as in the one product being the Collectable Minifigs?

Thanks just want to know from anyone who's used it and what it applies to.

I think it's just one item.

But I think k-mart has started pricing lego under RRP. They had all $100+ star wars sets $20 under RRP. Top that off with a 20% off sale and it's a lot cheaper (but they don't have one at the moment).

Yay! I was hoping this would come! Now for a sale! I'm betting though that they won't do anymore mark downs or sales towards boxing day. :hmpf_bad:

From what I remember the slave 1 was $169, grievous starfighter and emperors shuttle were $129 and the battlepacks were $17. So I'm hoping for a good boxing day sale there!

Went to the Warehouse in Hornby yesterday and was surprised to see Toy Story sets 7593 (Buzz's starship)and 7592 (Build a Buzz), both discounted to about half price  (7593 for $30 and 7592 for $25) but they were not advertised and the new price stickers had been placed over the original price stickers. They were the only two discounted but the only other TS sets were the Army men and Lotso dump truck so not sure about other sets. I bought one 7593.

Not bad, I just want the army men discounted, then I'll be getting afew!

Does anyone recommend I get This? Its cheaper then it would be on BL, and I've been wanting to get Cody for ages! And btw, thats my question at the bottom that has been answered.

Depends what you're thinking. If you want the Fig and it's as simple as that, then get it - it's a good deal. But there's a very strong chance he's going to be realeased in a new set some time in the next year or two, and the value will then drop. So it's up to you.

On aother note, lego S@H Has put the UCS JSF 30% off down to $140.

When the new sets are released, and they put more stuff on sale, would anyone be keen to place an oreder? If people are keen, please let me know, and start thinking about what you would want. The best deals usually sell out quite fast, and I be waitng for you all this year  Once the deals go up I'll probably be placing my order within 3 days, so be ready :classic:

Yeah your right, I'll see what happens with the auction. :sweet:

Went to Kmart yesterday and they had afew Blockade Runners, but I couldn't see any price. Also there prices weren't the ones that you said before Roncanator, they where still the usual $22 for BPs and so on.

Huh strange... I wonder if its only the Hamilton k-mart. I wouldnt be surprised, its in a terrible location and its always empty and it may be that they are just trying to move some stock out.

*huh*

That's unexpected. Isn't that thing like 3 years old? I never even knew they were coming to NZ. Very odd.

Did it include the green clone? If you don't want it, I'm keen  (that goes for anyone who buys one haha)

I went to the Warehouse in Riccarton today, and picked up 3 Zurg sets at $20ea. An absolutely pathetic set. Even at $20 it's edgy. Considering the rarity of purple parts and the Printed parts, it does help the case, but still. I would like a couple of Buzz's but they had none.

Also, was at K-mart in Riccarton today. Seems they're trying to clear some stock. Toy story and POP were marked down, along with the Titantive IV (finally!)

Titantive was $180

Battle of Alamut was $100

Western Train was $130

And thats about everything I can remember. Any other Clearances?

Does it come with the green clone pictured or the stormtrooper in the video? It would be really good way to get green clones

Was the Tantive IV $180?! Man that seems very cheap!

wow the tantive IV for $180? I should really keep on checking my local k-mart to see if they have any in stock. Did you get one for yourself?

Thanks for the tip Legoman!

I didn't get one, since I've already got it. If they go below $150 I might pick up a couple to hold on to/resell later though :tongue:

Disregarding the price, would you recommend the set?

That's a good price for the Tantive, I grudgingly paid the full $259 several months ago. It's a decent price considering the original RRP is $350.
