Scorpion Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Here's a zip file with 3D models of some of my wants: http://rapidshare.com/files/444393238/LEGO_Parts_Survey_3D_Models__Solidworks2010__by_Scorpion.zip Quote
lowbike1 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I would love to have the parts from Barman. They are designed very well and are also very useful. Some examples: X100, I like those curved slopes but they are kinda useless without this part, although to really pull it off you would need a curved brick to follow the corner down the wall (or whatever you are building) and then curved plates as well... CptMugwash Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Hi, not sure if someone has mentioned this, probably but I'll say it anyways. A 1x1 round tile, implications for lights, and printed patterns, would fit flush with the 1x1 cylinder brick. Quote
SilentMode Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 From recent building exploits, here's some more parts I'd want to see: A 2x2 corner tile, like the brick and plate. A 2x3 tile with a single stud - think of the 2x2 tile with a stud, extended in one direction by one stud, but the stud on top would be in the same place. A 4x4 dish-like piece that can sit on top of a plate/brick without adding anything underneath. Quote

It looks kinda rough. The 3D printer TLG uses in Billund for prototyping is top of the line, and some of theirs (early Power Miners prototypes, for example) still look a little out of place compared to LEGO. I know a couple builders do use Shapeways, though, with fairly good results. Quote
jonwil Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I would like to see a piece that's like the 1 x 2 with one stud except that its 1 x 3 with 2 studs. And the same thing but 1 x 4 with 3 studs. Both parts would be very usefull for detailing work and stuff. I want them both in Tan. Quote

Nice, though I do not have the money to try that out... Atleast in the Rapman page they have pictures of LEGO-like brick... Quote

loading... Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 This is the part I want. And this is why I want it. Quote
Sergiu Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I would like some new gears, more exactly a 28-teeth double bevel gear, a 32-teeth spur gear and more clutch gears like the 16-teeth clutch. These gears would allow for a whole lot more possibilities in technic building. Quote
bricked one Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 I don't know if this has been said already but I would like to have a 1x2 plate with one stud off to the side, like 1x1 tile next to a 1x1 plate. would be great for smaller mocs. Quote
Internets Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I'd like studless Curve / Wing pieces. Quote

Elander Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Hi, sadly but true. The Queen Anne's Revenge(Sailing Ship) from the new Pirates of the Caribbean theme hasen't cannon wheels for the cannons on board. I've looked for the wheels at LEGOs "Pic a Brick Shop" and found Rim Narrow W. Hole Ø8 in white. For the cannons we need brown or grey. It would be nice if LEGO put small grey/or brown Rim Narrow-wheels into the "Pic a Brick Shop". So we can create complete cannons. Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 A new rock piece, like the BURPs and LURPs, only in a different shape. Quote
Piranha Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Cool topic Here are some parts that I think everyone would like: (sorry if they have been mentioned already) Deer (Male/Female/Juvenile) Sheep Duck ( like new chicken) Squirrel ( could be like the new chicken part rest on a stud or like a rat) Donkey/Mule Cypress Tree redesign (just a little shorter maybe 1/4 inch) Pony (in new colors) Different Breeds of dogs (or new dog in different colors and markings) Quote

jonwil Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 A part I would like to see is a 1 x 1 x 2 corner panel (that matches with the 1 x 2 x 2 panels) and a 1 x 1 x 3 corner panel (that matches with the 1 x 2 x 3 and 1 x 4 x 3 panels) I want to see it in clear, in trans-light-blue and in trans-black If it hasn't already been mentioned, I also want to see a 1 x 1 tile in clear (it exists but is almost impossible to get) and a 1 x 1 tile in the new trans-orange. And I want the long whip antennas in trans-yellow (the Blacktron 1 color) Quote
Fives Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 A corner cheese slope! That would be quite helpful! Quote
Jargo Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) 1x2x6 vertical flat front window 1x4x2 horizontal flat front window 1x6x3 horizontal flat front window 1x6x5 lattice fence panel 1x4x5 lattice gate 7L straight barbed wire with aglet ends barbed wire 'spring' coil with aglet ends to span 6 stud space BMX bicycle 1x3x4 door Left and right - Open Between Top and Bottom Hinge with window 2x2x6 pillar 2x2 and 2x4 dark blue grey tiles with pitted texture Edited April 14, 2011 by Brickenhead-town-dweller Quote
Mr. McDuck Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 A corner cheese slope! That would be quite helpful! that and inverted cheese slope would be very useful! Quote
brickmack Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 (edited) Not sure if people have posted these or not, I really don't feel like reading through the last 16 pages. Tiles, plates, and bricks that are 5 studs long. A part like the Travis brick, but with studs on all 6 sides. A part like the Travis brick, but with antistuds on the 4 sides where extra studs normally go Collectible minifig stands in other colours (and in normal sets). More cockpit canopies in uncommon colours (Trans-green, trans-yellow, trans-red, etc) Candles Holonomic wheels with Technic axle holes. Not a new part, but LEGO should also start making the old hinge parts (before the click hinges). They have a better range of movement, and seem to be a lot stronger also. This torso in all the colors of the Classic Space minifigs. Edited April 23, 2011 by brickmack Quote
SilentMode Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Some more ideas... Since Lego is sticking with 1x4x6 door frames, it would be great to have more door styles: particularly the glass doors in a non-transparent colour, and these kinds: And, though not new elements, I would make a plea to bring back 1x1 round plates and cones in green.
