Darth Legolas Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 (edited) I know, these pictures are terrible, but really underneath the MOC is great! So here it is! EDIT: Oh megablocksing megablocks of all megablocks! I had the camera set on far away mode, and not closeup, so they'll all be 70% blurrier! (Didn't actually swear, just typed in the accursed ripoff name!) I promise, less pathetically horrible pics will be up soon!!! As you can see here there's a little gun compartment in the back. Now please, comments, criticism, and CAMERA DONATIONS welcome! Edited February 25, 2009 by Darth Legolas Quote
ADHO15 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 That looks like a very accurate and detailed MOC. Well done. My only improvement would be to maybe extend the engines outwards by a stud at the sides to see if that looks better. They look too close to the cockpit. Quote
Natman8000 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Very good! I think it is a little too stubby and could use a bit more details. But its a bit hard to tell. Good job Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 Thanks! I think I'll try both of those ideas. Maybe the new version will be better and less crushed together by the time I've smashed my camera to pieces and got a new one! The only detail I don't think I'll write in is there's a weird little never-before-seen symbol on the ship, that was too hard to decal, and too unimportant to care about. P.S. The frontmost sticker isn't a red rectangle, it striped but the stupid camera didn't pick it up. Quote

The feet could be made more accurate too. I think it's a very unique vehicle that cannot be pulled off in LEGO well in any case. A very good attempt, nonetheless. I look forward to new and better pics. Quote

ILikePi Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 (edited) For the feet, I tried using these: But I could only find two of the four I have... Hmm...it seems to me that LucasArts designed the feet to similar to that piece. They look very similar to me. Edited February 26, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
Legoking Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 This is accurate to the real speeder in the show. Too bad your camera was so bad for such a nice creation. Quote
prateek Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 thats pretty good but for the landing gear, i wouldve used ski pieces but nice nonetheless Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Very good and as you said Darth Legolas the pictures are blurry Quote
Future74 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Very nice MOC My only improvement would be to maybe extend the engines outwards by a stud at the sides to see if that looks better. They look too close to the cockpit. Agreed, that would be a worthwhile improvement. Thanks! I think I'll try both of those ideas. djo Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 nice, your MOC already make similarity to the real thing. the shape is very nice. nice idea indeed for the landing gear. actually what camera are you using? not bad for pictorial information. overall is nice for me to see. Quote

Vivitar ViviCam55. Bought it almost 5 years ago, and it can't even display the picture after you've taken it. It's just like a disposable camera but reusable with a USB cord. A new one is indeed necessary. Thanks to all for your comments and suggestions! I will do my best to follow! Quote
iH Master 13uilder17 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 nice moc, but it could be a little longer. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 26, 2009 Author Posted February 26, 2009 Alright, the new ship is already built! Longer, sleeker, the engines are farther apart, sturdier, and now, 2 gun holders! I still can't fix the feet, but I slightly changed them, and I didn't put on the hexagon. now, the only think that could ruin this MOC is the pictures of it! Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 That looks very accurate & detailed. Good jobe. My only improvement would be better pictures... You must see it as a part of your MOC... on EuroBricks you can find threads about this and how to do it. Good luck and hope to see more. Quote
pr0visorak Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Despite the horrible pictures Just kidding, I think the ship is a bit too short in length and that the hull used is a bit weird. But good attemp and I hope you get a new camera! Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Good you make clearer pics and post them please I can't really see the Bike Quote

I'll start a new topic for the improved version because it's pretty different. Quote
