ProducePrincess Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) Dwarfinator if you have pirate hulls I think that would look a bit better than using viking hulls but only if you have them. Dannylonglegs-OMG what did you do to that beautiful blacktron figure What do you mean by that? I think he looks very stylish in his eye patch and the metal hook goes very nicely with his whole i can't ride a bike attitude ( he never learned how and now he's too scared ) Edited June 28, 2009 by Black Rabbit Quote

My brother has Brickbeard's Bounty, but I don't think he'd let me use the parts. Edited June 28, 2009 by Dwarfinator Quote

Spyder Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) Done with my impulse set. It was quite fun making it. This was just the way I imagined the Queen's army, so sorry if it doesn't match the other ones. There are 25 pieces in all, including if you take apart the figure. I tried to make it nice, and simple, and studdy, like most of Lego's impulse sets. I even have an alternate model! I just didn't want to post another picture. It's in the gallery. If you really want me to post it, just ask, because it hasn't been moderated yet. EDIT: I forgot a name! I can't really think of one actually. I'll let Algernon name it. Faramir Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I'd made and posted this steampunk MOC a few months ago: It could work as a rebel patrolling the streets of one of the cities? Even Space Police has ONE ground vehicle. I was thinking I could add a small flying enemy and put them together for the $5.99... how about that? Quote
user Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I was thinking I could add a small flying enemy and put them together for the $5.99... how about that? I think i't would be more like 15.00 with a decent bad vehicle. Quote
Algernon Posted June 29, 2009 Author Posted June 29, 2009 Could I use some Viking ship hulls for it? Certainly, use whatever you like. It could work as a rebel patrolling the streets of one of the cities? Even Space Police has ONE ground vehicle. What category is it in? It looks like a ten or fifteen dollar set to me. Done with my impulse set. It was quite fun making it. This was just the way I imagined the Queen's army, so sorry if it doesn't match the other ones. Looks good for an impulse, it kind of looks like some kind of officer for the Queen. It's not the color scheme we had (mostly black) but I think it could work. Would it be ok for me to make a 5.99 model? Sure! Quote
user Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 If I have time to post pics I'll take some of my set "Rebel base ambush" it will be similar to "Freeze ray frenzy only it will come with a small gate and a box of tols instead of signs. Quote

That sounds almost identical as to what I had posted a page back. Quote
user Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 That sounds almost identical as to what I had posted a page back. Oh I guess from my discription it does sond like your creation. In person there is barely any resemblance at all I can assure you. Quote
Bartram Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Ok. so I'm thinking of doing something to do with the Queen's Army (Bad guys) for the set. What should I go along with in terms of design, style, colours, etc? Are they futuristic, while the Rebels are more of in a Steampunk time? Quote

I made two of the imperial sets and you can find them in this topic. Algernon i finished tweaking my Imperial scout copter set and took better pictures of it day 1 I think the topic is slowing down now day 2 please don't die on me steam empire !please don't die we need you ! day 3 yep the topic is most certainly dead day 4 Algernon where are you? Edited July 4, 2009 by Black Rabbit Quote
Oky Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I sure hope this topic isn't dead. I have returned from my vacation, and even though I have many other MOCs planned, I think I'll tackle the $100 set. I have a very nice idea for a flying fortress for the queen! The only problem I have is that I still don't know what the queen should look like. I already decided for the old witch body, but I'm not sure how to do her head. Should it be a cyborg head that could be used for a female, like this one (which would fit the description "disfigured and cybernetic" perfectly), or should it be the Clawdette head with some sort of futuristic helmet on? Quote
Algernon Posted July 4, 2009 Author Posted July 4, 2009 Oki: My idea for the queen was to use a Geonosian body with some kind of cyborg head and a cape and a staff. But feel free to do what you will; remember though, she shouldn't be too colorful and should look like she's less than human. Back Rabbit: Great, I'll add it. How much is it? Bartam: They are more black and mechanical whereas the rebels are more traditional steampunk. Look at what's been done already. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Back Rabbit: Great, I'll add it. How much is it? What the hells a Back Rabbit It's a 12.99 CND set Why does everyone keep asking about colours when the same questions have been answered over and over again. Just look at the first post by Algernon and you will have you answers as well as a few examples of the rebels and imperials. I guess posting that the topics dead got people active on it again Quote
Algernon Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Still waiting on those larger MOCs I believe. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I made a tank for the queens army its a 9.99 set I know there is allready one but anouther can't hurt.I will post a picture soon as I can. We are also still waiting for that tank of yours. I'm starting to think that you didn't even build a tank or you just forgot . Quote
user Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Clawdette head with some sort of futuristic helmet on? Or possibly the damaged darth vader head with some sort of female hair on it possibly in white? That head could pass off as a cyborg deformed old lady. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Come on now don't let this project die when we were making quite a bit of progress . I guess people just lost intrest and were to lazy to post pics of their Additions Quote
user Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 (edited) Here's a quick decal I made of the steam queen I don't know if it's the correct size or not but I hope it works.Link Edited July 17, 2009 by computerbug Quote
ProducePrincess Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Computerbug I think the decal looks good but it seems a little to strange and kinda creepy looking. Personally I think she needs to fire the person who does her makeup out of a cannon Quote

ProducePrincess Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 change the colours around and make the face a little more femminine. Quote
