Capt. Kirk Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 (edited) EDIT POST 1 !!! Sorry that some members didn\\\'t see the first Sig-banners, but I was making them smaller like ImperialShadows asked. So I had to delete the first ones on Flickr. But now they\\\'re back and even more then the first time. Members who want to use them...feel free. If you want the Sig-banner smaller then you go to my Flickr photostream... here you can choose your size from Medium to Small (even thumbnail). Hope you like them ! EDIT POST 2 !!! I made new ones with a transparent background (or put the old ones with a transparent background)... You can download them in a smaller size at my Flickr photostream... I hope you like them and see you all at the end of april !!! EDIT POST 3 !!! The Sig. Banners are replace to another server and here they will stay. Sorry for the inconvenience. Feel free to use. Shadows Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I like them, except for a few minor things. First, the water. Any chance of it being a solid colour? Second, the borders. The last two have unnecessary borders. For example, the blue one is 562x180, when it only needs to be 548x140. Beyond that, if you could also offer them in about half that size, it would probably be better for sig use. People like to abuse their sigs and someone will want to use 3 of those and end up huge. Good job! Quote

Skipper 24 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Excellent work Capt. These are brilliant, the You Tube channel one reminds me of Mickey Mouse though . Quote
Zorro Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Could you please make them a tad smaller as Imperialshadows suggested and I will put Bluecoats Rule in my sig immediatly. Thanks, mate, you are doing an outstanding job! Quote
Ratshot Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Hey these are awesomely great. I think we should make them into bumber stickers Quote
General Armendariz Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I cant see them Im pretty sure the one Zorro was talking about will be great! Quote
Skipper 24 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I cant see them Im pretty sure the one Zorro was talking about will be great! Yes for some reason Flickr says they are currently unavailable. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Yeah, I can't see them as well. I'm sure I'll keep an eye on this thread though. Perhaps they need to be moderated or something? I'm not on Flickr so I can be wrong of course. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted March 8, 2009 Eurobricks Emperor Posted March 8, 2009 I also can't see any of them. Seems some Flickr issue. Can you upload them to Brickhelf or Maj.com and link from there? Quote
General Armendariz Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 There back And they look great!!! :pir-skull: Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted March 9, 2009 Author Posted March 9, 2009 I made a mistake...will make them transparent on the end of next week. See You all, Kurt Quote
General Armendariz Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Oh good! I knew something was wrong. Quote
Scouty Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I think you did a fantastic job one the Imperial Guard and Imperial Soldier banners. The gradient is just lovely. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Ah, I can see them now and they are fabulous! My favorite is the Bluecoats Rule! With the beautiful Fleur de lys behind it...My favorite symbol ever. Great, great job on them! Quote
Logbo Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Nice work. I just made my new one tonight. Exo force was just so last year. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I'm planning to make a sig with the Fleur de Lys, but it must have something to do with pirates, and a skull doesn't really fit with the Fleur de Lys. But I try to finish it. Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 Thanks all for the positive vibes... I will see that I can re-make them with a transparent background at the end of this week. If someone have a request... just let me know. Grtz, kurt @ Logbo: nice job I'm planning to make a sig with the Fleur de Lys, but it must have something to do with pirates, and a skull doesn't really fit with the Fleur de Lys. But I try to finish it. Take a skull and put a bandana on his head with a print of "fleur de lys" on it. If you can't make it... I be happy to do it for you. Quote
Rijkvv Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Great job! One question though: Dead from Beneath: shouldn't it be Death? Like in Death Star? If I'm wrong, then forget what I said... Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I think it should be Death indeed. I didn't even noticed that too. Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 One question though: Dead from Beneath: shouldn't it be Death? Like in Death Star? That is possible… but English isn't my native language... that Flemish. However I thought that it was something like the difference in spelling (English or American). Such as color & colour. Can someone say what the correct spelling is ?!? Quote
Rijkvv Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 (edited) Maybe I can explain in Dutch. "Dead" is meer dood, iemand is dood, een dode, als je zo Dead Star zou schrijven, betekent het "Dode Ster". "Death" heeft te maken met de dood, in hetzelfde voorbeeld Death Star betekent "Ster des Doods". Ik denk dat ik het zo op de juiste manier heb gezegd en ik hoop dat je het begrijpt. Some more examples: "Mars is a dead planet"; "dead soil"; "dead coals"; "the fire is dead" "the animal died a painful death" Edited March 13, 2009 by Richie Quote
