This with an axle hole in the center

This with pins on all four sides (where the holes are).

A 1x3 tile doesn't seem very useful. Any use I can think of for it can be accomplished with a 1x1 and 1x2, as described earlier. The only thing is that it would provide more strength in some cases.

The first one already has an axle hole, and you can just put the usual pins into the other one.

an inverse cheese

This would be far more useful.

I would love to see a separate helmet and Jet-pack for two bounty hunters that exist in a current theme

And maybe a return of such parts like the Giant spruce tree and pitchfork

A 1 x 1 Brick that is half the width... so it can be used as mortar in a brick wall. So it would be 2/58 width not 5/16 (???)

you can use any plate for the horizontal mortar but for the vertical everything is just too wide.

We call that a tile, sideways. I won't even ask where you got 2/58ths, it's giving me a headache thinking about it.

I meant a round one.

It was late and I couldn't think of what else they were called.

I don't get why they don't do them.

Its pure madness.

They have a tile for every other 1 x something plate so it really doesn't make sense.

No, but I don't really see the need for them. You can just put a flat 1x1 next to a flat 1x2. The one reason I came up with is to put 2/3 of it on one piece, then attach another piece to the 1/3 of it hanging off the edge. Picture:

That can be done with a 2x1 and 1x1 tile actually. It would be useful only if you had only the two sides connected to studs and nothing in the middle.

You could try looking here. Under offsetting there is quite a good technique for making brick and mortar walls.

A yellow 1 x 7 plate modified with rail. I badly need one.

Yellow ornamental fish would be great too.

Ornamental fish? Thats kind of a weird request.

Yeah, its already a piece. I think it came in some oriental sets and some bellieville one too. I think Magicbricks has it in bright yellow, but it is really expensive.

I want better arms for my skeletons. Current ones are too long.

I have this new idea for a new piece - a modified version of this door piece:

x39.jpg

The modified piece would only be half as long (2Wx6H), which would be perfect for LEGO City sets containing city buses, coach buses, or school buses.

Here is some concept drawings I drew earlier in the day of what the door would look like, if I were to design the piece, and how it would function.

you mean a french door. it's used widely to separate rooms in a house as well. :classic::thumbup:

What would be very cool is one of these, but with power function connectors that link to the magnetic part, such that when two are joined up functionality can be passed along. Trains with lights in trailing carriages would be very cool indeed.

I totally agree with you, Justin and natelite!

These would be very nice doors - especially for seperating a living room from the rest of a big family house or as doors to the terrace/garden.

Which I'd like very much TLG producing is this element:

Door Frame 1x8x6

(the same one like for the regular doors but that two doors can fit in it)

to built even a double door

(which is with the now common elements not possible - or you always have that door frame between the two doors which is firstly unrealistic and secondly looks very bad)

Klaus-Dieter

Well, not really a new element but an element in other colors I really would like to see:

-bicycle in grey

-bicycle in (dark) blue

and please bring back the black bicycles!

The red bicycles are really not nasty - but totally unrealistic since I nearly never see someone with a red bicycle driving around!

This might be familiar, but just in case I'm posting it:

Flickr Brick Wishlist

:oh:

At least for me it wasn´t.

Thanks for posting!

Double Lightsaber Handle would be good, and so would more avaliable chrome pieces (That would justify Amidala's ship, which would also justify a new Padme Minifig. Then everyone's happy :classic: .)

I'd like to see all the old Light elements remade with LEDs. The old ones are bulbs and are prone to burning out. LEDs do not, and there is a dearth of L&S elements in sets in the current lineup. I'm pretty sure the old 9V system works with the new PF connections, can anyone confirm?

The PF connectors ae different to the old 9V ones, however the PF extension cable can be used as an adapter (at one end the bottom of the connector is a 9V one, the top a PF one).

Having searched, I found no similar threads, so here's my proposal: given TLG's involvement with their fans, more specifically AFOLs, would they be willing to allow us to submit ideas for new System elements, choose perhaps the two or three best based upon votes, and actually produce them? I know I have often wished for this or that piece, as I'm sure others have as well. So I'm putting this out there for the Ambassadors; would TLG be open to new element ideas from the fans? Naturally, TLG would have the final say based on playability, functionality, safety, and versatility.

My two suggestions would be 1) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32013 with the axle connector replaced by half of http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=75535b , and 2) single stud wide ball and socket joints with friction and 90-180 degrees of motion in at least 1 plane, possibly attached to plates. Tall order, I know, but the last time we had friction ball/sockets was with the arm elements:

http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30082

http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3614a

I remember starting a thread on lugnet called "technic. What happened to the good old days?" Check it out (the whole thread) as there are many many many many great ideas there for new parts.

I'd like to see some new elements especially for civilian City:

-watering can

-hedge trimmer

-pretzel

-school rucksack

-mobile telephone

-laptop (in fitting size to minifigs)

-city scooter

-re-design of the cypris tree
