A member bought them for me. They cost me on average $5 NZ including shipping.

I just got a quote from a seller on bricklink ( The cheapest i could find) and for 10 i got a quote of 27 something euros which comes to around $50 NZ. So again $5 NZ for each on average.

I liked everything i got except the spaceman...

Really? When I was asking the manager about when the Imperial Flagship would arrive, he said 'it will probably be here by June, in time for the mid year sale'. The impression I got from this was that he wanted me to hold off buying it from the Internet (which I did anyway, because I had to get it sooner, even if it meant freight charges) so that I could buy it from him at a discount.

Now that I think about it, he never said the Flagship would be included in the sale, just that it would be there in time for the sale... tricksy. :sceptic:

Time will tell. Either I get the Brigade and Emporium at a discount, or I save my $600 for other things. I'd like to have them... but I'm not full price keen, if you know what I mean. Kind of like the PoP sets.

Totally understand about not paying full price. I avoided paying full price for any Lego set so far (other than discountinued stuff that I didn't have the $$$ for at the time).

I think each Toyworld store operates differently so you might find yours will include the Flagship & Emprorium in the sale. The rules seem to change from sale to sale. I remember a mate got the Green Grocer a couple of years back on 20% at Toyworld.

i got my S@H order yesterday and the Tantive IV box is so small...guess the days of big UCS are gone

Did you think? I got mine in the US, and It was about what I was expecting. I mean, SWL prices are constantly rocketing up, and the set isn't even spossed to be UCS... I actully quite like it, considering its a system set... :classic:

it looks like a good set, just not a real UCS set....

BTW: warehouse has 20% off lego today and this weekend

Yeah. It's not a UCS though. Here's a comparison Pic

As you can tell, the UCS is far superior

(speaking of which, If anyone has the UCS and is willing to sell, please give me a yell :classic: )

I would say good luck. They aren't out anywhere yet. Them being on sale in a month here is probably unlikely. But I don't know anything, so anythings possible

(BTW, It's not my pic, It's off SW.com)

Hey all - I just got my lego.com order today after taking advantage of the free shipping offer, and I did not get a sticker sheet as advertised. Did this happen to anyone else?? - Im about to email Lego to see if I can get one sent to me.

That's pretty slack imo. :sceptic: I really hope they can pull through for you. Did you really want the stickers or was it just a bonus?

i got this email about a day after i placed my order

Dear LEGO fan,

Thank you very much for ordering your LEGO products from Shop at Home.

We regret to tell you that the exclusive LEGO® Star Wars® label sheets that were meant to be included on your order are not ready to be shipped yet. We have decided to send these to you separately to avoid any delays for the rest of your order.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and we would like to thank you for your patience.

Kind regards,

Your LEGO Shop at Home Team

Thats not too bad. It's not like you have to pay extra postage or anything. Thats good news :classic:

Please do cause $5 seems way to much for just one of these minifigs. I just hope they will be available in all stores so maybe k-mart might lower its price.
Toyworld catalogue going out 12th June with them at $4.99 and LEGO NZ now have RRP of $4.99 too.

Ok thanks. Its not the perfect price but its not the worst. I will have to think seriously about actually getting them now.

Yeah thats true. But would they put these on sale because they are small? A 20% off sale though would only get you $1 off though. I guess its better than nothing.

For $5.49, I could by a police officer with a dog and a speed camera and some other bits and bobs (21 bricks) or a BBQ stand with a chef, two bottles, an umbrella, a chicken drumstick and a container (22 parts) or a traveller with luggage container on wheels and a signpost (21 parts) or various other things, all including a minifig and at least 20 parts... also, I wouldn't have to play Minifig Roulette.

Considering this - and especially after the fact that these are all made in China to reduce costs - I really can't say I'm that keen on them any more.

I'll probably buy a couple anyway though, just for that thing known as 'fun' I all too often forget to include in my Lego decisions.

But don't forget, this is all about the MARKETING. These are 'collectable' and exclusive figs. Seeing as it's still cheaper than an impulse, I can really see these booming, considering you won't find most of these figs anywhere else.

Also, this is supposedly 'upgraded' Chinese plastic, so I'll give them a chance :classic:

The Minifigs are now on S@H for $4, much more reasonable.

Did anyone get anything special from the TW coupon sale? I was thinking of getting a couple of Technic sets and the Taj Mahal, but didn't end up with either. The Taj was sold out and I can wait for a better deal on the Technic sets.

Also, I've received my S@H order, took a while due to PaB :classic:
