CC-0666Grenade Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Looking great everyone. A-28 Shifter. The Alpha-class ARC Trooper Shifter served with Appo and Kando. He became friends with Gokai Dragunaz. Shifter sacrificed his life to save the 33rd Shadow Company by blowing up a reactor to stop advancing Separatists droids that out numbered the clones 15-1. After the battle was won, Gokai found what was left of Shifter's body and armor. After Appo gave Gokai a new ARC prototype helmet and a new left forearm piece, Gokai started to wear the armor with a Mandalorian chest plate his father had given him before his death. Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Finished two more, one an experiment, the other an update: First off, Dogma is finally done, since I found good reference (StarWars.com), so I redid him, this time with battle damage and correct markings. Pic is link to Flickr page. Second, the experiment. I made a background for this one, and I also did some experiments with striping. Again, pic is link to Flickr page. C&C welcome! Hardcase is next (I know I've said that a lot and it didn't get done, but I'm having some trouble with him. ) Quote
CloneTrooperSergeant Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Excellent work ADHO! I like seeing the clones with weapons... maybe I'll try that with my clones too. And... Comet's Wookiepedia page says that he has a set of dark blue armor, like the color Wolffe has, of his normal grey set of armor. Also, Alpha-2 Squad The one with the pauldron is their captain, the others are just troopers Quote
CC-0666Grenade Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 (edited) More Clone Troopers Hunter Squad, Havok Platoon, 33rd Shadow Company Sergeant CS-6598 Sarge CT-2056 Striker CT-2058 Eight CT-2709 O'nine (pronounced Oh nine) CT-2857 Bruiser CT-6601 Slot. There are 32 marks on his phase 1 armor. There are 79 on his phase 2 armor. Since I use such a small template, I had to figure out how to do killmarks. The little marks equals five, since clone trooper usually tallie their kills in fives. The 32 marks equals 160 killmarks. The 79 marks equals 395 killmarks CT-6602 Viper. Viper and Slot are batch mates and have been together since Kamino All Hunter Squad troopers are trained in ARC skills by Appo. Hunter Squad usually accompanies Vengeance Squad on missions. Hunter Squad completed many successful missions. All but Viper were killed when their gunship exploded during the invasion when the 315th was massacred the second time. I haven't figured out all of the battles the 315th have participated in yet. When I do, I will straighted out my timeline, and I will release it so that my descriptions will make more sense. Darth Nihilus Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 (edited) Here's my complete set of pilots and engineers. What do you think? Wow, that's great. I especially like the Phase II engineer. Nice job everybody, I'm currently working to find a good HR pic of Rex so I can update his armor with battle scarring. I'll post him here when I'm done. EDIT: Sort of a tablescrappy thing, I made this in about 5 minutes: EDIT 2: ARC Troopers! As always, pics are links to bigger versions on Flickr. Edited December 2, 2011 by Darth Nihilus Quote

CC-0666Grenade Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Great looking clones everyone. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see your next releases. I've updated my Jedi with my new ARC Trooper leg armor. And I've added damage to him from his fight with Vader, which he dies during. Any C&C welcome. This is the 1st time I've added damage to one of my characters that isn't scars. Let me know what any of you think. Quote

This is the 1st time I've added damage to one of my characters that isn't scars. Let me know what any of you think. It looks pretty good, but a little too flat, if you know what I mean. The scars on your characters are amazing, but the cuts need to bend with the shape of the character. If they look straight and neat, they take away from the overall look of him. The other thing is that when people are beat up, they get bruises as well as cuts. Also, just so everyone gets what my next batch is going to be, Shadows in the Dark will be shadow trooper versions of named characters against a black background. Quote

I was trying to show blood leaking from his cuts. Right now this is just a 1st try. As I practice more and find the right colors, he will improve. Here is one of my clones that I've updated. I've tried to give him a 5'o-clock shadow look. Let me know how you all think it looks. C&C welcome Quote

A question, though: I am updating Rex with battle scarring and pitting on his armor, and I'm also going to update his face. So, in Season 4, are there any good pictures of Rex's face in good light? Because, frankly, I can only find blurry, dark episode stills. Edited December 4, 2011 by Darth Nihilus Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Okay, after the epic crash-and-burn of Shadow in the Dark Rex, which I will not post here to preserve what little pride I have left, I have decided to make a new series that is sure to amaze: Through the Ages. I will be making all the versions of a character in one document and then post it here. Here's the first, Echo Through the Ages: As always, pic is link to bigger version on Flickr. C & C welcome! ADHO15 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 There has been an awful lot of activity since my last post, so I'll just say a general 'well done' to Grenade, Nihilus and Mr Man. Really good work on the whole! Grenade's custom designs are as well-made and detailed as always. Nihilus is certainly improving. The recent clones have been great. Mr Man's pilots weren't completely accurate, but still looked very good. Thanks a lot to CTS for all of his help and ideas! Do you happen to have references for all of those 212th troopers, by any chance? Added: Rishi Group Commander (Phase I - Rishi Group) Cooker (Phase I - Rishi Group) Rishi Group Trooper (Phase I - Rishi Group) Rishi Group AT-RT Driver (Phase I - Rishi Group) Updated: 501st Legion Trooper (Phase II - 501st Legion) In the comic, the 'Rishi Group AT-RT Driver' above looked like a Phase I version of an AT-RT driver, so I decided to make him that way. He wasn't an ARF trooper, and he had to be Phase I, so there's a new design. Quote
CloneTrooperSergeant Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) first of all, ADHO, I think you can read my mind because I was just about to upload pics of the Rishi Group to brickshelf so I could request them... And I must say, You did an outstanding job on all of them EDIT: heres the source for the 212th: Cato Neimodia Garrison Edited December 5, 2011 by CloneTrooperSergeant Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 First of all, thank you, ADHO. Your comments really mean a lot to me. And, I was facepalming myself when I looked at Fives again, because I forgot his torso markings and his face! So, I re-uploaded him! Here's Fives-Through the Ages(Updated): C&C welcome. ARC Commander Sparky Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Wow, lots of work going on, I'm about to flood my page. Nihlius, (probably totally spelled wrong), Echo in both ARC and 501st trooper forms has the crest, or fin, colored in on his helmet. I did that a while ago, I don't really know why it is so hard to see (not pickin on you, I did say I did it too). Quote
