Hello all.

After a long while, I've carried on with my MS Paint clones and found a few more to make. Here they are:

Great work, as usual, ADHO15! ) :classic::thumbup:

That's a great amount of work, you're doing there! Are there any clone characters you haven't done yet? ) :classic:

Please, do keep it up! I'm looking forward to seeing more from you! ) :classic:

Where did you find the original clone. I noticed they are all the same guy with different colors.

I love the variations though, and the faces have great detail.

Thank you very much again, Penguin. :sweet: Hopefully, there'll be another batch along soon.

I think I've said earlier in this thread that I made the original and then I just recolour to make all the different designs.

I'm glad you like them. Thanks, Big Cam. :classic:

I love this one! :wub::wink:

Thanks a lot, CCA. I hoped you might.

Feel free to use it in your profile or avatar, if you wish. I know CommanderFox has his in his profile.

As always, I appreciate all your comments, be them good or bad, and am open to both real and custom requests.

Thanks!

Wow, those clones never cease to amaze me, and whent they eventually do, I think to how long it must have taken to do them on MS PAINT and I'm amazed again.

You sure make good clones on your first try of them: There's nothing wrong with him at all!

Could I use the new Delta as my profile picture?

Off-Topic::: We raced in Motorstorm yesterday, maybe next week? Did you mean I was the amatuer or you were?

Even though I won, I thought I lost the race when you overtook me on the second lap.

P.S. If you ever get tired of clones, go on to stormtroopers or droids...

Edit: If it is not okay to use this picture than just say so please.

I'm stunned as well! These are really neat. MS Paint has always been a difficult program for me to use. I used to use it to make animated Sonic the Hedgehog .gifs way back in the day so I appreciate the craftmanship even if I don't like Star Wars :-P. Great job!

You're too kind, Delta!

Of course. I made him for you.

Sure we can race again. We'll have more time now I've done the update.

I was meaning I was an amateur because I hadn't played for months.

But then you knocked me out of the way spinning round when you crashed into me in your big truck.:grin:

Who's to say I haven't already?

I'm glad to have a new fan.

Good day, everyone! :classic:

I'm finding now that there are very few clone troopers left to remake on MS Paint, and am running out of ideas. I know I've yet to do clone commandos as several of you have requested, and production is still underway with them.

As some of you may have realised, I've already made a few custom clones from the imaginations of fellow members. I like doing this as well, and have decided to start a competition.

To enter, all you need to do is post a detailed description of the armour you would like to wear if you were a clone trooper. You need to give yourself a clone-style nickname and a rank.

In your description, you should describe helmet, torso, arm and leg patterns, accessories and colours. If you wish for something that you can see already one an existing clone, you can tell me and I'll copy it and/or change the colour to suit you. You are welcome to post your own pics of drawings, LEGO figs, etc with your desired design. You should be specific about colours, as there can be several different shades of one colour, and I want to get it right.

When all entries have been completed by me, you will judge each others and a winner will be picked. You cannot vote for your own entry. The winner will recieve 15 points in my sig game. (I'm sorry I can't provide anything better, but I'm just an average collector like you with a small budget for LEGO.)

Please post any questions you have here. Thanks.

Let the competition commence! :sweet:

How cool. :sweet: I'm not all that into the different clone markings and such, but here goes nothing.

Helmet: Phase II Clone trooper, narrow, sharp visor (neon green, same color as Gree's visor), jaw armor spikes down on both sides with phase I style visor ends ending at the end of the spikes. What I mean by phase I style visors is like this one on the right:

delta2.jpg

...and six (three on each side) diagonal black stripes starting at the middle top of the helmet (near the fin), going outwards at about a 45 degree angle, crossing the the visor at the eyes. The rest of the helmet is light grey. Also, the cheek bone part should be a little inverted, so that the helmet isn't so fat looking like some Phase II helmets. A quick sketch? I'll see if I can draw one and take a pic of it.

Armor: Shoulder, knee, and elbow armor should be the same shade of black as stripes on helmet. Cloth underneath armor should be lighter shade of black. Three stripes on each side of torso in the same fashion as the helmet stripes. Belt should be all be all black. Hand armor black.

Accessories: Should be holding a regular blaster rifle (the small kind). DC- something.

Name: Night Owl

Rank: Sergeant

Thanks for doing this, ADHO15. It must take a lot of work to take all of these requests that you'll be getting. :sweet:

Sounds confusing, but I'll do my best.

A rough sketch would be greatly appreciated.

By accessories, I mean kamas, pauldrons, visors, bandolier, etc. I've not designed any guns yet.

Sounds good overall. I'll attempt it a little later on.

As the only entry so far, you stand a good chance of winning. If nobody else enters, you'll win automatically.

Get going people!

I'll put a closing date on of 8pm GMT on the 18th of September. Any entries I get after that won't be counted.

That really is confusing. What I find the most confusing is the mix of Phase 1 & 2. I thought only Phase 1 style was allowed. :look:

I'll enter as soon as I come up with a good concept.

What's confusing you? I know there's a lot there, but I don't think there's anything that doesn't make sense. I've tried to answer everything in the passage.

I know, but I suppose it doesn't matter as I have designs for both. No commandos though!

Great! I look forward to seeing it.

That is the link to my brickshelf page which features the new Delta, this time I spent more time on the penwork and used a CD/OHP marker pen. This is my official entry. Thanks for your understanding as the other Delta was a preliminary design. But I know you like making more of these clones.

Behold, the Field Marshal Delta

2009_01050039.jpg

Thanks to my steady hand, the sharpie (as it seems to be called) is pretty well applied as I see it and if I say so myself.

2009_01050026.jpg

Back view.

There is a bandoleer (bad spelling) on his leg instead of his chest as his chest is already detailed and I thought the legs were bare. On the other leg there are two grenades. The helmet was tricky as I wanted it just the right amount of sharpie. I'm kicking myself about the bad craftsmenship of the first try.

Thanks, KJ.

He looks much better now. The marker pen work is far steadier and looks a lot nicer.

I'll give him a go and enter him in the competition. :sweet:

Very well done, Delta!

CloneCommanderDelta7 is the second to have his entry in the competition:

Field Marshal Delta

From the look of him, and JimButcher's description of his clone, Night Owl, they could be part of the same faction.

I'M A COUNT!!!! :cry_happy:

Actually, it does kind of look like what I had in mind, especially the helmet stripes.

That is amazing!!! If you have seen the evolution sets of Hasbro figurines, (I don't collect them, I just see them) the set of three Deltas look fab!!! The bandoleer on his leg is a lot better than I thought it would be. If you want, could you add two grenades on his left leg (his right leg from our point of view) just like the below picture but fully black. If you have the time though, I know you may and probably are busy.

Thanks, it looks a lot better than the last Delta, as a minifigure on my part, but most importantly on your part, the awesome paint graphic.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: /5
