Yes, TW in Lower Hutt. Didn't look at the price, I would imagine RRP.

I have one for sale. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=262301756

Thanks, I am trying to find someone to do me a bulk deal, below retail if possible. May try Toyworld Richmond again after New Year, they didnt have any a couple of weeks ago, Toyworld can be hard to get discounts from, the one in Shirley is usually okay so may be worth calling I guess, the one in Greymouth is always overpriced.

195 items at S@H on sale and only 92 available, why do they bother advertising them on sale if they dont have them anyway.

Anyone collect instruction manuals? I have just parted 40 sets for my Bricklink store and decided not to keep the instructions, creator, city, technic mostly but a couple of Taj Mahal and MMV if anyone wants for the cost of post.

The new star wars sets are up on the S@H. Man the prices are steep!

The new technic there too, the excavator is a bit expensive $45, but the log loader is actually cheaper than I expected, $119 for a pneumatic set is pretty good.

ColdBricks I'm keen. Just had a look at what's on sale ... not much Star Wars stuff other than the V-19 and keyrings butI'll like to get the Peril in Peru set since I missed out on it. The advent calendars should be good too. I'm not sure why stuff that's sold out is being listed.

I have a question on how the shipping is shared. Is it evenly per buyer, by value or by item purchased? I don't know how you do it but free shipping within NZ is really good for an Aucklander like me.

I'll have a better look at what else is on sale (there's more than 100 items) and will PM you a list.

Hi, Fumoffu

I'm quite happy for everyone to voice their own opinion. I think if there ends up being 8-10 of us ordering the cost will be quite low anyway!

I've been interested in a Click (S@H Exclusive Bionicle), so I should be able to partake in this order (If there are enough of us to make the shipping reasonable.) Thanks for arranging this ColdBricks!

Hi all, I'll just go and throw my email out there troy a n d emily @ paradise dot net dot nz. Just email me and we can talk amongst ourselves about the order rather than clog the forum up!

Troy.

I added up the US prices for the new lego star wars sets (all the new ones except for the TIE defender) plus shipping and it turns out to be $296 NZ which is $1 dearer than if you were to buy them RRP. Im just going to get them at 20% off sales cause they should be a lot cheaper then.

EDIT: Im going to go in after new years to see if they have any in stock for the sales but I dont think there will be any but its worth a shot.

I'll flick you a PM Coldbricks - This should hopefully work out better than last year

It's dissapointing that a lot of stuff is sold out :sceptic: But anyway. I'll PM you any minute.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm definately keen to order sooner rather than later, as last year things sold out very fast once on sale.

Hi there, 4 in the bulk buy, no time frame as yet, things in the sale section selling reasonably fast, email to join in!

You are right about selling fast. Got up this morning and found that Peril in Peru is gone!!! That's crazy!!

Me neither. I was going to get both the Advent Calendar and Peril in Peru ... now there's only the City Calendar left ... that probably will be gone overnight too at this rate.

I learnt my lesson this time.

Does anybody here collect trains? If so, whats your main source of new train sets?

Just started. I work in the same complex as toyworld in shirley. so they generally look after me.

Dayly serches for train and pirates in the lego section of trade me.

Ebay whilst a little confussing is quite easy to get into. i load $100 on my paypall account a month and watch for good deals.

NZ dosnt have many 2nd had type pawn shops that take in lego etc. i hear of people finding great deals that way. but over here in NZ it seams like a non existant market.

certanly in chch, the pawnshop / cash converters dont touch lego.

Same in Auckland for those kind of shops.

And Hamilton. Cash convertors did once have a huge box just generic lego bricks but when I went back to collect it, it had gone.
