SlyOwl Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 The bad guys try to release what is left of their Floating Rock City as the Agents of the Imperial Crown close in Gallery Quote
General Armendariz Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Wow this is great! I love steampunk! Quote
TenorPenny Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Lovely. I adore the unique quality in the vehicles, structures and differences between the two factions. You haven't overused brown bricks, either, which too many people do in steampunk. Quote
Asuka Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 A fantastic and very imaginative scenery full of neat and detailed crafts! Quote
Darth Legolas Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Amazing! I love all of the brickbuilt smoke and the falling off the rock fence! The helicopter is cool and the burning building is neat! Overall, if this were a set, I'd buy it. Quote
Lego12 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 That's lovely! TLC should really consider making a steampunk theme, ahhhh, that would be great, too bad its never going to happen. Anyways, what an amazing MOC as usual. I just got back from my local LEGO store and got a full cup of PaB. I got many of those tile pieces......now I know what I can use them for. Thanks SlyOWl. thire5 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 This is excellent . Loads of detail and fantastic SNOT techniques! Quote
Zepher Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Very nice! Well done, good adaption. i couldn't right away tell exactly what it was (if I had not seen the tile) but with the tile it's easy to tell! The battle damage is fantastic as well! Quote
ILikePi Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) Nicely done! Also, I think that that was your 1337th post. So that means that I have to say that it's 1337! :P Edited March 2, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
Oky Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Awesome! I really like that helicopter! How did you make those barrel gattling guns? But if this is supposed to be your entry for the Flickr contest, I don't think it qualifies. Aren't you supposed to build steampunk-ified versions of the Agents sets? Quote
SlyOwl Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 Thanks I just got back from my local LEGO store and got a full cup of PaB. I got many of those tile pieces......now I know what I can use them for. Thanks SlyOWl. One of the best bulk investments I made (along with grey slopes and green plates) Awesome! I really like that helicopter! How did you make those barrel gattling guns? But if this is supposed to be your entry for the Flickr contest, I don't think it qualifies. Aren't you supposed to build steampunk-ified versions of the Agents sets? The gattling guns are done by sticking 8 bars into a barrel, and then removing the middle one. They stay in pretty well. And it's for the Free-Build Category, so I had a very long leash! Quote
KimT Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 How did you make the "smoke" coming from the cannons? Which white piece/pieces did you use for that? Great diorama Quote
