I`d like to show you my latest spaceship - Patrol #12

Model: This is a patrol ship of my own Space police. For short missions and equipped with only light weapons. I was thinking about this many weeks before i actually started building it. Plenty of drawings and ideas were tried and this is the result. Nose and leaned sidewalls weren't easy for me, because I'm not an experienced SNOT builder. I really enjoyed the interior and I keep swooshing it all the time because its very stiff.

Construction:Ship is divided on three sections. In the nose are cooling and communiction systems and little window. Inside it are two prison boxes (just to transport them). Middle section contains office with seats and police computers and weapons, there is great lookout too. above the corridor is cockpit. In the rear section is cargo room with stairs to cockpit and loading ramp. On the roof are satelites and on wings are light laser guns.

Crew: 7 cops (2 pilots, 2 armored policemen, 3 officers), 1 mechanic, 2 prisoners

This is just awesome. Such a lovely, classic, original feel, that I don't get out of alot of things. No new shiny parts, no nothing looks weak or flashy. Just a solid, cool, build, and I really like that.

I must agree, beautiful creation

It looks really armored and secured.

Besides it have a nice streamlined shape, so that the ship looks fast, too.

The form of that ship´s beautiful with very strong lines and a very distinct color scheme.

The interior´s pretty nice and well detailed too, although it might suffer a bit from the Shady Acres

Apartments Syndrome... i.e. the interior looks too much like a succession of living rooms rather than the

(assumed ) complexity of a real starship. I understand well that it´s very tempting to 'ban' a lot of the fancy

space machinery simply into some walls, but unless you´re working with some kind of magic satchel technology it

could be pretty cool to see a little more room in your spacecrafts just addressed to all that lavish and extravagant high-tech

mayhem that everyone´s usually expecting from some serious space traveling stuff...

That's just the way I like it no torn off figs hands and stuff like that. I don't say it looks bad, I just think it isn't the way it should be...

Only Space police pieces used to build this are TrRed panels and canopy windscreens. But I must agree - Space police (both I. and II.) are wonderful series. I'm curious about SP3

I don't understand what You mean - add more interior or add more things into interior?

No, there isn't any "magic satchel" technology There should probably be more technic stuff, like engines and other things, but the walls are really thick (more than I am used to build) so I decided to use interior for figs. This is small ship to use some rooms for engines only, but when I'll build bigger one, I won't forget

I think it looks great, lots of opportunity for fun stuff inside. The side panels and front grill are very interesting! Hey but why not smooth out the wingtips with some flat pieces or even rounded pieces. Not an experienced SNOT builder.... Those are pretty advanced techniques!

A real classic feel to this MOC, with a new, engaging colour scheme. Lots of detail, including the pretty SNOT work. Well done!

Wow, the ewhole moc looks excellent. I really like the front engines :thumbup:

I Love how the cockpit area flows so nicely into the rest of the interior; in fact until I saw the rest of the pics I thought it was just a super heavy fighter without an interiour!

And the angled hull panels surrounding a more traditional studs on top body is a great construction technique. I'll have to keep that method in mind when I graduate from fighters to bigger ships someday.

This idea came to my mind too, but I didn't like it when I tried it. And I don't even have this many white tiles to cover all three wingtops an all four panels.

IMHO that would be a terrible waste of space

That is a very neat looking retro ship there. I especially love the integrated colour scheme. Nice job!

The front also looks great.

I love this whole thing. The look is unprecedented, but the color scheme classic. It makes for a great build. Really brings back memories of SP1, which gave me some of my first LEGO sets ever. I think due to that I'll always hold a fondness for the black, white, trans-red color scheme.
