SirNadroj Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 All purist (except for Dr. Manhattan, of course!) From left to right: The Comedian, Ozymandias, Dr. Manhattan, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Rorschach See all seperate pictures here: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/103174 Quote
General Armendariz Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Wow, I just watched the movie yesterday and I say that looks great! Quote
Mariann Asanuma Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Nice! Good representations of all the characters. Quote
AwesomeStar Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Not being old enough to see the movie I'm pretty peeved, but great representation of the gang! Ima big fan of the graphic novels and this really put a smile on my smile. -A.S. Quote
Shoc Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Ooh, nice! Watchmen's my favourite novel, so I know what they're meant to look like, and these are pretty good representations! I especially like Dr Manhattan and The Comedian. Rorschach's face doesn't look quite right though, maybe you could use a decal? Great job on these great characters anyway! :skull: Quote
Ronan Nissen Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Loved the movie! Loved the book! Loved your creation! In Ireland it only 16 age rating so Im only 14 and I got in! P.S.You might want to put the hydrogen atom on Dr. Manhattan's forehead. Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Very good and creative. I see you photoshopped Dr. Mannhatten so I think you should rid of his pupils like he does in the movie. Great work. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 That's cool. They look good. I'm planning a Rocket Redglare and a Tharg, maybe going to try modding a Jack Stone into Smax. I like Alan Moore's work Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Very nice work - the Comedian is the most accurate. Quote
united brick Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 wow i love the comidean to bad he died Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 wow i love the comidean to bad he died Thank you. Thank you for ruining it. Quote
mania3 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 wow i love the comidean to bad he died Yeah, jeeze. Come on. Quote
Algernon Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Yeah, jeeze. Come on. That's hardly a spoiler. He dies in the first few seconds of the film. Quote
RangerBob Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 The comedian looks awesome. And your Silk Specter shows more emotions than the Actress in the Movie Quote
Bobskink Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I really like them, but one comment, since you're not going real purist on Dr Manhattan, you might aswell make a non purist face for Rorsach, that would really make this set perfect. It can't be that difficult. So, is the movie any good? And no whinning about spoilers kids, when you are going to see a movie adaptation from a book or comic, spoilers are alowed (and you should also be ashamed you didn't red the book or comic first). I agree, TLC need to make a hat like his [cant think of name] & maybe a coat from MMCB on him would look good. Quote
Tinn-man Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I would have used a black clone accessory thing for the comedian's cigar. Even if it would be the wrong color, I think it might look better than the cut off tube. They're still amazing, though . I like them, and I haven't even seen the film. Quote
Legoking Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Wow, you really out did yourself this time. These minifigs look exactly like the real ones in the movies. Good Job! LegoKing Quote
Skipper 24 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 (edited) Great customs even though I have no idea of who these awesome looking guys are . Anyone else notice them on Gizmodo? Edited March 15, 2009 by Skipper 24 Quote
