Posted March 6, 200916 yr V-LV-27F This is a MOC I was working for a while, but only recently finished and photographed. I know this limousine could be a little longer (by US standarts) but I think that in Europe this is big enough (27 studs long) It can fit 4 minifigs on the back plus the driver in the front. Brickshelf folder Flickr I appreciate your comments and critics
March 6, 200916 yr Very nice. I think you've captured the look and feeling of a stretch limo perfectly. My three favourite things would have be the antenna on the back, the glow in the dark pieces as lights, and the fact that you can actually seat Minifigs inside. I know that if I were to build this, there wouldn't be any room for them.
March 6, 200916 yr Amazing design, rupi! Very interesting vertical / horizontal building technique for a vehicle and so much place in the interior! BTW, love the cherry detail in the glass
March 6, 200916 yr Oooh fancy! :D I love the hood and grille. The darkened windows are also great. Excellent job!
March 6, 200916 yr I love it! I wish I could build like that! mee too i love the doors and how the figs can actuallu fit in it. it fits into your lego town very nicely
March 7, 200916 yr Great design! Very clever and retains functionality. Any shots with the sides off so we can see how you did it or will that be your little secret?
March 7, 200916 yr Possibly the BEST LEGO Limo EVER This is awesome! Just like your other car. And its minifig-scale [almost?] From the outside it doesnt look like it could fit anyone very well but it does! Very awesome.
March 7, 200916 yr Author Thank you very much for your nice comments I will upload a photo of it with the sides off, it isn't that complicated
March 7, 200916 yr That's a very clever design, rupi. Looks fantastic, and then some, seeing how it fits figs and has opening doors and such. Thanks for sharing!
March 7, 200916 yr It is really good job and great design. I think it is one of best lego cars I've ever seen. And it very well fit the street.
March 11, 200916 yr That's a totally awesome MOC, rupi! I really it! With its many details and the opening doors it looks absolutely realistic! Two suggestions I'd make: You could add some doors to the driver's cab and some seats to the passengers' cab. Otherwise it's perfect! If only TLG releases such a nice limousine! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
March 12, 200916 yr Dear rupi, That is a great Limo! Finally a descent car for the minifigs to be driven in, in Lego Town. Verry clever design and good use of pieces. Keep it up. Kind regards, Teddy
March 16, 201014 yr Well. Very Nice Limo building and most importantly the characters are also looking good....! Kate Simon ________________________________ Houston Limousine Rental Services Houston Airport limo Services
March 16, 201014 yr Looks very good! But what tyres did you use? I don't know them, but they would be very useful for my Ford Mustang project! Cheers, funkybrick
March 17, 201014 yr It looks great, but I have a couple of suggestions. I really like the hidden hinges. Make the wet bar longer and eliminate the street-side doors. Maybe make the curb side doors into suicide doors, so the handles are both in the center and the doors open opposite directions. Maybe make this one of those outragous limos with an outside pool in the back where the trunk would be. PS> I really like your roadster for two. Edited March 17, 201014 yr by gotoAndLego
March 19, 201014 yr Nice one 'rupi' - pimp my limo ! Love the interior I do - little bar - shaken not stirred ! Unusual that the seats and floor are the same level, but it works ! Great design and build 'rupi' and I'm a conformist! !
March 19, 201014 yr Very very nice! Much better than TLCs version, for design, colour, space. It is just great. Only one thing, sorry.. but I really hate those wheels. The plastic looks so cheap.. I have the same issue with the grey clone trooper gear or other parts. Perhaps it is just me, sorry. I have a hard time chosing some nice wheels for cars. 6015 is also not an option, I just cannot see it anymore for cars.
March 19, 201014 yr A really great MOC rupi. Well done It indeed is a great MOC. I missed this a year ago (I was only just around then). Still worthy of a blog though.
March 19, 201014 yr Author Thanks. I am pleased to see that this MOC is still up to date after a year. Probably somethig to do with the Lego set 3222 I too think Lego needs to make new tires/wheels to fit properly a 6 wide city car.
