I made them... :sceptic:

Anyway, love the new ones, perfect versions would have their heads, but helmets are fun too.

PS I said 2 originals, so I wouldn't be included. And you've been doing these for 3ish-4ish years, right?

The ones darth uses are made by you from mine, aren't they? Anyway, I'm not going to stress the point because I'm not bothered where they came from.

Thank you very much. I'll get round to doing their heads soon.

No, I know, but I was just stating that lots of other people posted theirs here before Mr Man or yourself. The first post says March 2009 so I guess since around then. Doesn't time fly?

Anyway, the newest in my 'ARC Commando' series:

ARC Commando (Green Comp.):

Nice job. I agree that the Republic insignia should be larger.

Thank you. Great work on your clones. Great helmet on Hawk. I'm still trying to get mine to look right. I can't wait to see what else your going to release.

Thanks a lot. :sweet: I look forward to seeing your version.

I don't like the TCW style so I try to keep everything looking film style, just to create some consistency.

I forgot to comment on that point. Thanks for the compliment but ADHO has been making these since 2009, I have as well but I wasn't a member then and my early attempts are less than successful when compared with my newer work, whereas ADHO's work has been consistently great from the start.

Ah BMP's I use PNG's mainly because most places don't let you upload BMP's, incidentally ADHO what scale do you increase them by?

For the AT-RT/ARF Cross did you use the image darthnihilius posted a few pages back if so the trooper has the upside down v blue shape that all other 501st troopers have. See here.

Same here really. That's why I haven't made new fins or other details that differ between TCW and the films.

 You're too kind! I'd say that your work has always been very good. I've improved a lot too, I'm sure.

I just make them one and a half times as big so they're a bit easier to get a good look at.

Thanks for re-posting the link. I really just posted the others unfinished to accompany Hawk. I'll work on them some more soon.

Thanks . Those officers are only the oldest I could find, I have some even older truly awful ones that I can't find.

I might try that :classic:.

Deviss was in Hawkbat Battalion ah I didn't know that, good looking 327th Star Corps troopers .

Are the green bits on the arms Republic Logos, if so they could do with been a bit bigger. I quite like your ARC Commando's.

Yeah, I tried to make Republic logos, didn't work out so well. :sceptic: I'm glad you like them, I quite enjoy drawing them on Paint, and it's a relatively quick process. :classic:

Oh, and I forgot to say this in my last post:

Exellent work everyone, glad to see ARC Commander Sparky back, and CC-0666Grenade is doing quite good clones as well. :thumbup:ADHO's work is as good as always, and Mr. Man has been doing great on those officers. :sweet: I continue to be inspired by all of you, so keep up the wonderful work! :excited:

I was perhaps wondering if you could do any mandalorians? I'd really like to see Pre Visla and the Death Watch. Good job again on all your great work

Well here is a Mando Template I knocked up (not THAT way ) today, it's obviously based on Bobba, but I can recolour it and a shoulder capes etc. What does anyone think of it?

Edit: It would help if I actually posted the link .

*oh2* AWESOME JOB ADHO!!! The one suggestion I would make would be that the 501st at-rt driver needs the design on his chest, but other than that these are some really good looking clones.

And Mr. Man, the mando template is great! If you decide to make anymore mandos I'd love to see the visla and the death watch mando from CW up soon if you had the time. Maybe add a little leg armor for any future mandos though, that would be my only suggestion. Great job again!

On a side note I can't wait to start posting characters up

Thought you might. Personally I think your method of presenting several real-scale ones together in a grid looks better.

Cheers!

I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing them!

501st Legion ARF Trooper (Phase II - 501st Legion)

501st_legion_arf_trooper.jpg

I decided he was more of a Phase II ARF Trooper than an AT-RT driver. Hopefully he looks better now.

Thanks Dpaduwan. This one is only a template so I was sure I had the helmet and chest armour correct, there the hardest bits and I needed to see what people thought first, I can now add to it to make other Mandos.

Updated:501st Legion ARF Trooper (Phase II - 501st Legion)

I decided he was more of a Phase II ARF Trooper than an AT-RT driver. Hopefully he looks better now.

Maybe you're right, I might stick to this way, this way I'm only saving one copy and not the real scale and the increased ones.

Thanks :classic:.

I thought it was a Phase II ARF Trooper, is it similar enough to be an AT-RT Driver? The other thing is the Phase II Hawk, that was silly of them to make that new armour rather than using the ROTS Pilot armour.

That reminds me ADHO, do you have the stealth ship pilot?

I think it's good having mid-points to show how things evolve. Like the fighter between the ARC-170 and the Z-95, these progressing stages of pilot helmet, etc.

The Phase II ARF Trooper seems so have kept the single visor, the visor covering and the shape of the top of the helmet, whereas the AT-RT driver has to separate visors (one for each eye), a reduced visor shade and a more domed helmet.

Not yet. I need to make a new helmet model for him and the Phase I ARC-170 pilots.

It makes sense for the ARF/AT-RT Trooper, but not for the pilot the Phase II Hawk is nothing like a midpoint between Phase one and the ROTS helmet.

Well I used the ridged top and rounded sides of the ROTS pilot helmet to start with when making Hawk's. I guess the rest of the facial area doesn't look much like a ROTS pilot helmet, but it does looks like the Stealth Ship pilot's helmet and the helmet of the Phase I ARC-170 pilot, so I can see where the designs came from and it works as a mid-point, IMO.

Thanks. It's basically the Stealth Pilot but in blue and white instead of black.

Hmmmmmm, I wonder if both these pilots are Phase 1 1/2? That would explain the Phase 1-like helmet combined with the gear of a Phase 2 clone pilot. Back on topic, ADHO, may I use Hawk to make that pilot? :classic:

Hmm yes this seems quite likely with Stealth Pilot as phase I, and Hawk as phase II.

Using Sparky's template, I made two commandos. One is custom, the other just a plain white. Without further ado, here they are:

clone_commando_template.png

This one is the plain white one. I just made it because Sparky didn't.

501st_commando.png

This one is the custom. I made it because my favorite commandos are Scorch and Niner, so I combined their markings and made him. I think that he looks pretty good. :sweet:

Thanks, I originally was going to just do blue, but I decided to put a little more of Scorch in him. After I did one armor plate in that orange-yellow, I could see that the colors looked good together, so I added a little more of the yellow. I'm very pleased with the result. :sweet:

Next, Fixer + Darman!

Yep, that's my plan. While ADHO makes the whole army all by himself, I make all the commandos all by myself. Anyway, finished Fixer/Darman:

*oh2* I work quick! :poke:

It looks great but the rank badge is a bit cockeyed, I think the two squares need to be moved over to the right a bit.

Yeah, I'll update him later. In the meantime, here's Boss/Atin:

EDIT: Oh and by the way, I just got these from Sparky's Brickshelf, then changed the colors from white to grey. Sorry if you thought that they were mine.

This is exactly what I was saying above about the evolution of the pilot helmet!

Great commandos, darthnihilius! I'll get around to making them one day.

And I'll be making that pilot soon, but feel free to have a go from Hawk if you want.

Sorry to be off topic, but has anyone seen the new episode of TCW? I wish Krell could meet my Alpha-class ARC Trooper Appo. Krell likes pushing the clones around, so I think he hasn't met an ARC Trooper that was trained by Fett. Does anyone like Krell? I like that he uses two double bladed lightsabers, but that is the only thing I like about him at all.

Back on topic.

Here is my Navy Admiral Jeroboam Sebeka. He serves with Gokai Dragunaz. He likes Gokai, but he hates that Gokai and Grenade are always rushing off to get in the middle of combat and often has to rescue them.

jeroboam_sebeka.png

This is CC-0501 Kable. He is a captain that works closely with Sebeka. Since Grenade started life as a private, he feels that he does not have the experience to lead space combat. So he lets Kable run the space aspect of war in his place.

cc-0501_kable.png

Kable wears the chest plate if he ever has to go ground side to rescue Gokai and Grenade.
