Technic Cherry Picker

Hi, I am doing this review how it should of been done in the first place.

The Build: The build is started off with the chasis, around about the middle with the gearbox. You continue with the rear section and then the front section. Once the chasis is done, we move to book 2. Book 2 has the cab section, and the boom. The build was frustratingly hard for me for it was my first technic flagship and I am used to the LSW sets.

The Play: It has great play value. I never thought I would have fun with a cherry picker. The motorised function adds a lot to the excitement!

The Endurance: It is so sturdy that I have trouble taking it apart. Each beam is secured by a pin and a cross axle interlocking. You'll understand if you have it.

The Price: It was a good price for fun ratio!

The minifigs: You have to be kidding me, why is this question here! Although they don't fit in the chair either.

Whether you should buy it or not?: Yes. If you have the money, if you live near a supplier and if you could be bothered, then yes you should!

That's not very nice. I'm sure you had the same reactions when you had your first few technic sets.

If you are into both SW and Technic, then I can highly recommend the walking AT-AT - it is great how the pieces work together in order to give the right kind of walk.

The Cherry picker is great, but the AT-AT is pure win.

There should be a review of it somewhere here... I'll find it in a moment.

Yes the AT-AT is expensive, but I don't see it much in Australia. Besides it is $250

Firstly, sorry if I have caused any discomfort with my comment.

What I mean is, I wouldn't go as far as to say-

IT IS BREATH-TAKING!!!

however I understand that to an unexperienced technic builder this may be true.

And also (having only built two small to mid-scale models) CloneCommander does sound new to technic and therefore unexperienced in the theme. But by no way is there anything wrong with that. In fact it is probably a very good thing as to be honest technic makes think a little harder about how things go together and work.

While i can apprecaite you enthusiasm for your new techinc set, was it really nesasary to include your "comic"? I imagine you included it cause you didn't get the reaction iposting it in the starwars forum that you were hoping.

Either way glad to see more people getting into techinc.

Well, the Hyena Droid Bomber is so boring that the only thing you can do with it is blow it up with the most convenient way possible.

I've redone it, hopefully it's better now.

I was impressed with the Cherry Picker and 'b' model was really quite decent too. Only improvement on it I could see would have been outriggers, even if manually operated and for the size and price point manual ones would have been warranted.
