How do companies get away with copying Lego?

Thanks for that Cobra, I was looking for pics like this. Personally I think Enlighten isnt half bad. I got one of their small pirate ships the other day. 200pcs for $9 Aus. and the quality was, dare I say, pretty good. The figs werent as good but besides that I would actually recomend that product. Especially to people that dont have as much money as some.

You know, I have been collecting images on eBay too. Plus doing a bit of research into some of the more "open" companies. I'll have to post them online at some point.
