Vindicare Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I believe that a 2x2 inverted tile was released in the new wave of Ninjago sets 9448 Samuari Mech, to be exact. Quote
LiamM32 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 There are many ideas that I have for new elements, mostly for Technic. One idea that I have are rotor blades that actually work to make a fan, and possibly even lift a chopper off the ground. This might already be in the new 9396 Helicopter. I have some ideas for Pneumatics. It would be good if there was a corkscrew compressor. That would give a constant flow, and possibly greater efficiency. I would also like an engine cylinder to replace element 2850 that would be compatible with pneumatics. I prefer electric cars in real life, but I find reciprocating engines interesting in Technic. I have ideas for Power Functions; a small rechargeable battery, 2 small motors, and a train charging station. The small battery would be meant to quickly charge and then release, or for trains with the also mentioned charging station. One of the small motors would be for System, more speed less strength. It would be good for multiple-unit trains. The other would be for Technic. It would have lower speed and higher strength. It would be good for turning switches. The train charging station would be a length of track equal to 2 straight tracks. It would recharge trains batteries when the train passes over, if the train has the new pickup brick (also new). Another idea is high-performance wind-up motors for Technic sets. Flywheels would also be good for non-motorized models. Quote
jonwil Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I would like to see this http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=52501 in Light Bluish Grey. Also, one of the new Friends sets has a new part that's similar to this http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=87609 except that its only 2 studs wide. So far I know it exists in Light Bluish Grey, I want some in black. Quote
LegoCloneFanatic Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Why not folded wings like Pharohs Quest but Folded. Do they have to fly 24/7??? Quote
Phoxtane Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 I can probably guarantee that every Technic builder, including me, would snap up a set that re-released the Power Puller rims and tires! Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Here are some wishes for parts which already exist, but not in the according color: - bracelet upper part 33291 in white - bracelet upper part 33291 in regular blue - bracelet upper part 33291 in orange - limb element 2417 in white (had already been produced, but isn't still longer available) - limb element 2417 in lavender - limb element 2417 in yellow - flowers 93081 in blue - flowers 93081 in white - flowers 93081 in lavender Klaus-Dieter Quote
Takanuinuva Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) This piece http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=15100 And this piece http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=87082 But both with there pin holes and pins replaced with Axle holes and Axles Also both pieces but with there pins replaced with axles There have been so many times where I needed an axle version of the first part. The Y piece http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=57585 is an ok substitube but having it with just one axle sticking out would be much more useful. Another thing. Use this piece in black in more sets. Black is more useful for this part than Dark Brown http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=10288 Edited July 8, 2015 by Takanuinuva Quote
Saberwing40k Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I'd like to see some of the new pieces from 42043 in different, more neutral colors, such as the outrigger/crane arm piece in gray or black, and the pneumatics in the same color as well. This would allow both kinds of pieces to be useable in other sets and creations without looking out of place. Quote
General Magma Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I would like to see the olive green grass stalk piece in cheaper sets and, preferably, the PAB walls. They would be fantastic for MOCs and it's great they're finally being made, but it's a shame they had to be put into a large & expensive set. As for entirely new colours, I would also like to see the same piece in dark green and in reddish brown and possibly dark brown. Quote
Lego Dino 500 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 One of my biggest dreams would be for Lego to make 34L flat train car bases, and to use those instead of the current 24L and 28L ones. The current bases are great, but they're disproportionately short for the size of the locomotives and trains. Quote
Vindicare Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 As I begin to sidewalk my town, tiles with curves would be nice. Example, on the curved baseplates currently you'd have staggered plates as a curb instead of a smooth line like you do on straight plates. The outer edge would be difficult to do, given its length. But, the inside edge could be done. There's a curved piece(I think) that could be used on the inside. Also, 90 degree turn plates & straight plates that dead end(studs on 3 sides) would be helpful. monkeyjay2003 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Ooh! A 2x2 plate(3022) with studs on both sides! Also, one with no studs, such as each side is like the bottom of a brick. Also, a one by five plate, a dish with a hole on top and stud inside, and a halved 30615. Quote
896gerard Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Somebody told me to post my (3D printed) idea on this topic to let Lego make it. Well, here is the topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114691&hl= It is a part to realize 3 or more drive axles through one standard size turntable and 2 axles through a small turntable. This is a copy of my own post: To get a better idea of the part, you can find some photos here: All photo's can be found on: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/419288 in a higher resolution. The CAD drawing assembly: This design is extenable to bigger versions, I think that up to 5 or 6 axles would fit through the turntable. The only problem is connecting all gears in a robust way: to 'get to the gears', the outer gears have to get a bigger diameter and the problem of space-consumivity is back. I found that the three axle design really was a good optimization between robustness, way of accessing the gears and maximum transported torque through them. A YouTuber has made the 4 axle solution in just about 1 evening, this shows how scalable the design is. Photos: It is my hope that the Lego group takes over this idea and starts producing it, because especially the three-axle option ore the two-axles through the small turntable could be very useful in an upcoming Lego flagship. So, if you happen know someone at the Lego Technic department, please give him/her a good impression of the idea! Quote
SenJos Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Hello together... 896gerard postet my print from his great idea...yesterday evening I modeled the 6 axle version and printed it over night. The peaces you see are right out of the printer... They run very smoothly. and have the size of a 20t gear and 9.5cm long. I hope that the Lego group will make this peaces. I'm working on a solution that it makes possible to use the same peaces to get the axles count from 2 to 6. Quote

Takanuinuva Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I'd love to see a technic 1x1 brick with an axle hole instead of a pin hole. Quote

The part about the Pick-A-Brick Walls especially. Quote
JanetVanD Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Someone has probably already said this one, but even so, it would be worth saying again: masonry bricks for corners!!! Quote
