Signed!

I loved the them but didn't have the money to buy every set. If there was one more set I would definitely buy it!

I would love the temple outside Alexandreta where the find the holy grail because its the last scene in the original trilogy.

I say LEGO makes a bunch of LEGO Indy must-haves including the 3 of those choices too! Know who is with me on that?:sweet: But, if that doesn't happen, I say the Nepal Bar scene. SIGNED!

Heck yeah do I sign. So many missing sets and characters... Sallah... Marcus... the Tank... the Train... young Indy... the Himallayan bar... the Map Room...

I'll buy whatever they make.

David.

As much as I'd love more sets I think it's over for now. Ultimately what persaudes TLG is the volume of sales and we must have failed there.

Sorry to say, I think there's been too many petitions so I'm going to merge this with the existing Indy discussion.

I absolutely want more Indy sets, but I do have to ask...

The title says it all. No new sets in 2010, probably discontinued. But if we get some 500+ votes and some attention, maybe they make an exclusive S&H set.

If you don't mind my asking, how do you know they'll consider doing a final set if they get 500+ votes in a forum thread, and how did you decide upon those three as the choices?

That said, I'll play along and say I want those, too. If I absolutely had to pick one, I'd say probably the tank (and the rest of that scene), since that should mean getting not only a cool vehicle with lots of functionality and detail, but also three or four important characters who don't have any minifigs at all (at least outside the videogames) - Marcus, Sallah, Vogel and Donovan. But I very much want the other set ideas here, as well - and Kha's tomb, the safari in British East Africa, the tour along the Great Wall of China, the Dunn & Duffy circus train, the Model T / Bugatti chase, the attack on Ciudad Guerrero, the "Phantom Train," the balloon, the riverboat on the Belgian army's mission to get arms from Port Gentil, a Lafayette Escadrille flier or two, the elephant trek to Pankot Palace, part of Pankot Palace itself, the showdown on the rope bridge, the Pan-Am seaplane, the map room, the staff car from the truck chase, the Coronado, the tombs under Venice, the Grail temple, the car chase and/or cabin confrontation in 1950 Wyoming, the rocket sled, the chase around the Marshall campus - you name it! There's tons more that could be done from this theme (and which would make for great sets), and with the 30th anniversary of the series in 2011, it would be the ideal time to relaunch the theme after its hopefully brief hiatus.

I don't think these petitions mean much... it's just that so many of us want to ask Lego to continue one theme or another, and this is the only outlet we have.

And after we've signed the petition, we can feel nice and secure knowing that we've done all that we possibly can to encourage Lego to meet our wishes.

Actually, I think a Universal Yearly Survey would make sense. Instead of having a petition for everything, there could be questions like 'what three themes would you most like to be continued' and 'of those three themes, what models in particular do you want to see'.

And then the survey results can be compiled and forwarded to the Lego company. It would give TLC a more realistic idea of what AFOLS are interested in.

Hi there, Blondie! I am sorry, but I opened a new topic with the idea to collect a lot (200, 500, 1000, ...?) of votes to get at least one final set. Cause the instruction and idea was hidden in the title and since it got eventually merged with this, it got a bit vague, the whole story. And since it got lost in the discussion thread, there is no chance to collect votes anymore. My idea was to send it to TLC at some point or let the moderators do it. (I have some connection with TLC, but I am sure they have better ones.) Sure, I don't believe it would work that well, they don't listen only to fans but first of all to their market analysts. Thats the reason for new pirates, the Cafe Corner and the Tauntaun, just to name a few. Sure I am not idealistic or stupid, but it is by far my favorite theme and I would have regretted it not to have tried it. Too bad the topic was merged after one day and the whole idea was useless.

The set examples were just meant as to encourage people to vote. "You want this? Then give me your vote!" Kinda like this, you know? And I chosed one of each of the old movies, the one people mentioned the most, and didn't care about the Crystal Scull. Just cause people were not asking too much, no personal reason..

Hope it explains it a bit, cheeers!

EDIT: spelling
