74louloute Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 That's why I like the creative critic contest ! The action is still the same, but you improved so much things in your MOC. Your entry is far better right now ! Congratulations for all your improvements. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Excellent improvements! The tiled deck greatly improves the look of the whole thing, and your pictures now look much better. Last improvements: 1) I would recommend taking one picture that's like the first one, but so that you can see the entire thing. The current one cuts off the top a little. 2) Is there a way you could make the pictures a larger size, like 800 x 600? The ones you have now a a bit on the small side. ========================================== Your entry is miles ahead of where it was when it started, so great job! Quote
Lorentzen Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I'm impressed with your update. You have improved your entry very much, and I must say that I love all the small details, but please post pictures that are even bigger, so that we can see the details even better. I'm planning on making my very first MOC ever, for this contest. I'm still in the thinking progress though. Quote
General Armendariz Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 This is way better than your old one!!! And nice pics too! Quote

It looks great, it still has the essentials and spirit of your original design, but the moc and photo's have certainly evolved a lot. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Great work! You've really done an excellent job improving this, all of the hard work has paid off. Quote
Teddy Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 This is looking fanatstic Cap'n Blackmoor. you could use the same thechnique as CGH for the planking since you already have the bricks in place. Here is a link: arrr a link you say? Here the effect on a larger surface: arr a surface you say? Hope this helps. By the way I like what you did with the exterior a lot. Any chance I could get to see an overview picture a little bit zoomed out straight at the MOC? Kind regards, Teddy Quote
Zorro Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Your improvements are really great! I think you stand more then a fair chanche of winning a prize now, although there are many very strong entries already! Quote

Kind regards, Teddy I am planning that but I'm running short on brown plates, I might switch to black plates or visit BL once more. I agree with your statement about the overview picture, I'll try to improve it tomorrow. Hehe, there are some magnificient entries already. We'll see where the prizes go... I'm looking forward to the voting rounds. Thank you Zorro, I'm glad you like it as well. Quote
Legoking Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I have been watching your updates on your entry for about a week or two but have not been able to comment. I would just like to say that the improvements that you have made are very nice. Good Job! LegoKing Quote
puriri Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Wow the new version looks pretty cool! The tiled and SNOT decks look really good. The detail are amazing. I love the burning cannon. Also having the cannons tied in are a detail I haven't seen before. Only thing though: That one missing 1x2 plate bugs me. Great MOC and excellent photos! Puriri de Vry Quote
