ColdBricks Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 wow 60% off toys...how did you guys hear about this sale? i will pop in today and see if there is anything good to buy my s@h order hasnt arrived either i'm guessing the end of the month Dont bother going in, the sale at Sth City has been going since Saturday, I went in yesterday and there isn't a single toy left on the shelves. It is CHAOS! There are plenty of Dvds and Cd's left. I've just seen in the paper that that stuff is now 65% off. Be prepared to queue and not find a carpark.

I won't bother going in today then. I wasn't sure if people would be put off by the fact it's an unsafe building and pritty much in town - But it seems people couldn't care less when it comes to cheap stuff I wish I had gone down on Saturday! Alex-in-Nelson Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Hey all, has anyone received their S@H order from the 'May the Fourth' promotion yet? I'm just checking some of the othe forums, and many folks around the world have recieved their items. I know the advertised time is '13 business day's, but from experience, this isn't too accurate. I really want my Maersk train!!!!! I just received my Medieval Market Village, shipped on the 6th, so exactly 13 days

Fatteh Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Thanks for the heads up on the Toyworld sale. Been waiting for a chance to get the Slave-1 at a reasonable price. Couldn't say no to Mace's starfighter for $45 either. Nice deals.
Grrr Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Did anyone else notice that the Lego shop returns form has their auckland phone number as 911? In any case, there is no way I'm giving my train back anyhow...
ColdBricks Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 my black trooper minifig aand poster wasn't included....anyone know the story about this stuff?
Brickthing Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 my black trooper minifig aand poster wasn't included....anyone know the story about this stuff? Did you order over $110 in Star Wars LEGO, or just general LEGO? If it's the former then it could've been accidentally not included...

That's odd - not to rub it in, but I didn't spend a cent on Star Wars and got the minifig (no poster). Definitely ring them about this.

Definitely ring them about this. ive flicked off an email...i had to find things to order to get over the threshold...ended up getting a whole bunch of pick a brick stuff.
harmacy Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I Emailed Lego today about my missing poster, and they have already emailed back with apologies and the promise to send one in the mail asap! Their customer service really is tops. On another note, I finished my Maersk train this evening, and wow. Just wow. What a fantastic model.

Fumoffu Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 i received a letter from customs today and they have my s@h order but i have to pay tax on it before they will release it to me has this happened to anyone before? the bloody tax is huge making the set cost alot more any advise? Yup. Happened to me before and I paid Customs and then complaint to Lego saying I thought their prices are GST inclusive and asking why then am I charged a second lot of GST by Customs. Lego apologised and refunded me what I paid Customs when I sent them the invoice. A small hassle but it all worked out in the end. I'll like to echo the comment that Lego's customers service is top notch. Best I ever dealt with.
