I saw it this morning when I got up and thought I'll put it on EB but you beat me to it. What time do get up or go to sleep CommanderFox. Here I was thinking its not quite 7am yet and its early.

Wish I had the money for it.

I got up I think at 7:30 or 8:00  , anyways going off topic...

Same.

Ouch. Its cool that there's one on TM, but $750? Good luck....

Yes, I don't think he'll have a buyer at that price, I reckon in the end it'll go for $650 or lower.

Hey are the new SP sets: Smash N Grab etc. a part of the 2010 wave with Star Wars as they weren't in the catalogue?

Does anybody know when they're meant to come?

July 2010. Probably appear in the mid year catalogue.

Wow Must have gold insides

The Starwars and Harry Potter Minifigures auction we were bidding on went for $172 :oh3:

The one that I clicked the buynow of 60$ at the same second CINNNAAAABERRRRRRRRRRRR put a bid on it... *shakes fist*

Still, That price is just silly! I could have bought those items for a fraction of the cost... But I guess they call it "Tardme" for a reason.

Never ceases to amaze me what people will try to sell things for but what is even more incredible is that there's some people who will actually pay the price.

I won't be surprise if the first 2010 set to go on sale in NZ will be on trademe but it will be for some crazy markup.

I just hope that some 2010 sets will appear in time for Boxing Day sale.

I think it amazes many people. I might be one of the people selling some 2010 lego with a markup because I have to pay back my loan to my parents but they have said I could double in on boxing day.

My K-mart has the technic crane truck for $320

Yes, every time a new wave of SW is released, the new sets go up on TM at Crazy prices!

This year when Echo Base came out, someone had it up for $85! And it sold! :oh::laugh:

I don't know why people just don't go to there nearest warehouse or Kmart and grab the new sets.

Oh well, its good for people like you Ravi. :sweet:

I knew that auction would go for above $150, crazy what people pay. But if you think about it, Jango by himself is worth around $130-140 US dollars so that auction is basically the price for Jango, and the rest is just bonus extras.

I don't know why either. I have had some weird trademe sales where people come to pick up. Mostly Spongebob sets. I get them for $42 (Krusty Crab) then sell them to some local people for $70 whereas they can just go to Toyworld to get them. Same thing happened with a Venator they were being cleared a k-mart so I got one when it was buy 1 get 1 60% of so ended up being $89 then sold it to a local for $215

Not really I'm still trying to pay for the sets I have bought for myself. So my purchases exceed my sales :sceptic:

My small 9 day break right now doesn't help and I got to much to put on sale but trademe has that limit after which they charge me

Jango is worth what people will pay. He goes for between 20 and 50 USD typically. If you have seen him for more, chances are he did not sell. Plus the jango in that auction appeared to have a few incorrect parts. So yep crazy! :)

Went searching for star wars lego but found none, again. I have a feeling that they are just waiting until the holiday sales are over so people cant pick them up for cheap

They did have ahsoka's starfighter for $79.99 at toy world which is a pretty good price for it imo. A lot better than $100 which is what I payed for it.

Re: guy who recently sold the Jango and Boba Fett auction on trademe. I just recieved a purchase from him (40 minifigures, 50$ including a C3P0, Bib Fortuna and Lobot) and I also noticed I have Jango's and young Bobas head that were supposed to go with the other figures. Weird!

I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out here, sorry alittle off-topic but Im really confused.

I got an email from The Lego Club today saying:

"Welcome to the LEGO Club! You are now an official member.......Your first magazine will be sent to you in December. LEGO Club magazines are packed with sneak previews, activities, cool comics and competitions as well as loads of other stuff to keep you busy!"

Now, im wondering:

I am already a member, so why are they saying I have only just become a member? Also it lists in the email, a new membership number?! I already have one!

Since I have been subscribed to the lego mag for two years now; have I now become an Official member?

Thanks and I hope someone here can help.

If this is in the wrong place 3D-Brickthing or anyone else don't hesitate to tell me where to put it. :sweet:

Thanks!

This is probably the wrong place for it, because it's probably not an NZ-exclusive problem. It sounds like someone subscribed you a second membership though, and you'll most likely receive two magazines from now on... :sceptic: (I wouldn't mind taking one off your hands if that's the case though  )

I had the same thing. I recieved a "you need to renew" card in teh mail, and later that day got a confirmation of my "new" membership. I suspect someone at Lego renewed your subscription for you, and that process sent that automated emial.

Commander Fox, I have received a similar email as well, and I believe it must have something to do with a new system and the new year of membership. Remember that each year you are required to renew. It is a generic email, so it says "you are now an official member" because it will have been sent to all the new people who signed up this year as well. Don't worry about it, I would say. :classic:

Lucky. Unfortunately lego stopped sending me the mags about 6 months ago. Sent me a thing to resubcribe for free. Didn't actully know it was to resubscribe at the time, so gave it to a mate. I thought it was just a free one.... now I'm not a member. I still have another free one lying around somewhere aswell.... no idea where though. :sceptic:
