user Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I'd like one of these with a circle on both sides. Quote
Rick Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I'd like one of these with a circle on both sides. You could use a hammer... Quote
Mörs Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 I would LOVE to finally see a brown bear. I think it should be a different mold than the polar bear, since they look a little different (maybe shorten the tail, make the head a little more round, with a slightly shorter neck...). Though I would be happy if it was just a brown coloured version of the polar bear. Themes that could incorporate this: - a new Wild West theme - a zoo theme (sub-theme of Town) - Castle... there could, for example, be a set with a villager guy with a pet bear (I hear that there were people that trained bears to do tricks in the Middle Ages), or some "woods" set with part of a forest and maybe a bear's hibernation cave (WOW, that sounds great!). Other than that, I would like to see the old body armour from Classis Castle come back. As well as the halberd replace the new spear-like thing (don't know what it's called). Yes, I know this topic is about new elements, but whatever... Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I would like to see more minifig tools like of the following. Wheelbarrow Builder's paint brush Builder's paint scraper (can double as a chef egg flip or grill tool) Builder's wood hand saw Builder's metal hacksaw Builder's chisel (could be for wood/metal/brick) Builder's claw hammer (a bit different than the tool wheel one) Chef's soup ladle (minifig size not the other one) Mechanic's open end/closed end spanner Mechanics's/Builder/Electrician Philips head screwdriver finially a knife and fork set ! Sadly a pair of pliers in minifig may not work out so I didn't post that till this point. Besides that to everyone reading this have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year ! Quote
Dennimator Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Directly quoting my post in the Pirates forum: Plates with studs on both sides! Example: (Sorry for the bad quality, didn´t spend too much time on the sketch.) I´ve been wanting this piece for years. It would make SNOT so much easier, especially on small MOCs where you have very limited space. TLG should´ve maked this piece a long time ago. We also really need an inverted 1 x 1 cheese slope! So much more useful than the 1 x 2 cheese slope which TLG actually made... Quote
Ezechielle Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 (edited) Dennimator I fully agree Edited December 27, 2009 by Ezechielle Quote
Mörs Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 How would that piece make SNOT easier? Sorry, I can't see that, please explain. Quote
Forresto Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 I would like to see a piece that was like a regular stud but flat on the top. Quote
user Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 You could use a hammer... No really It couldn't. But guys wouldn't it be better if there was no square and it was just a short pole that had the diameter of a stud so there wouldn't be a one plate difference? Quote
Rijkvv Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 A mix between the current train buffer beams. Now there is one with round buffers and one with square buffers and a plow. I would like to see one with square buffers but without a plow. Quote
RocketClone Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Id like to see a type of cell phone piece. (TLG uses the obsliete road side phone piece now ) and a new long sword piece for the upcoming kingdoms line! Quote
RileyC Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 How about a SQUIRREL??!!! Ha that would be pretty cool. Quote
Sergiu Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I would like to see a wheel with half or two thirds the width of the 94.8x44 one, but with the same height. Quote
Holodoc Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I didn't read the whole thread , but I hope this wasn't suggested before: We've seen the new "half-arches" in the new Grand Emporium (right under the ceiling there are a lot of those new bricks used). I love those, but they also drove me to the idea to aks for another kind of arch: We already have roman arches like this one: Wouldn't it be great to have gothic arches as well? You know, not a rounded arch, but one with a pointed bow. Like this: I posted that in the pirates thread, but they weren't too excited. Quote

Fugazi Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 A few more suggestions: 1x1 round tile (already mentioned in the Pirates thread) realistic city bus doors (2-piece doors) rubber piece to make articulated (bendy) buses Quote
escortmad79 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Double sided plates Double sided thin plates Decent LED Light bricks (Both Top & side facing bulbs) 4x4 tiles Gothic arches would be fantasic Decent new female torso with curves A new Female skirt piece New hair pieces Inverted arches These bricks with the clip at a 45 degree angle These but with side studs on sides next to each other instead of opposite. Those with the steps going the other way (Ideal for making Routemaster buses) 6 wide versions of these These 2x2 for use with 2x2 macaroni bricks Quote
Holodoc Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 What I meant was this: I hope the pic is now viewable... Double sided platesDouble sided thin plates Could you explain what the difference is? Or did you mean double sided bricks instead of the first item? I wouldn't like 4x4 tiles. I'm even not fond of the new 2x4 tiles. Something you can also build with existing tiles. May it be 2x 1x4 tiles or 2x 2x2 tiles. I don't really see a need for this. Quote
escortmad79 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Could you explain what the difference is?Or did you mean double sided bricks instead of the first item? I mean plate thickness for the first & ultra thin version for the other so it's seemless without the need to have a plate width between them Quote

We don´t need any bigger tiles. However, the new 1 x 3 tile is warmly welcome. Quote
escortmad79 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Thought of a few others: One of those 1 brick wide Plus a few more dog designs (One with its head down & I know it'll NEVER happen from TLG but one cocking its leg!) Quote
escortmad79 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Set of 1x1 minifig roller skates (Might be difficult & fiddly to get 2 sets of small wheels on a 1x1 plate though) Quote
Legorski Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 A great new brick would be a simple 1x5, and 2x5 brick. Plates like so would also be great. I have had so many builds where a 1x5 plate would have been more useful then using 1x2 and 1x3 plates together. TLC get to it! XD Quote

I normally agree with you on this, but tiles in general are often used for stickers and you can put bigger stickers on 2x4 tiles without having a sticker covering multiple parts. The 2x4 tile would have been useful with, for example, the mirror stickers in 8880 or the "1" stickers in 8458. Of course, it would be better if TLG instead just made more printed parts again. Quote
