Why don't we have a modules contest where you have to build (part of) a location by the module standard agreed on in this thread. This could be any location in the SW Universe, including the corridors of the Death Star, Theed Palace, Tantive IV, or The Invisible Hand. The only exception could be the interior of a Venator, as that is what the EBCSWB is for. :wink:

This would be a nice way of finding out if the standard works. :thumbup:

How about a Star Wars Brickfilm contest?

Interesting idea, but wouldn't that be more a contest for the brickfilms forum? :wink:

A Fate of Ahsoka would be really fun to do little vignettes for maybe a raffle. I would be cool if there was two catergories one which could be humour and seriousness. Seriousness could be how you interpret the way she will disappear and humour just a strange and hilarious way she disappears.

module contest sounds good enough, i'd be eager to enter. i dont want another holiday themed contest, nor a joke-kind one. we need to have a contest that actually takes place/or could take place in SW-universe.

I'd join a Fate of Ashoka contest. It's one I could actually do. I also like the the humour/seriousness thing.

Well, I guess it's too late for an easter contest now, but there's still the Ahsoka contest which KimT promised us! :classic:

The latest frontpage post gave me another idea: How about a midi-scale contest? Build any iconic SW vehicle (except the MF) in midi-scale. Not very creative, but might still be an interesting challenge.

We could have a theme bender contest that restricts itself to SW sets, but I guess that would be lame.

In summer, we could have a "What I did on my summer vacation" contest where we create scenes with SW characters participating in summer activities, be it playing volleyball at the beach, fishing on a lake, or visiting Disneyland. Could you imagine Vader with a Mickey Mouse hat? :laugh:

There has already been a contest like this on CABG, but how about a "Create your own bounty hunter and build a ship for him/her" contest? Perhaps the hunters could be based on our sigfigs?

As you can see, I'm really trying to get a Starfighter contest going. :tongue:

I should read this thread more often some of you guys have really good ideas, I would love to get involved with a fate of Ashoka contest, It could be really funny. The Bounty Hunter one sounds cool too, but I don't have a sigfig, yet :devil: . Oh well, I'm sure Kim t will think of something.

CloneCommanderXD's MOC gave me an idea: A Sigfig podracer contest! Build a podracer that represents your sigfig and enter it in a race! We could do it like FBTB and have three rounds of voting (representing the three laps of a race) to determine the winner!

Oh, and did I mention a Fate of Ahsoka contest? :tongue: Or a starfighter contest? It sounds kind of familiar...

Hmm... I like that idea actually. The voting... not so much. The problem with that is that if your podracer you are voting for gets kicked out then that person may not vote again.

May be, but there are usually at least a hundred people voting in these things, so that probably wouldn't matter much. :wink: Besides, we don't have to do it, I just thought it's a neat idea. As long as we can spawn some more good podracer MOCs, I'm a happy camper Ewok. YUBYUB! :grin:

Meh, I just felt like saying something random. Besides, Ewoks are still better than freaky amphibic lizard-bunnies. :tongue:

Anyways, here is another one: A "Complete the Alphabet Starfighters" contest where you can chose a letter from the alphabet (except A, B, V, X, or Y) and have to build a starfighter based on its shape, thereby completing the series of "-Wing" starfighters, hopefully.

Another possibilty I just thought of- the Empire had hundred of TIEs, we could do a Design-your-own-TIE type of thing.

I'm not a big fan of TIEs, but yeah, that could be a fun contest! :thumbup: We could make all kinds of TIEs! TIE walkers, tie tanks, bow-ties, neck-ties... Uhm, never mind those last two. :tongue:

I like the idea of a sig-fig themed podracer contest, but no ideas really come to mind. It may be easier for someone with a sig-fig like yours, Oky Wan, because you have a theme and a color scheme. But many people don't have that in theirs, so maybe the participation would be a little low...

I found this image on the interwebs and I initially thought of Ar Sparfel's SW Karts, so it got me thinking: Why not make a contest where you have to build a race car based on your favorite SW character? :sweet:

Well, most sigfigs are based some sort of theme, but for those who really don't have a theme (or don't want to base their racer around it), we could leave the rules a bit flexible, saying that in that case they can base their pod on any theme they like. :classic:

Yeah! :sweet: Like a contest where you show SW characters on summer vacation on a specific planet! You could have Palpatine tanning on Tatooine, young Anakin in summer camp on Endor, Yoda hitting up bars on Coruscant ("Come here often you do, hmm?"), or Vader and Luke fishing on Naboo! :laugh: That reminds me of this:
