I am looking for the Brickshelf folder that had the attached rendered image of a Lego room in it. As I recall, there were several other view angles of the room in this folder - but I cannot find it on Brickshelf anymore. Does anyone know this scene or the person who made it? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

You could search some keywords like render or CAD. Other than that, I'm not sure.

if you ever saved the picture in original filename, you can search by its filename.

hope that mayh help. :classic:

Thanks for the suggestions...I did search for various keywords on BS but came up empty. Surprisingly, searching for "CAD" turned up zero results - even though it is one of the predefined tags BS uses. I think there is something amiss with the search engine. Unfortunately, I did not keep the original filename of the picture either - so unless someone happens to remember this series of renders (they are really extraordinary) I guess I will not find them again.

Very good Sinner!

Wow, I must admit, at first glance I had no idea what you were on about when you said this was CAD. But then I looked at the images in the folder more closely, and I was stunned! I didn't think these kinds of images were possible! I mean, this is just so damn realistic! I honestly you guys had lost it until I looked a second time. :cry_happy:

It was the winner of the LDraw Scene of the Month contest in January 2007.

That image is by Jan Folkersma. He's Stinky on Brickshelf, and that render is here.

Removing his hat and glasses, mild mannered Siegfried transforms into Super Walrus! Nice job, and I'm really glad to get a chance to see it. :sweet:

That is unbelievable. Now that's one guy who would be allowed to enter rendered mocs in contests if it was up to me. About the only thing wrong is that everything is just too perfect, too rich and clean.

Amazing. :oh:

 I do a lot of MOC browsing. True I'm mostly looking to see if one of mine has been blogged, but I'm showing interest in others work at the same time.

Yeah - the Super-walrus strikes again!

Thank you so much for opening this topic, thomasmain and Sinner for his investigative abilities!

This folder is now bookmarked on my pc.
