Chrome Vader or Chrome Threepio?

It is a bit gimmicky that they made a chrome vader. He is really shiny though. Look, if it sells more sets, than what the heck? Why not?

I would prefer the Threepio. It would make more sense to have since C-3P0 is pretty shiny in the movies, but Vader isn't all that shiny. In fact, his suit looks like it's made out of plastic in the movies, so it makes sense to have a plastic Vader. Besides, the Threepio fig is older and more valuable than the Vader, and there is still a chance that Vader could come out of one of the sets I will purchase this year.

It sounds to me like you really want that 3po and I can't blame you it's awesome! I have seen both the real c3po and real vader costumes used in the movies and darth vader was'nt very shiny so I'd go with 3po. I hope they make more chrome minifigs like a super battle droid or a JAWA!

C-3PO simply because you cant find him anymore and because your still got the possibility of getting the vader. And 3PO costs more.

Id go for the chrome C3PO because hes actually knida chrome in ROTS which is cool. And it looks a lot better than the chrome vader. He's not meant to be chrome!!!

It's hard to tell though, as you can see the shining armor of Darth Vader in Episode 3.

But I think C3PO is better as it was really chrome in the movie.

What if you found him in an old set that a local store had . I chose C-3PO just because I think the minifig generally just looks better.

I didn't think of that. It' incredibly unlikely, but if it did happen, it'd be amazing. I guess it's possible, considering the amount of old, MISB sets that get sold on BL and ebay.

The only contest going on is in the Watto's Junkyard thread, and neither one of those figs are the prizes.

This thread is just about which you like better.
