White Nun Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Makes note: 'No spraypaint.' Hey wow! Brick-Link is amazing. Sorry though it was just so amazing I bought it all and there's nuffing left Seriously though I did manage to find some really useful weapons and shields etc to stockpile for my soon to be recruited armies. After this I'll be looking for Castle fantasy minifigs and I'd really love to get a Troll and some Orcs. Being a wargamer it's armies first and then castles and scenic stuff second.

Im desperate to get my hands on both of them! CF What ones are the exclusives? I'm guessing the Naboo battle but I can't think of another? Also do you have an idea of price of these exclusives? Thanks.
White Nun Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 (edited) Hey fellow Kiwis, I've got a plastic bagful of Lego bits I don't want (not that I know what they're for anyway) and I'd like to swap them for w.h.y. in the way of minifig bits. Don't want money, - I'd prefer to do a swap if at all possible. Edit update: Sorry it's no longer available I gave it to the Sally Army this morning. Edited February 16, 2011 by White Nun

These two are: Mace's Starfighter Battle Of Geonosis They will most likely be Warehouse or ToyWorld Exclusives. CF

So where is the Battle of Naboo being sold cause I've been to K-Mart and Warehouse with neither having them so I'm guessing ToyWorld? Do you know how much it is and if it available else where, where is the cheapest to get it? Thanks.

It's RRP is $50 everywhere, but sales are always worth the wait. It's just a matter of finding one, It's by far the most popular / sought after 2010 SW lego set. P.S. Just a reminder, If anyone's intrested in some POP stuff, give me a yell. Got lots of Figs (including Figs still sealed in bag 1 from QAT) , even some sealed Emu's, And lots of special parts if anyone's keen Edited February 12, 2011 by Legoman
Bricktrain Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Is anyone doing or wanting to do an order from S@H. I need a transformer for my PF battery boxes I bought from bricklink but dont want to double the price by shipping it on its own. Let me know if you want something or are willing to add it to an order if you are doing one. Cheers

Like our beloved Lego, buildings can be rebuilt, but lives are irreplaceable. Take care everyone.

AoNZ Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Yes my thoughts go out to those of you in Christchurch. It's just devastating the damage that it's caused everyone
Delta 38 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I'm in the same boat as Lightningtiger. Best regards to everyone. (Yeah, this is off-topic, but still...)
Matt The Tuba Guy Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I'm ok. others obviously aren't lots of aftershocks (of this aftershock)! who else here is from CHCH?
fred67 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I'd like to add that my thoughts are with you New Zealanders this morning as well... I wasn't even going to hit Eurobricks (I actually work sometimes) until later today, but heard about the quake and, knowing several EB users from NZ, wanted to send out my condolences and that mine (and others) thoughts are with you.
CommanderFox Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 As im sure most of the NZers already know, the figure i posted before of 65 dead is wrong apparently. On the news it said that it is actually 38, so a small bit of good news. CF

CF 38 is the notified number, they dont count them until they have notified next of kin, so the 65 is probably the body count though there may still be more buried in wreckage. Still early days so we can only wait.
Legoman Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 Hi guys. My immediate family and I are OK. Definately much worse than the 7.1 in September though. Not much sleep last night. Hoping others are alright too. Have had friends staying with us whose houses are very damaged/totally destroyed. If you've got a moment for a quick prayer it won't be in vain. Cheers guys. Great to know people are thinking of us.
Nikkiwi Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 All our thoughts and prayers to those in Christchurch at this time
kiwishark Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Good to hear from the Christchurch boys Legoman and Matt. Take care of yourselves and the loved ones guys. Thoughts are with you.
