KimT Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I regret not buying all of the Minifig packs 3340, 3341, 3342 and 3343 and persuading myself that the sculptures of Yoda and Darth Maul weren't "real" Star Wars LEGO. Plus ignoring Watto's Junkyard and Gungan Sub was also bad... they're both around 60-100 USD in MISB condition now. Other than that I've got every single set ever made Quote

KinGanon Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Probably the Imperial Inspection since now you can sell off the figs (printed stormies ) and still make a profit. I also regret missing out on the ARC 170 Starfighter, but that set was only available during my dark ages Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 We had the 10119 Rebel Blockade Runner at our old LEGO store for half price some years ago. I didn´t get one, since I decided early to only collect the sets containing mini-figs. I still got a few other UCS sets, but I was so dumb not getting that one. I got all system sets, and the UCS sets containing mini-figs by now. Plus ignoring Watto's Junkyard and Gungan Sub was also bad... they're both around 60-100 USD in MISB condition now. When will you stop moaping about that Watto set?You have done so all time I known you! It is not getting cheaper the longer you wait. I know that you do think that sometimes JUST BUY IT!! -Ras- Quote
Tacitus Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I'd have to say that a lot of the sets that came out during my dark ages are those I regret not having, like the Ninja sets and the Forestmen's River Crossing. I'm also kind of annoyed that I never got around to buying the second version of Hagrid's Hut. Ah well, they say you never regret the things you buy, only the things you don't. Tacitus. Quote
simonjedi Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Most sets from 2001 to about early 2006. (Dark Ages) UCS. Quote
JCC1004 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I would say the Wookiee Cataminran. I love the green troopers! Quote
SlyOwl Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Swamp Attack - vegetation, JarJar, Qui Gon, 2 Battle Droids and cheap! I meant to get it, but never did (Same goes for Jedi Defence 2, although that was a bit more expensive for what you got) I had the opportunity in a shop, but instead got Red Planet Protector, which was a mediocre-poor buy, but came to about the same amount. But hey, it looked cool on the box, and Star Wars was so last year in 2001! Quote
Ratshot Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 (edited) I regret not getting Anakins starfighter, ARC-170 and The SlaveI when it came with Jango. He now costs A TON Edited March 31, 2009 by Broadside Quote

Derek Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 The Droid Tri-fighter from 2005. It was the Halloween of that year that I got my first Star Wars set: Anakin's Starfighter and Vulture Droid. At that point, I was not compulsive about getting every set I can afford, especially the small ones (I like getting all of the sets from all themes that are under $20. That way, I can still have a large collection, with variety and not going broke). But that looks like such a nice set , well designed too. If I had the opporunity to buy it right now for MSRP, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Quote
The Who Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I would say the Wookiee Cataminran. I love the green troopers! Got it! Not that impressed by it nowadays, though. I regret not getting Anakins starfighter, ARC-170 and The SlaveII when it came with Jango. He now costs A TON Got all of those too. I had the best deal EVER on the SlaveII. My friend had one almost brand new, but built, didn't want it, and sold it to me for $20. No box. I really regret not buying up a bunch of Watto's Junkyards, Mos Espa Podraces, and EpII sets. Only have one of each of these now, thanks to Bricklink. Would not have them otherwise. Quote
Corvus Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I regret not buying most of the UCS sets, mostly the X-Wing, Y-Wing, and Blockade Runner. They're running 150+ on BL now. Too bad I was relatively young when Lego sold them. I wasn't particularly interested in them, then. After getting my first UCS, the AT-ST, and General Greivous, I started looking around. Too bad all the current UCS are beyond my size range. Quote
def Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I regret not buying...Blockade Runner. I'd love to have one of those. I 100% missed that ship. Quote
mutley777 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Hmmm.. Feeling a bit deja vu about this topic could be that i posted it elsewhere a few days ago Anyway, for me it has to be the Technic Hailfire Droid. I never liked any of the technic star wars sets but this one really stood out but off course this was not a system scale set and so i left it. Now we have the system set i feel myself wishing that i had bought the set at the time as i even passed it up half price Also but not really a set, i should have picked up the black hole stormtrooper maquette when i saw it for $80 on ebay. That is one purchace that is really going to hurt when i do finally get round to it. Quote

Dadster Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Jango Fett's Slave 1 when it was discounted @ K-Mart for $25. Quote
