Teddy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 (edited) <edit: As requisted, New photos > Dear all, after building the railway station for the community build I was inspired to build a train. Here is the result. Any feedback and comments are welcome. Kind regards, Teddy Here it is on its costum track: All wheel sections can hinge except for the three larger weels: Side view: The train next to its costum track: Edited March 28, 2009 by Hinckley Quote
Guss Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 this is .. awesome.. I just love it, great job ! such accuracy on such little scale! 12/10 Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Is that really lego? Its too perfect. Teddy, you never stop amazing me with your creations. Quote
h.k. Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Amazing how you have so many details worked into it... and it looks pretty sturdy too. Excellent job! Quote
Shadows Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Absolutely amazing! 2 words ... Samurai sword! PERFECT. Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Teddy, I am now quite sure that my earlier comment of 'MOC Genius' was not out of place. Is that an open suitcase at the front? Because if it is... You are a magnificent builder Teddy, stay representing EB forever! Quote
Carbohydrates Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Beautiful train! I wish I could make out some more details, but black is hard to see - not a slight against the train in any way, merely an observation. I think the track itself deserves special mention, too! I love it. Quote
Aliencat Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 This is nice and detailed for its size, and the fact it can hinge its way through bends is just awesome on this scale. Great job! Quote
ProducePrincess Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 That train is fantastic and you managed to put in a fair amount of detail for somthing thats mini-scale. I also like the custom mini tracks , it kindof reminds me of an old toy train i have thats around the same scale. I hope you make a few more in the future Quote
Mariann Asanuma Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Sweet train! I love all the little details, especially the train track! Quote
KimT Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Wow. Amazing micro-scale work. The track is amazing well designed. Your work keeps surprising me. Quote
WhiteFang Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I can't believe my eyes! This miniature steam train is authentic looking and is so much detailed with various use of different small elements. At first glance, I thought it was not LEGO related, but after looking at it closely, this is a fanastic looking creation. The railway tracks are well designed too. Quote
legofan Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Hehe! Cute! The train looks awefully familar.... Emerald Lights mini version?? Nice! The track with its surrounding scenery sums up a beautiful MOC~ Thanks ! Viola! Quote
Holodoc Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Very well done! Not only the train itself, the track is very nice, too! Ingenious use of parts, Teddy. I´m always amazed what people come up with, especially when talking about micro models. The only thing is: Can we see a lighter photo of your train, please? Quote
Teddy Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 Dear all, thanks for all the cool replies. Very well done! Not only the train itself, the track is very nice, too! Ingenious use of parts, Teddy. I´m always amazed what people come up with, especially when talking about micro models. The only thing is: Can we see a lighter photo of your train, please? Dear Holodoc, the black was really difficult to capture, even with adequate lighting. After taking +/_ 50 photos and some selection I choose these three as the best. Kind regards, Teddy Quote

That would have blown my head off. Quote
Er!k Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Nice to see a lot of details on the engine... Are you also going to build a small station around it? Quote
Teddy Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 Nice to see a lot of details on the engine... Are you also going to build a small station around it? Thanks Er!k, I'm not sure about a station, but I might try to build some same scaled models. Kind regards, Teddy Quote
