Are you still in Blenheim, I went to toyworld in Nelson once last year and you had just been there, the shop attendant was asking about my collection and mentioned about a collector from Blenheim and I knew it would have been you.

Have moved to Wellington in October. Went to Farmers store yesterday and picked up 3 of the 2011 CITY Police sets at 30% off :classic:

Went to Farmers store yesterday and picked up 3 of the 2011 CITY Police sets at 30% off :classic:

I'd better keep my eyes peeled now eh. If I can get the Battle of Naboo 30% off I'll be buying 4... At least! And a V-wing!

Has anyone seen any New Star Wars anywhere?

Did you see any other new LEGO sets in Farmers? The last day for the sale is today, so I'd like to be able to snatch a few new sets at that generous discount.

Toyworld Marshlands & Tower Christchurch have new range incl minifig 3.

Not on shelves till 4th (after there 20% off sale) though im sure armed with this information us Christchurch buyers can pry some from there hands. They let me have some police as farmers Palms and Northlands was all out, but i paid full price for minifig's 3. Seamed fair enough to me as they still had 2 boxes of s2 on the counter.

Could not find dot marking on there shipment of s3 minifigs so it was hit and miss.

I also saw Ninjago sets and possibly Star Wars. Can't remember what else as City related sets are my thing? :wink: It was at the Kilbirnie branch, nothing new at the Cuba Street branch.

Warehouse in Te Rapa has 2011 City (police), S3 minifigs and Ninjago.

Anyone had much luck with those stupid dots on the bottom of minifig bags? I've had no luck at all with them. Better off feeling the contents of the bags. Sigh.

Just checked out the Wellington Toyworld. They were putting out 2011 Star Wars, City Police and S3 minifigs (which have no identifying marks on the packets :angry:

). So Farmers may have had the 2011 Star Wars?

I just got back from Farmers Albany, and they had all the new NinjaGo, Star Wars and City sets. No exclusives though, apart from a Police Helicopter.

I myself picked up 3 Ninja Ambush sets with a healthy 30% off. You'd better hurry over CF if you want your Star Wars cheap! :wink:

Heya guys. Just got home from Riccarton farmers. They had nothing new there. However, I know one of the girls that works there and had a quick chat to her. They have just had a heap of lego come in and everything new should be out in the next few days. Also, there's not any real hurry - There's going to be 30% toys until the 7th or something :classic: So I'm not too worried. Once they're in, I'm thinking I'll get 3 Battle of Naboo's and a V-wing. That'll probably do me for the Janurary SW wave :wink:

According to the website the sale ends today, but if she was sure about the continued discount that's good to know. :classic: (I can also confirm that Farmers has the Naboo and V-wing sets priced at $50.)

There was talk of many Christchuch retailers keeping sales going longer because of the Boxing day aftershock. I doubt the rest of us will have this extended discount :(.

Nice to see we are getting them. I must go have a look in farmers to see if they have any cause at 30% off I doubt we will get a better sale anytime soon.

Sounds good, I can't wait to pick some of the sets up! 30% off is a steal, we hardly ever get that!

(I can also confirm that Farmers has the Naboo and V-wing sets priced at $50.)

Definitely have LBG, should have white but will have to find them, probably with a white project I have packed away.

Wow! :cry_happy: Went to Farmers and picked up both the Battle Packs for $17.50, and the Battle of Naboo for $35! Just made the BPs and they are great, the Mando one isn't as good with the vehicle and turret, the figs are the best part.

Going to make the Battle of Naboo after dinner. :wub:

Farmers didn't have Mace's Starfighter or Battle Of Geonosis. My guess they will be Warehouse or TW exclusives, like the Pirate Tank was for Warehouse exclusive only. Will have to keep my eyes out for them!

Kmart didn't have any of the new sets but they still had one or two Tantive IV for $140, so badly want one for that price but after today, no more buying for a month or two for me. :blush:

Sorry TinyPiesRUs, no sign of the Atlantis Temple (7985 City of Atlantis) at Farmers or Kmart up here in Albany.

The Warehouse has 20% off LEGO. They have series 3 minifigs which are not automatically discounted, had to get the checkout to change the price. The packets do have the little dents (dots) on the bottom but they are almost impossible to make out. :hmpf_bad:
