Interesting to see how well this topic has survived since I left it. I thought I might have a little peak back in.

I'm not exactly a pro but I had a go at a fair few in the early pages of this topic and a helpful tip for smooth colour transition on markings and shading is to zoom in as far as possible on the image while on paint, and then click in the pixels individually. The darker colours go on the edge and you should slowly fill in lighter shades of that colour on the markings. I know it sounds laborious but it does produce some great results even from people like me.

Another tip is when making markings on curved parts of armour, remember to follow the contours of the piece accordingly with the markings. This will give a much more professional look to the figures, and will minimise the straight lines that travel across the gaps in amour.

Welcome back, crazy. That's very true, thanks for sharing the tip! That's how I make mine.

Nice job, Mr Man!

darthnihilus, I suggest you pay attention to what the crazy one said above. It should help to produce smoother-looking clones. I think you should make your Cody a bit more orange as well.

Welcome back ADHO15!!!!!

So I have a few requests that have been building up for a while..... (These are just suggestions, you dont have do them all, and im not expecting them to be made anytime soon)

Thanks a lot, CTS. I might get round to making some of them soon. :classic:

I thought I'd have another try this morning, so here are the Series Four Wolfpack:

Yeah, I know what you mean. It looks orange on my screen, but now that I look at it on Flickr, it's yellow.

I'll put an update soon!

UPDATE: Final version of Cody, now working on Gree.

Yes that's how I make mine as well.

Thanks , I'm quite proud of the Sith Trooper.

Nice job on Cody, however the arm aerial could do with being a little shorter. Also maybe crop your images closer, I'm having to zoom in to see them .

You where away :hmpf::tongue:.

Matchstick is great .

How close are you to re uploading all the old clones that where spread out between multiple places?

*were  Sorry, I had to.

Thank you very much. I made him and the others a long time ago, but just cleaned them up a bit and gave them new life support box things.

I did this with all the other pilots too, so expect to see those soon.

Spread out? How do you mean?

I'll update them and re-upload them all ASAP. :classic:

Were , fast typing and no homophone corrector.

In an old post you mentioned the reason you removed the clones in the first place was because you had then spread between 2 BS accounts and your hard drive etc.

 Well remembered! Even I'd forgotten!

For anyone who's interested, I'm now keeping them on my ADHO15 Brickshelf account. It won't be public whilst I keep adding new clones.

First of all, Very nice job on all of those clones ADHO!!!!

And you're welcome for Contrail :classic:

And here are a few more requests/ideas

Thank you very much, CTS. Some nice finds. However, I think I'll wait til I've seen the episodes so I have more reference material.

Hammer and Havoc are in the index already under Phase II ARC Troopers.

Thanks again. :classic:

I posted Comet earlier on this page. You can see from the shape of the visor that isn't a 'BARC helmet', though I may need to update him further when I see that episode.

Inspired by 'Nomad Droids' (which was awful)...

Wolpack tank gunner (sorry about the pic's quality)

Wolfpack gunner

Thanks a lot. Glad you like them. :classic:

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't know where to begin making him. I'd need much more reference material for that, so I'll leave that one.

Thanks anyway.

It looks like a normal gunner with a orange face mask with fangs on both cheeks.

Gree, Cody, and the start of Bly:

Surely that's the phase 1 armour colours of Gree there on a Phase 2 body .

Good job though, a little more work on the shading though .

Yeah, but I'll need a more reliable reference to make an accurate representation for him. :sceptic:

Where did you get those templates, darthnihilius?

I made Gree as I thought he would be in Season 4, I might update him with silver instead of white.
