Has anyone seen 10193 in stores? I just noticed that two 10193 Medieval Market Village sets are being sold on TradeMe for the first time. Does this mean that the sets are being sold in NZ, or just that 2 sellers have happened to get the set from SaH at the same time?

I'm getting one from a store contact who has managed to get 4 in for his store, all pre-ordered. I'm not sure how widely spread the distribution will be, but I presume other stores (Toyworlds) will have gotten some too, so keep an eye out, and you may get lucky. :classic:

As a general note, Market Street will not be sold in New Zealand. My friend has been trying to get it here since its release, with no success.

Hmm... Nice spotting, heres hoping I can grab a couple on special if they do hit the stores. I bought one when they first came out - VERY nice set - RRP of 199$ is pretty good too, considering thats the same price as the Troll fortress abomination which doesnt even pretend to have 200$ worth of lego in the box. *Shakes fist*

I looked for Market Street for a long time and definitely no joy with the shops. Ended up getting one from Shop@Home. Lucky I got it before it sold out too.

I might be going to Sylvia Park at some stage this week so I'll check out the Toyworld there to see whether the MMV is available.

wow $100 is pretty good for the pod racer bucket. I dont like it how you have to dismantle one podracer to get the parts for another :sceptic:

Farmers have 20% off : Indiana Jones, City and Racers

Kmart were putting out some new stuff when I was there too.

You do?

I have a bucket but because I couldn't build everything in it, i assumed I had a lot of missing pieces, and threw it in my spare parts bin?!

Cool, the Technic Hauler 8264 was on sale last weekend, I hope they stock the 8265 Wheel Loader soon!

Just a heads up, TW tower juntion (CHCH) had Medieval Market Village for $220. Along with some space police... and some new technic - the new wheel loader, anyone?

Are you sure it's just those lines, and not all Lego? If the castle is discounted as well, I may need to pay a visit this weekend...

Damn, that's a bit pricey. RRP should be $220. I'll pick mine up tomorrow I'd say, for only $180 (10% off $200). :classic:

Kmart now has space police

Toyworld has an exclusive Space Police set (inc Slizer)

Callum needs to stay at home more

That is all.

20% off all toys at Farmers starting tomorrow. Ends on Tues.

I'm going to see if I can find an Echo Base at my local store. I'll like to have another one.

- Farmers Cuba Mall had 2x Echo base yesterday, and is otherwise quite well stocked (and 20% off as stated already).

- Toyworld Balance St (Wellington) has Medieval Market ~$200, Death Star ~$899, and Space Police and looks well stocked.

- Moore-Wilsons has Space police, and has just been re-stocked recently. (I ran into the Lego rep there and asked him whether we would ever see the magnet sets in stores here, but he didn't know that they existed so hopefully I may have changed that...)

I'm really undecided now about what I'd buy (if anything). I want Medieval market and home one, but I'm not sure which if I could only choose one.

No Echo Base in the Farmers at Botany so I didn't get anything. Wish I'm in Wellington.

If I'm you KnightlyKnight I'll probably pick up Home One now while its available and selling for less than RRP. I suspect in the New Year you will struggle to find one for a good price. MMV is probably not as popular so you can afford to wait for a Toyworld sale. That's my $0.02 worth.
