I used to get a magazine called Lego Adventurers, and in fact I have every issue! It was an official Lego magazine and always had brilliant comic strips and building ideas. It ran from 1999-2001 Apparently it was only sold in England (my country), Denmark, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

My favourite issue.

This is the only webpage I can find about it.

Did anyone else here on Eurobricks get this interesting magazine?

:skull:

It was available in Poland too! I had al collection, unfortunatelly... I lost it...

I remember "3D" Comics and briliant ideas!

Ooh, Poland too! Sad you lost them... I have mine neatly filed in a bookshelf.

Yep. I really loved those comics, probably because I love the Lego theme storylines. I might scan them sometime so other people can see.

Yes, when I was younger I got a few and several were left over from my brothers. They were really fun magazines but I always thought the kids pictured were really creepy.

I bought the Dino Island issue when I was on holiday in Ireland.

It retained some of the educational aspects of the earlier Lego World Club Magazines (there was an article on dinosaur skeletons), whilst being fun at the same time.

However, it was a bit expensive, so I only ever bought the one, as there wasn't anything really special about it. I also preferred the actual Lego photos in the old World Club magazines, rather than the drawings in these.

Please tell me you still have these magazines. My son too collected them and featured as ‘Builder of the month’ in one issue. We had a discussion about this very recently (he is now 24) and I found out to my surprise he never got the last issue, number 34. I’d love to get a copy of it or even a photocopy. I’ve contacted Lego directly and they don’t have it. Please let me know if you can help

I don't have 34, but if It'd be helpful to you, I do have a couple earlier issues I have scanned here. There are a couple other issues on brickshelf beyond those as well, uploaded by some other people - you should be able to find them by just running a search for 'Adventures Magazine.'

Do you/your son still have your copies of the magazine? There were a few Bionicle comics that I know appeared in them that I'm really eager to see, but I've never been able to track down the issues that have them. If you'd be able to get pictures of those comics, I'd be over the moon.

Hello Tazakk, thank you for replying. I have all 33 issues of the magazines, it is just number 34 I’m missing. I have done a lot of Internet searches with no luck ?Hopefully someone else can still help. I do have some  extra magazines, I will check if they are Bionicle

Hello Tazakk

We do have some Bionicle magazines, the earliest is April 2001. I took photos with a view to uploading them on the website but they are too large a file. ?

Ah, that's too bad! Thank you for trying all the same, I appreciate it.

Good luck finding issue 34! If I'm ever lucky enough to come across it, I will let you know.

Hello Tazakk

Can I email you the photos via this site?

Possibly, I don't know much about how this site works in that regard. As another option, you might be able to put the photos on a separate image hosting site, like Imgur, and then just post a link to them here.

I remember this magazine. In Russia, there was a version called "LEGO Samodelki" (translated roughly as "LEGO MOCs") that ran from January 2000 to March 2002, and I have all the issues.

LEGO Самоделки - Детские журналы - Детские журналы

In comparison with the original Adventures, Samodelki was a bit adapted (for example, it included MOCs sent by Russian children) and lacked some early issues and features such as stickers. Nevertheless, the magazine was really good with CGI comics, board games, information about sets and facts about the real world around us. As a Russian child who lacked Internet access in early 2000s, I learned very much LEGO lore precisely from Samodelki. Too bad it existed only for two years and three months.
