Ras 74 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Here is the place to come with ideas, discussions and so on. I will start by saying, there will be an Event Extra this year as well. This is exclusively for the ones coming to the event that are members of Eurobricks. So first discussion point will be, how much would you guys think it is worth for this? I don't remember how much we spent last year, but I think it was around 20 €. Is this ok, or should it be more, or less. Let us know your ideas. -Ras-
KimT Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I recall last year being 30 EUROs. Can we have a new coffee mug? - Mine is nearly used up
Jipay Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I dunno how much it was last year. I remember ordering the mugs and the T shirts though 30 euros seems ok for me, but I think that all in all it depends on what you get ! Extras on
DJ Force Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 What would that extra be? What was it last year? As Jipay said, it all depends.
Ras 74 Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 The extras has so far been cup, t-shirt, 2 special designed sets with lots of rare, hard to find expensive bricks included + extra goodies in form of LEGO. The sets has been designed be CM, he will this year play a role as well. No one has never been disapointed I think. There is something for everyone to like. About a mug again... no idea. Don´t think it will happend man. Sorry. -Ras-
DJ Force Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Well, I have to confess I´m not too keen on T-Shirts or mugs, but anything LEGO is always great
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted March 10, 2009 Eurobricks Emperor Posted March 10, 2009 My preference for the extra is anything Lego related. Personally I'm also no big fan of mugs and t-shirts. I'm OK with whatever cost you guys prefer. 20-30 euro is fine for me.
Quarryman Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Though I wouldn't exactly cry if it's a t-shirt I would prefer something LEGO related. And yes, 20-30 euro sounds fine.
Captain Green Hair Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Don't remember what last year's extra costs were, all ik now is that they were great! 20 - 30 euro's is ok for me as well. Looking forward to what CM comes up with this year.
Holodoc Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I don't recall the exact amount of last years extras as well, but I thought it was even more than 30
Morten Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I can only back Holodocs post up, no mugs, no t-shirts, lots of special LEGO, yes! Ammount doesn´t matter! Morten
KimT Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I can only back Holodocs post up, no mugs, no t-shirts, lots of special LEGO, yes! Ammount doesn´t matter!Morten What's an 'ammount'? Is that even close to the aluminum falcon? If we're going for the bricks - then I say 40 Euros - the more the merrier Thinking of what we've gotten the past years, then I say the sky's the limit here Mkay, I'll buy me own stinky coffee mug. I just like the one I have that says: "Eurobricks Event" and has the EB logo on it. Sheesh! We've only gotten a mug once...
DJ Force Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 KimT, do you know nothing? An Ammount is the highest number of ammonition you can load into a minifig weapon from Brickarms!
KimT Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 How about making those engraved name tags that we got on a previos event? I really like those and would love to have a new one where my display name is "KimT" instead of "kimt".
Quarryman Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Engraved name tags would be cool, and as a side note in that regard; Matija in Brikkelauget does brick engraving.
Holodoc Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I´m in for engraved bricks as well. They would fit my already existing name tag perfectly. I have no idea where to get this machine though.

CopMike Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Engraved for me to ! The extras last year was €50. Now the "extras"-planning goes into full gear ! CopMike
Holodoc Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 The extras last year was €50. Ha - I knew it! Now the "extras"-planning goes into full gear ! Excellent! Extras ON!
Ras 74 Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 Matija will be contacted about this issue as soon as I know what colour to have. Any suggestions? Did we use Maersk blue for the first one in Windsor? -Ras-
KimT Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Matija will be contacted about this issue as soon as I know what colour to have.Any suggestions? Did we use Maersk blue for the first one in Windsor? -Ras- Not sure... Lemme check. [rushes off] Looks light blue to me.. can't compare with maersk coloured pieces since my daughter's sleeping. Could it be medium or bright blue that we used in Windsor? How many bricks per person are we talking? 1 with name 1 with Eurobricks + logo 1 with Event 2009 Günzburg As in 3 in total?
CopMike Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I think light blue like Kim says ! Here´s a colors availiable, let´s pick our own top 3 picks - mine are: 1. Metallic silver - classy but expensive I guess . 2. Dark blue - yummy ! 3. Dark brown - just a cool color! CopMike
Zorro Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Let me know how and when you want my payment because I'm in for this!

Or do you have something up your sleeve perhaps? If you do I'm all for those colours, but I might change my mind about dark brown. At least the metallic silver has to be included ("only" 1.50 USD from someone who has it in decent numbers (like Helge, who might give discounts)). If only dark tan was available, or dark green... (my favourite colours at the moment )
Holodoc Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 1. Metallic silver - classy but expensive I guess .2. Dark blue - yummy ! 3. Dark brown - just a cool color! This is a Eurobricks event, so we should use a blue color with a yellow writing on it. Dark blue would be very nice! ...but the other options are fine, too. How many bricks per person are we talking?1 with name 1 with Eurobricks + logo 1 with Event 2009 Günzburg As in 3 in total? I don´t think a logo will be possible, or am I totally wrong here. For me just a "Eurobricks Event #5" is enough:
